The Good Care Group Arvostelua 

They are very good at selling their package, the reality is that it is not delivered.. they 'say' their carers all cook from scratch, fresh meals, actually they dont - they rely on Charlie Bigham. One hadnt a clue, the other is ok, good on presentation but as they dont eat meat it means my mother doesnt get any either (or if she does its not cooked properly). The documentation is intrusive and over the top, the care company say it will be shared and agreed daily with the individual, it is not, it is secretive and very intrusive. if you complain they dont even respond to you - they take constructive feedback badly. Are the laptops checked for viruses, our carer took down our whole family network with a device.

I am very pleased with my carer who is excellent and am therefore glad that I registered with your Company.

We benefited from 3 different carers during an unexpectedly difficult post-op period of disability and illness where things were hard to predict day by day. All 3 were good, capable, kind people. When one of them was not a good fit for the circumstance an early replacement was handled swiftly and kindly. Good care was taken to support both us and the carers, so although it was relatively expensive there was added value compared to direct employment. The only difficulty really was understanding the contractual framework and having to make decisions further ahead than we were really able to. But overall very glad we placed our trust in The Good Care Group.

The present carers for my sister are excellent but we have experienced three instances where the Care was anything but satisfactory. In fact it resulted in a hospital stay for my sister. Communication is usually very good from the office.
Expense is quite high and could become a problem.

Managed to get a live in carer extremely quickly. Could not have matched us with anyone better. Were worried about someone living in, but she is just like one of the family.

Lovely communication on telephone & have had 3 super live in carers, one of them twice. I have had no worries leaving my husband in their capable hands.

A very good standard of professional and compassionate care provided by experienced care workers.

We've been using GCG for over a year now to help care for my mother who lives in the Scottish Highlands. Carers have been kind, attentive and professional.

Special mention should go to care managers Nyree, and Eilidh who have been superb. The various challenges that have occurred during the past year have been dealt with sensitively, quickly, and professionally.

We co-worked with THE GOOD CARE GROUP, when one of our clients needed more support towards the end of her life. We are a small community Care Company and did not have the capacity to put in a living in carer so we contacted The Good Care Group and had a very experienced, kind and supportive carer , perfectly matched to our client. Our carers still went in to support our client but we were very happy to have someone there all the time, right to the end.
This enabled us to fulfil our clients wishes of dying in her own home.

Relatively expensive but very reliable and easy to get hold of for urgent or non urgent queries. Nearly all our carers have been excellent.

From the moment I contacted the Good Care Group to the moment the carer walked in the door my sister and I were welcomed and steered through the process of finding the right live -in carer for our mum. All the staff, Ulrike, Elaine and Veronica, kept us informed and made the procedures easy. Mum is now secure and happy with the gentle caring of Rut. I cannot praise the team enough and look forward to mums review.

The Good Care Group are always approachable and make the process of finding someone to care for your loved one very easy. The needs of your loved one is always paramount and the carers provided by The Good Care Group are always kind and caring.

The company is doing well from my point of view because I have an excellent care manager in place. She works hard to keep an eye on what is going on, is fair, helpful understanding and always ready to take on board and act on negative feedback if given. Her proactive involvement helps my job as health and welfare deputy run smoothly.

From my initial enquiry contact through to an agreed hourly care contract, everyone involved at Good Care was professional, compassionate and caring. Given the importance of the caring relationship to all that Good Care offers, I was left with the impression that good relationships matter throughout the agency and its activities. And the person ultimately cared for in their home was clearly respected and at the centre of all decisions on care needs and delivery.
As a business, I was pleased to have all agreements and commitments met fully and on time. And the staff allocated to the care were well qualified, experienced and trained, which made it very easy to trust them.

The carer looking after me is first class. She is also a good cook!

The girls who came to look after my relative were great , perhaps if the paperwork they had to do was reduced as everything is done on computers so it does look as if they are on them all the time .
I cannot fault the care given.

I recently had a live-in carer for my husband so I could take a much needed week of respite. I have used The Good Care Group now on 3 occasions and it has been very professional in setting up the care plan and providing experienced carers to keep him relaxed and happy in his daily routine. He no longer has speech, but his smiles for the carer said it all.

From day one of involvement everyone at the Good Care Group has shown professionalism, knowledge and sensitivity in a difficult and emotional situation for us as a family in providing care at home for our mother. The untiring work at providing the best possible care has been exemplary, in spite of a hugely problematic hospital discharge and we have no hesitation in placing our trust in the carer and her manager to provide the best end of life care to Mum that is possible.
