The Stoneygate Eye Hospital Arvostelua 

Having attended The Stoneygate Eye Hospital for Refractive Lens Exchange in both eyes I can honestly say it has changed my life. No more frustration with wearing glasses or contact lenses. I didn't know what to expect from the procedure and was very surprised with a) how little time the actual procedure takes and b) virtually no pain during or after. Everything was fully explained to me before the surgery and clear instructions given post op. Mr Sampath was very professional and clearly very popular seeing how busy the hospital is. His staff are lovely and very friendly. Thank you to Penny for recommending us and to Prerna for being kind to me and my wife on both occasions.

I had cataract surgery at The Stoneygate Eye Hospital in March 2023 and can honestly say that the whole experience was smooth, hassle free and now I have amazing eyesight, hardly needing glasses at all.
The staff are kind, caring and very professional.
Private health care enabled me to choose the dates for my operations and receive the most up to date technology which means that I now have good glasses free eyesight. I would recommend The Stoneygate Eye Hospital wholeheartedly.

I recently underwent cataract surgery at the Stoneygate Eye Hospital
The hospital was excellent in every way.
My experience of all staff and service was exceptional from the reception to the clinical personal.

This was my second cataract surgery and on both occasions I am so impressed with patient care and consideration. The receptionists are so polite, friendly and supportive. The nursing staff attentive, helpful and so very kind. My reason for having my first cataract surgery at Stoneygate in March ‘23 was after my visits a few years prior for uveitis and sarcoidosis - I realised then, that the staff were second to none. This was, therefore any easy choice for treatment. Having seen Mr Sampath who reassured me that whilst my particular cataract surgery could be complicated due to the ongoing trauma in my left eye, he would do his very best for me. He went above and beyond to restore my sight! At the time of my diagnosis I had nil sight in my left eye! Following the procedure my vision was near perfect and I could focus and read immediately, even before leaving Stoneygate that day. I decided that as my right eye was headed towards the same direction as my left had been, It made sense to have the same procedure done. Mr Sampath once again did an incredible job of improving my vision on Saturday 13th May ‘23. I am beyond grateful for his expertise and incredible skill. I would 1000% recommend him to anyone who is looking for an exceptionally talented Ophthalmologist. He’s very professional, but extremely kind and patient. I’m over the moon happy with the results from my surgeries and will always use Stoneygate for treatments and recommend this amazing eye clinic to everyone! Thank you all so much

March 2023 - removal of a chalazion on both eyelids. Dr Berry-Brincat was fantastic, from the first appointment, surgery and aftercare appointment, really approachable and easy to community with and always with a smile. The whole process was quick, fantastically managed and I felt really taken care of. The after care pack of cooling eye mask, antibiotic drops, gauzes and saline water, showed how much they cared, even after the surgery appointment, even a polite follow up call the day after the surgery to make sure I was ok. I would recommend Stoneygate to all my family and friends. Overall fantastic service.

Mrs Berry- Brincat and her team were all so reassuring and supportive. I have healed really well and my histology results were good!! The whole process from start to finish (wonderful receptionist’s) Abbey and Sarah. I would highly recommend.

From start to finish I was kept completely up to speed with what treatment I was having which led me to be completely relaxed at all times. My bilateral punctal plug insertion went brilliantly and am hoping that this procedure will stop my watering eyes. My consultant was fantastic. I highly recommend xxx

I attended for a scheduled Cataract operation on my left eye. I was quite relaxed due to the fact that I was well prepared and informed about was going to be done. I had also read all the excellent pre-op material they provided which really helped me feel comfortable. I’m truly amazed at the vision improvement which is frankly superb, I now see colours beautifully and sharply, I’m also writing this review without my spectacles, which I’ve been unable to do for a very long number of years.
I wish to thank everyone for their professionalism, also for the care and attention given to me during my visit. The Surgeon who operated made me feel relaxed by engaging me in conversation throughout. The procedure wasn’t at all painful or uncomfortable. I’m so delighted with the quality of vision and look forward to having my other eye done.
