Their range is extensive, great value, quick to ship, but standout is the customer service they offer.

I attempted to purchase a Dell U.2 NVMe drive and several caddies from Techbuyer last week. The drive was listed at $155 with five units shown in stock, so I placed my order. A few hours later, I received a cancellation email stating the item was “out of stock,” which already felt odd.

A couple of days later, I checked the listing again. Not only was the drive back in stock — now showing fifteen units — but the price had increased by over $400, and as of today it has gone up even further. When I contacted support, I was told it was a “pricing mistake.”

Even if that were true, reputable sellers typically honor the price for the order already placed, especially when the difference is this large. Canceling the order, increasing the stock count, and relisting the item at several times the original price comes across as misleading and unprofessional. This experience has made me hesitant to trust or purchase from Techbuyer again.

Edit for response: honoring the price on the website, and fixing the problem after the fact is the only correct answer here as a business. The error in the platform is not my fault. I'm not a "the customer is always right" kind of person, however in this situation, your company made a mistake and should do right by the customer.
