Firstly, I owe Jake and Bill an apology, it’s taken me nearly two months to write this review. That wasn’t down to laziness though, I wanted to see if I could really give the Cairn Overshirt a proper kicking before passing judgement.

Over the last couple of months, it’s been dragged through just about everything the Scottish weather and countryside could throw at it. Wind, rain, mud, thorns, jaggy nettles, you name it.

It’s been up hills, through woods, down tunnels, on the streets and despite my best efforts, I’ve yet to find its breaking point. More importantly, it’s kept me dry and comfortable throughout.

If you like the look and practicality of a waxed jacket but want something lighter and easier to wear, stop thinking about it and buy a Cairn. It’s tough, versatile, and built to be used, not hung in a wardrobe.

A cracking bit of kit that’s earned its place.

When your friends and family ask, "where did you get your shirt", that says it all. The Cairn does what the makers say and living on a farm in western Scotland we only keep outdoor kit that works. Its earned the peg nearest the door. Thanks guys keep the hard work up I think it will be some time before I replace Batch 02 No101. The Whisky colour is just magic.

I have several Bear and Wolf pieces now and again this did not disappoint. I ordered and recieved an email to say Jake was away so orders would be a little slower as Demi was picking things up alongside her full time job. Well this still arrived super quick this company is so focused on delivering that 5 star customer service and they nail it. Packaging is great and can be easily recycled but enough of that stuff let's get to the product. As anyone who has purchased from these before will know the moment you first touch a product you can just feel the quality, the wax cotton outer is great quality thick and you just instantly know this will only get better the more its worn. The inner lining is softer and feels great when worn.

The Cairn Overshirt is a genuine masterpiece of British manufacturing. Top Quality. Can't recall ever being so pleased with a purchase I've made. I messed up on the sizing and Jake was more than accommodating, sending another without any qualms. Nothing but praise for these guys and hoping they succeed in whatever direction they choose to go in.

I have a bit of an obsession with jackets and own a fair few wax jackets, but this one really stood out. I had been after something like it for a while, and the Cairn in Raven looked the part straight away.

The brand caught my eye too — UK-based, with everything made here. I needed a size up, which was sorted quickly, and the jacket arrived with some lovely personal touches.

It is beautifully made, works for everyday wear or the outdoors, and I had compliments the first time I wore it. I will definitely be buying more from these guys. Great brand, great ethos, keep it up.

I wanted to wait before I reviewed so I could put these socks through their paces. And they have not disappointed.

Many miles walked and my feet are dry, warm, blister free and as happy as knackered feet can be. The socks are well made, great natural material and the feeling is that they will last a good long time. Very happy customer

I order the Pine coloured socks originally and wrote a positive review, and said I would buy more. I now have two pairs of the natural socks. I am sure they will be to the same good standard of my original two pairs.I like these socks.👍👍👍

Went for a Cairn Overshirt, a Traverse shirt in the green and their socks - blown away across the board with the quality and the whole ethos.

I did have to exchange the shirts for better sizing, and that was a super smooth experience with great comms throughout.

Just received my second order - went for the Traverse in black, a cap and more socks!
