The Interior Design Academy Arvostelua

After completing The Professional Interior Design Course, I have gone on to assist hundreds of clients over the years to create beautiful interior and exterior designs for their homes. I work largely in the new home construction industry and help clients complete mainly kitchens and bathrooms and indoor & outdoor living spaces that reflect them and their lifestyle.

The course itself was well presented with easy instructions for the completion of each assessment. There was always someone on hand to assist with any queries and I had the encouragement and support of a personal tutor. I loved the ability of working online at my pace (much of how the world operates now) so I was able to complete the course around my full-time job and my family life. Upon completion of the course, I have been able to use the skills acquired to go and create a fun and rewarding career that I continue to run largely online with some in house appointments to discuss client needs and changes; however much of this can be done online via video stream now, which also adds to that lifestyle flexibility.

I have been using my skills learnt during my course studies to go and work with many builders in both the volume home and custom home industries and complete project renovations for family and friends. I just love how much the changes in their homes makes them feel and is able to represent who they are. I found that for many people visualising or designing what they want is very difficult, so it has been amazing to provide solutions to their design challenges and show how it will look and increase the value of their properties. I have gone on to do online courses in drafting and design to fully provide 2D & 3D Designs for clients.
If I could offer any advice to anyone considering taking up this course, it would be this course will give you the fundamental education you will need to work as an interior designer. This is an excellent, interesting and engaging course. The convenience of online study in a timeframe that suited my schedule was a much appreciated aspect. The feedback from my experienced tutor was timely and helpful. I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to up-skill or follow an interest in the industry.

Great course and highly recommended to others considering a career in interior design.

Gave me a great base to start with and a good overall understanding.

The course was exceptionally good and very achievable online. I found the feedback from each assessment was valuable and the additional notes provided were expansive and clear. I was able to work at my own pace around my existing work in another industry.

If you love interior design then this course is perfect for you.

I have done a lot of work on my own home as well and the compliments I get are results of understanding and working with design and colour.

Course materials and tutor feedback clear and constructive.

Good course I learnt a lot but unfortunately haven't been able to put it into practice yet..maybe one day!
