Recently I have been traveling and staying in motels and hotels. The temperature of the frigs varies significantly and frequently is outside the safe range for insulin. Tempramed has given me the peace of mind to know that my Insulin is always within a safe temperature range. I have four Tempramed devices to carry out this task.

Was happy with it the first month and then my insulin type changed and it was no longer compatible. That's when you came out with the new one but I didn't want to spend that much money only a month later. I wrote and told you my dilemma. I was very pleased that you sent me, at no additional charge, the new multi-type pen device and it is great! THANK YOU! Will definitely recommend.

I carry my pen with me at all times (in my purse). Thankfully I know it doesn’t get too warm now!!!

I bought this product and within 6 months the K ring that hold the insulin pen in the container pops out all the time thereby exposing my pen to the heat, rendering a lost product.
I contacted TempraMed regarding this issue. Their answer was to 1- watch video to show you how to choose and pick the correct ring according to which pen you are using (note:did that when I got the VIVI container) and 2-Permanently glue the K ring onto the VIVI cap holder. (By the way, that will nullify it’s warranty.)
These VIVI caps are not inexpensive and are SUPPOSED to last several years. Well, the only way to be able to use the one I have it to get a big rubber and and stretch it to both ends of the container with the pen in it to kept the pen in. Kind of defeats the purpose of having it.
As a retired Registered Nurse, I cannot in good faith recommend this product because too many factors play into the safe storage of insulin and obviously this is not all it is cracked up to be.
TempraMed didn’t offer to replace it or fix it so their warranty is useless.

UPDATE: November 3, 2022
After the review on here and another website, TempraMed has offered to send a new updated replacement for me to try. We shall see how it behaves and how long it lasts.

TempraMed did send me a replacement for the one that did not function correctly and the new one has a clear top on it that encapsulates the pen in the unit. Also, the new unit will fit multiple kinds of pens (not all at the same time ;) and it has not come apart in the almost two weeks of daily usage.
I would give it five stars if the initial contact with them was not as “trying” as it was. They asked for several things, which I provided including pictures but still wanted me to glue the K ring in. But when I questioned the validity of doing that against their warranty policy the matter was resolved. These days, the cost of supplies and gadgets for insulin using patients is high, and when one buys a product they expect what is promised. They have rectified their initial hesitancy and I am great full. It is a great product and alleviates the need for a medical cooler to be apart of my everyday life. Thank you TempraMed.

after years of using insulin i discovered this wonderful solution to keep my insulin safe at the right temperature. the product is easy to use, without any charging needed. I recommend this for anyone using insulin pen.

I got the vivi caps that accommodate any pen. I bought 4. I used them this weekend on a diving trip. They did great on board a charter boat, in a hot bag, and hot car. My insulin did not denature. Easy to use, and clean.

The product is absolutely amazing. I actually test the temperature of my insulin pens and they are always at the proper temperature.

Works great for my daughter's sports event. I have thrown so much insulin away because it's gotten hot I wanted to try this but I was skeptical because of the pricing but we absolutely love it it's worth every penny

I am a newly diagnosed type 1 diabetic. I’m so excited to have something that will keep my insulin safe no matter where I am.

I bought two of these to use with both my mantis and humalog and found them very easy to use. I have had them for almost 2 weeks and so far so good. My insulin has stayed at an appropriate temp and is easy to transport

Their new universal design appears a great improvement. It keeps my insulin at a temperature of below 86°. Saved much of my insulin from spoiling, saving me quite a bit of money. Thank you.
