The Karma Mama Arvostelua 

Lisa is a wonderful massage therapist and art teacher. Whatever she is doing she brings her whole attention and energy to, making sure her clients get the most from their time with her.

There is such a variety of new and exciting things to do via Karma Mama, from meditation, reiki and art in all different styles. Ive learned so much at the hub and met some great people along the way. I really hope this continues as its such an asset to the community. Not to mention the carnivals in west Hendon that get organised, which are on a whole other level. Please keep doing what you do Lisa and team. :)

A great outdoor class, I left feeling calm and relaxed

Lisa’s classes are all amazing. She gives very clear instructions and makes each event is fun and so worthwhile. I’ve tried her various painting, relaxation and meditation classes.

Great way to bring community together, while also doing something good for the body. These yoga sessions really improved my stiff shoulder.

This class served as a great means for me to release freedom of creative expression. Lisa showed us pictures of Pablo Picasso paintings and advised us how to paint our pictures to a create similar style. This was so helpful. Also, from talking to the person sitting next to me, we decided my artwork should be called "Mystic Woman", which suited my painting which had a front and side view of my colourful self portrait. All the combined discussion and painting served as wonderful talk therapy too, which I really enjoyed. The art and social classes at the hub with Lisa and her class group are a great healing therapy for me. These classes are so important for my mental wellbeing, especially as I age. I always look forward to attending Lisa's art & social classes.

I thought that the house was beautiful, quite spectacular actually and close to the beach. It was well chosen. Unfortunately the cook left on the first morning due to being ill but we all rallied round and "mucked in" with the cooking. It helped build cameraderie and I got to show off my cooking skills! Most of the women were very new to a healthy living retreat and so did not understand the philosophy behind a total vegan diet or abstinence in general. I'd say that this being Karmamarma's first retreat it was good but perhaps the logistics of the bedrooms could have been handled differently. All in all though-4 stars for the love, care and planning that was put behind this. Thank you Lisa!!

Very wholesome, holistic approach to wellbeing

This was my first retreat and what an experience, Lisa was an amazing host, came away feeling so positive couldn’t recommend her highly.

I attended the ‘ Wellness Reatreat’ in Kent ( 21/06-24/06).

I would recommend one of Lisa’s retreats to any woman on a spiritually healing journey. I didn’t know any of the other attendees at the beginning but came away with a couple of really good friends, that I know are now friends for life.
The Yoga, Reiki, meditation and massage sessions were out of this world.
Lisa explains EVERYTHING, if you feel you can’t do something, you can sit it out, without guilt.
There was a lot of healing being done this weekend and the energy was palpable.
I will 100% be attending regularly. Namaste 🙏🏽

Great experience as usual.

The yoga class really helps with slowing down. I find I'm much calmer after the class.

All art equipment provided, set in a cosy room in Hendon hub with great guidance from Lisa and nice music in back ground - loved my finished product !!

Before I start the session Lisa always explains what exercise were doing and how it would benefit my health and gives great advise every week she focus on different parts of the body which has really helped with my mental wellbeing the sessions are fantastic I wouldn't be able to afford this privately and the atmosphere is so nice and friendly

The most exceptional masseuse. Lisa is intuitive and talented in her work. I always look forward to my weekly massage with her.

Lisa is literally the best masseuse and body worker. She is so intuitive and knows exactly what I need - from lymphatic drainage to deep tissue. Honestly - the best!
