Before you sign a lease at The Grand (CA), I strongly urge you to consider our alarming experience with Greystar Management. Knowing what I do now, I would have never chosen to live here.
Eight months ago, we resolved a billing error with Greystar and paid the agreed-upon amount. Fast forward to today, and we’re blindsided by a collections notice for a bill we’ve already settled. Despite providing undeniable proof of payment, this issue remains unresolved. Greystar has shown a concerning disregard for addressing their own mistake, refusing to engage with us further and instead directing us to the collections agency – an entity that should never have been involved in the first place.
This situation goes beyond simple frustration. It's a glaring example of what seems to be more than just negligence; it feels almost like deliberate oversight. Despite our efforts to clear up their error, we've been met with a calculated indifference that is shocking.
Our experience is part of a larger pattern of issues here, from building problems to management failures. It's been one thing after another.
So, here’s my direct advice: seriously reconsider your decision to move to The Grand (CA). With Greystar at the helm, expect to deal with lackluster management, where their indifference to detail, incompetence in resolving issues, and avoidance of accountability are starkly apparent. I sincerely wish we had known this beforehand.
