I want to share my experience with this company as a candidate for a mobile developer role.

March 26: First contact by email and phone. I sent my updated CV and never received further feedback.

April 7: I followed up and was told the process was still ongoing.

May 5: Another follow-up, same answer, but I was asked for references.

May 14, 19, 26: I followed up again since neither I nor my references had been contacted. No reply. At this point, I copied Customer Service into the conversation. My main contact finally called me, gave a half-hearted apology, and told me that “if nothing happens, there's no update.” I explained that even a short message saying the client had been reminded would be a minimum standard of communication. I also pointed out that ignoring messages while being active on LinkedIn gives a very poor impression. Under pressure, my contact agreed to send me updates every two weeks.

June 12: No news, despite that agreement. I left a Google review to warn other developers. The same day, my contact reached out asking me to remove the review and promised more transparency.

August 9: Still no update. I contacted Customer Service again and, to make a point, sent an invoice for “Consulting – Recruitment Communication Process Improvement,” given the amount of advice I had provided them about basic communication practices. After 137 days, I still had no job description, no mission details, and no direct contact with the final client, even though the project was supposed to start in September (less than 3 weeks away). My contact called again, still without an apology, only asking why I had sent the invoice. Later, their manager called me; I gave him a recap of the entire story but insisted on continuing by email since phone promises had never been followed up. He agreed, but I never heard back.

Conclusion
I would have much preferred to be told from the start that my application was not moving forward. Instead, this process gave me the strong impression that the role never actually existed and that collecting CVs was the real objective. My main contact showed poor communication and even lied at times. Customer Service was responsive, but powerless. The manager got involved for about 15 minutes and then disappeared as well, adding to the frustration.

This is not an isolated case: I have also been in contact with another recruiter from this company who posted attractive job ads on LinkedIn, asked for CVs by email, but never replied, even when the profile matched perfectly.

After all this and to get something positive, I ended up billing a few hours of work for "Recruitment Workflow Improvement" based on numerous communication advices provided by phone and email.

Overall, this company looks much more like a data collection operation than a serious recruitment agency.

when you delay a payment you will receive many calls from Shenzhen and occupy all your voice mailbox, they can't stand for a single delay really annoying. They works like a debt collector agent.
