The mechanic arrived within the 2 hour window. He listened to me before checking the car. He explained as he went along what he was doing and why. A full explanation of what he felt the problem had been was given and advice on what to do if it happened again. He was polite, professional and friendly throughout.

Kept well informed of arrival time. Callum was very professional and dealt with my situation very quickly. A credit to both Mansfield group and Britannia Rescue. Thank you.

Positives and negatives: the car repair appeared very well carried out, and the outside of the car visibly repaired, and then polished. However, the car was not returned as scheduled (which wasn’t a huge issue, as I work from home), but rather frustrating, as it was only returned at an unsocial hour of 9.15pm on a Friday night, two days after the scheduled return.

The most disappointing part of the process was the dirty and unclean state of the inside of the door (the door being the damaged part of the car). This had not been cleaned prior to return, and was covered in dust, grime, grease and engineers fingerprints.

Moving forward: I’d suggest giving the owner a more realistic timescale for repair; not trying to rush the vehicle back to the owner; attention to cleanliness of workmanship prior to the return.

Used the service to transport my car for repair and back. Good communication and car in good condition through out the service.

The young man who picked up my car was very friendly and helpful, he went above and beyond to send back to me something I left in the car , he arrived very promptly and gave me an arrival time

My vehicle was recovered to garage by this company after a breakdown as part of Britania rescue. Initial communication was good and the drivers arrived at the said time. But they did not come near the vehicle although there was a wide road near the car park. They knew that my car was not starting and that was the reason for recovery. I felt being dismissed due to my skin color too. They were adamant that they will not come to get my vehicle and I had to some how take it to them about 300 metres away although it was not starting!
Then I called their office again and had to fervently plead. Then one person walked to me to confirm that I was telling truth that it was wide enough road to reach my vehicle. All this caused me extra stress.
Afterwards the process was fine and they recovered the vehicle to the garage.

Happy with the driver who collected my car was nice and polite. Generally happy with the service .

They turned up promptly and were extremely professional and took great care in loading vehicle.

The Mansfield group recovered my vehicle after an accident. I do not have any complaints at present with the recovery but the communication with me was very poor and added additional stress to the event.
On the day of the accident I was asked if I would remain with the vehicle or leave the keys in a safe place. I was advised that it would be preferred if I stayed with the vehicle until they were able to collect it and waited at the accident location (a multi-storey car park) for 2 hours. During that time I received a call confirming the wait time and location of the vehicle. 2 hours later I received a call asking where I had planned to leave the keys. I explained that I was confused as I had confirmed I had been waiting for the recovery vehicle for the past 2 hours. They explained that when they checked the multi-storey car park details they realised they needed to send out a different vehicle and the collection would have to wait until the following day and they were calling to know where I would leave the keys. I explained that this had not been communicated to me and therefore I did not have a plan yet. I explained I would have to call them back once I had made such arrangements and found the operator pushing me to give an answer immediately.
I was also informed that I would be contacted when they collected my vehicle the following day but received no communication.
It also appeared that they had not communicated with the repair shop regarding the car and therefore I received a call the following day from them about organising the collection of my car.
Overall I felt the communication with customers was very poor and I hope they are able to reflect on this and make some changes.

I recently had to use this company in the last few days due to my car getting a puncture on the M62 the service l received was excellent and the driver removed my vehicle and myself to a safe place

Response time and communication was good, but the chap who came to fix it didn’t seem that interested in even looking at it. However, the guy who came afterwards to recover it to the garage was spot on. So it was a bit of a 50/50 experience.

Excellent, prompt service. The car was recovered quickly and taken to the garage without any hassle. Thank you
