Een ordinaire boef die borgsommen achterhoudt. Juridisch traject loopt.

I am the landlord of a property that was rented through Tijdelijk Twee Woningen.

The tenancy ended more than two months ago, and the tenant’s deposit has still not been returned. As the landlord, I have confirmed that there is no damage or other reason to withhold the deposit.

Despite repeated requests to return the tenant’s money, we have received no meaningful response. Our WhatsApp messages and calls are not being answered.

After seeing the many other reviews here reporting similar experiences, we are extremely concerned. This cannot simply be allowed to continue.

We are now starting legal proceedings regarding the withheld deposit, and we also intend to bring this situation to the attention of the Dutch media.

Het helaas inmiddels bekende verhaal met Tijdelijk Twee Woningen, alles verloopt prima tot de borg terugbetaald moet worden en de hoorn op de haak blijft. Gezien de uitsluitend één ster reacties lijkt dit toch het meest op systematische, kwaadaardige oplichting. Je hoopt dat niemand met deze bandiet in zee gaat.

Ook wij zijn helaas opgelicht door tijdelijk twee woningen. Het leek allemaal prima. Uiteindelijk is de beloofde service niet uitgevoerd. Wij zijn aan het lijntje gehouden tot de borg door de huurder werd over gemaakt. Op moment dat de betaling en ook de borg waren ontvangen werd het contact verbroken. De borg is tot op heden niet geretourneerd. Wij hebben juridische stappen ingezet.

As the owner of a property that was rented through Tijdelijk Twee Woningen (TTW), I am unfortunately unable to recommend my experience.

My concerns relate primarily to communication, transparency regarding deposit administration and the handling of tenant deposits after the end of a tenancy.

A tenancy in my property ended on 31 March 2026. The contractual deadline for repayment of the former tenants’ deposit has since passed and, at the time of writing, neither the former tenants nor I have received confirmation that payment has been made.

In addition, I have repeatedly requested information regarding the administration and management of tenant deposits and, despite multiple written requests, I have not yet received substantive answers to those questions.

As a result, I have sought independent legal advice and the matter is currently being addressed through legal counsel.

Do not trust this company or E. M! He will take your deposit and never return it. Work with any other company that is legit.

Tijdelijk twee woningen is a scam company. The owner pretends to mean well, but be alarmed and never leave a deposit with him, he will not return it after the contract ends.

Enorme oplichters. Plaatsen huurders in je huis zonder toestemming van de bank, ook al gaven ze aan dat ze wel toestemming zouden hebben gekregen. En geven borg niet terug aan huurders. Schoften zijn het.

We rented an apartment through this real estate agency because it had been recommended by ING. At first, everything went well, but as soon as they received their fee... They vanished. In our case, they required the tenant’s security deposit to be transferred into their agency account, and now they are refusing to return it. We have initiated legal action to recover our deposit. I want to warn everyone: do not use this real estate agency. They are also operating under the name “Tijdelijkvanhuis”; you can read their reviews on Trustpilot.
In short: avoid them at all costs!
