One star is too much. Rip off company. Never use them

They took my money and nothing ever arrived. Awful people. Go anywhere else but here. Terrible.

I will never use this shop again.

For most of their 'available' stock it certainly seems like they drop-ship. A simple order for some shafts, points, nocks and fletches took 3 weeks to fulfil - but it did turn up.

Don't order if you need things quickly.

I've ordered quit a few items from this firm over time BUT lately very disappointed!
They are very quick to take your money but orders are on "processing" for weeks, after contacting by phone all you get is promishes "it will be send next week" because there are problems with the supplier.
Problem is they won't give you any information in the meantime.
I've come to conclusion that in future I give this firm a big miss!

The worst experience ever. Payment taken immediatelly (almost 800 pounds), the order was confirmed after one week (after urging them by email). Shortly after that I received another email that 1 item is on backorder and might keep me waiting up to 12 weeks. They promissed in case I dont want to wait, they will refund me my money. Its been 11 weeks now, I have asked for an update or money return multiple times but received nothing. No money, no goods, no proper communication. They are criminals, deserve to be forbidden by law and to be charged!

as others have stated, ordered items and after 5 weeks no delivery and usual excuses, be delivered next week, had to settle through paypal disputes for a refund.
avoid at all costs.

They say items are available but they are not. You wait and wait and wait and then you chase them. You send emails, no response. You call and if they do answer they lie about when it will be with you, knowing full well it won't. Then you call again and they don't pick up. You call all day and they don't pick up, because they are avoiding your number. You email again and get no response. Nearly a month later you have to resort to a dispute on PayPal to get your money back. Liars, fraudsters, to be avoided for anything other than what they really do have in stock, ie the odd bowstring. In fact,
don't even bother with that, they don't deserve your custom. Reporting to trading standards, they need to be shut down.

Long story short. 29 days to get my money back after cancelling order that had not been dispatched but Only with the help of PayPal. Archery shop did
not reply to emails, very difficult to get through on phone and when I did, the girl said she couldn't help but she'd pass the message on. This company suggests to me they are cash strapped. I WON'T BE USING THEM AGAIN

slowest archery store in the entire UK. never replies to email, doesnt not pick up calls during work hours.yet i made the mistake to buy form them three times.

I don’t think I’ve ever bought from these people because of the ridiculous obstructive checking process they use for age verification, which while I understand is necessary is made unnecessarily difficult by them. most companies check on card details/electoral register, this place use 21+ restriction on crossbows, everywhere else 18+, but hey im 73! anyway. email proof via driving license or passport also if not going to address shown they want name and address details with proof of the resident of the delivery address. phoned and wanted to buy straight away on debit card, willing of course to take my money immediately. after reading of people being scammed I’m so glad I’ve avoided this lot, placed my order with Tactical Archery from whom I received outstanding customer service. perhaps this company doesn’t really want to sell crossbows so perhaps they should just stick to conventional bows and avoid infuriating prospective customers, I certainly wouldn’t take a chance of buying anything from them having experienced their attitude and on reading customer reviews.

As with everyone else, incredibly poor service with no replies to emails or phone calls. Ordered a month ago, took 9 days just to go from ordered to in-processing. Asked several times for an update but nothing ever replied.

Best to avoid, would seem they're about to go bust anyway.

Does not deserve 1 star. I ordered an Excalibur Crossbow Stand on 26/9 and have not had an update on anything up till today despite numerous attempts to make contact. I constantly tried to contact you by phone, but just got "Our phone lines are busy try again later".
Emails I sent 5 maybe 6 times regarding asking what has happened to my order NO response at all. Today 4/10 I finally got an abrupt reply telling me "The order will be sent this week" Nothing more why not send it out last week why sit on it? I told them I wanted the item sent today or a refund, and guess what got a refund just like that, they obviously had no intention of sending my paid-for item. This business is THE worst I have ever had the misfortune to try and buy from, I would suggest that people AVOID The Archery Shop they are a very poor and unacceptable business.

Ordered crossbow and target bag online and payment was taken immediately. I received a confirmation of processing 2 days later, but started to get nervous when I hadn't received any update a week after the transaction. I attempted to get an update via email, but no response. I also tried to phone, but no answer. I then saw the reviews here on Trust Pilot and realised I had been scammed. I have sent an email canceling my order and requesting my card is refunded, but no response as yet. I have also initiated a goods and services dispute with my bank. The bank dispute process will be cancelled if I receive a full refund.

Please do not use this online retailer.

Ordered a few things to have ready for a course more than two months in the future (at the time).
"Processing order"email the Monday after the order was placed.
No delivery, no email to confirm sent.
Contacted them via email, reply with problem with distributor, fair enough - plenty of time.
Email with "delivery next week". No delivery. No reply to email inquiry as to what happened.
General email from them (to all customers?) that delay now 3–4 weeks.
5 weeks later, contacted to ask where the goods are, no reply.
Contacted them again as I was needing the things for the course that coming weekend - would it be sent in time?
No answer
Contacted them again the week after with a request to refund my money.
No answer.
Phone-number gives me an answering machine to call M-F 9-17 Phoned a Monday at lunchtime... Not a public holiday.

Personal opinion, business has closed for good. Get your money back any way you can and start proceedings asap.

Having previously purchased a new riser and limbs from the Archery Shop two years ago, I ordered new heavier limbs (that were supposedly in stock) on the 18 June. After placing my order, I was notified of a possible delay, so waited before progressing it again some four weeks later at which time I was advised of a possible further delay. I progressed it again and requested a firm delivery date or a full refund. The next ‘standard’ email response ignored my request completely but advised of a further 3/4 week delay. My last two emails were ignored completely so on the 26 September I raised a dispute with PayPal and received an immediate refund (excellent customer service by PayPal). Not sure what’s happened to this company but treating customers in this way does not bode well for any business.

They Take your money , keep lying about when they are going to deliver

Do not trust , I had to get my money back via PayPal after 6 weeks of waiting for items to turn up

Haven't received an order after a month and a half of what was supposed to be in stock. They dont answer calls and don't respond to emails.

Avoid this company at all costs!

Shows items are in stock when purchasing online, only to send an “out of stock, order delayed” email after purchase.

I immediately cancelled my order and now, after two months of promises to refund, I still haven’t received anything.

Just wish I’d read the reviews below as it looks like I’m not alone. Will be reporting to Trading Standards.

The company blamed their supplier for failing to deliver the goods that were paid for some three months prior. The company then said that they would refund the money within 7-10 working days. Some 17 working days later (23 actual days) the money had not been returned. When you try and call, you get an answer machine message stating that the shop "our phone lines are currently open from 0900 to 1400 Tuesday-Friday, please call back during these hours". They also seem to be somewhat reluctant to answer emails. I am still waiting for a reply to an email sent 23 days ago asking for information as to which account the money was being returned to. Draw your own conclusions. It seems that recourse to the legal process may well be the only means of receiving the money.
