Cold calling - shoddy

A speedy, no hassle, fair renewal process.

I never subscribed and am not a landlord or in the property business / market, so where did they get my email? And why did they add my email as I have zero connection with their market? And are they so desperate for business?

Response to their response. I have informed you often enough but you refuse to divulge EXACTLY how you got my email / who you bought it from. In any event, the legal process for subscribing me was not followed, because I never subscribed anywhere to anyone (why would I?) nor did I receive the legally required "confirm your subscription" email. So the people you bought it from operate unlawfully / illegally and thus you do too.

I am quite happy with the new adviser. One think i am not happy is the £30 arrangement fee. I have been giving all my buisiness to your firm for more than 30 years.

Used to use Ansell for our business insurance, this was taken over by Clear a few years back. First year went smoothly at renewal ( hence three stars instead of 1/2) . Last year we were sent another companies renewal email , complete with turnover/names/address etc. A mistake, not a great one but the person apologised and I would hoped it was a one off. This year the same thing happened again, we were emailed another companies renewal with all their details! I emailed back and didn’t get a response or apology, just a message that they’d recalled the email. It was obviously too late as you can’t recall something I’ve already opened. Next thing we got our renewal . The amount was in the minus? I queried this and got another renewal.
Our premium had shot up unexpectedly . I went through and saw they’d added an extra 20k turnover on a section, even though I’d filled in the form with the correct amounts (again , no reply to that) .
That was corrected and in the meantime I looked elsewhere and got a much better deal and Customer service . Basically our premium has been halved for the first year and would have been £300 cheaper anyway without that deal.
Who knows who has received our details , as twice we’ve been sent others and I can see from another review this isn’t a one off. If it wasn’t for these multiple errors I would just renewed at a higher premium, so I should be grateful in a strange way for their incompetence.

As always, very helpful and have their client’s best interest at heart.

It took me weeks and so many emails to get a reply from them when all I wanted was my invoice so I could pay before my insurance ran out. Will be looking elsewhere next year!
