Concern Regarding Exchange Policy for Faulty Product
I bought this online for my daughter’s birthday. Unfortunately, when she opened it, she immediately noticed that it would not spray because the atomiser tube ("straw") was missing. The bottle also appeared not to be full. I contacted Customer Care and was advised that I could either return the item by post for a refund or exchange, or take it to one of their stores to arrange the same. As I wanted a replacement, I took the product to the Brent Cross store. I was then informed by the store manager that, because I had purchased the item during a promotion, I would need to pay an additional amount to exchange it for the same product. I was completely shocked by this response. The item was faulty when supplied, and I do not believe a customer should be expected to pay extra to receive a replacement for a defective product.
I cannot think of any other company that would apply such a policy, and it seems both unfair and highly misleading. I am also concerned as to whether this approach is consistent with consumer rights legislation, given that I was simply seeking a replacement for a faulty item rather than a different product.

We visited Brent cross shopping centre…
We visited Brent cross shopping centre London yesterday. Me and my husband ordered couple of perfumes. Two stuff (Areen and Shaquila) were absolutely amazing, they both helped us a lot, found the right items, did a smooth transaction, both were very professional, helpful, very friendly. We left the shop very pleased with lots of free gifts too. Will definitely go back again.
