I was a bit hesitant about this service because of a few reviews about their customer service, but I must say my doubts have been erased. I took the ‘surprise me’ subscription with coffee & 2 books and have received two deliveries so far. The books are of great quality, the coffee I’ve received is of great variety, as are the biscuits. They are of course not the highest quality, but for this low of a price that’s logical in my opinion. The packaging is also very sturdy, which is necessary as I live overseas.

So far, I’ve had to reach out to customer services twice and I have been serviced perfectly. They answered quickly and fixed my issues for me almost immediately. One time was to change my shipment date and the other one was about my shipment tracker being the same for the second shipment as it was for the first so I couldn’t track it. My date got moved up from the end of the month to the beginning of the month and they sorted out the tracking system.

I truly recommend this service! I’ve always been a bit more on the careful side with book subscriptions, but this one is worth the money!

I received two orders, the first one wasn't my type of thing and I couldn't get into it. The second I'm enjoying. However I've cancelled my subscription because they've removed the preloved option. Why not just put the price up by £1 instead? Recycling items is good for the environment, we don't need more and more new things! Please bring back this option. You could even leave out the tea and biscuits to save money. Different bookmarks would be nice. I collect them, so a different pattern each month would be a great idea.

The box isn’t as good as it used to be but the book was a hardback whereas I used to get paperback. I was also told I’d get a free tote bag with my order but that never came. I did email but got no reply

I enjoy receiving my books and they are good order.

This was purchased as a gift for my sister. You take a risk when choosing a category and I went with bestsellers. She got a ‘beach read’ for her first book which isn’t really her but hopefully she’ll read it and it enjoy it more than she thinks! The caramel coffee and biscuits looked nice. I wanted to stop the subscription after 3 months but there was only the option to pause it, even when I contacted Customer Services, which is a little frustrating. A nice idea which, with a couple of tweaks could be great. I hope it’s a meatier bestseller next month :)

I really look forward to receiving my box to see what book is inside. Books so far have been in really good condition and an enjoyable read. Bookmark Biscuits and hot chocolate come with it. What’s not to love. It’s a little gift to myself each month

I’ve had a while now and really highly rate them the choice of books are always so good and although not always ones I would of picked myself I am so glad I got them as they have widened the range of books I read and authors x

Great idea as gifts for those difficult people!
Categories are varied but choose with care or you could end up with unsuitable quick airport buys. Can recommend the Politics,Sciences and Insights category.
Annoyingly the subscriptions automatically renew and can catch you out, but fortunately the customer service is excellent and ready to sort out any problems....thank you, Amy!

Amazing customer service. Responded to my inquiry quickly and were incredibly helpful.
The books are high quality and the drink and biscuits are good brands.
Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a mystery box.

Originally we purchased a year’s subscription as a birthday present for our English teacher daughter-in-law. She enjoyed the books which were of a wide mi. and her little daughter always looked forward to the biscuits! The gift was so well received that we decided to do the same for a further year. Company was always easy to contact over things such as address change etc.

I purchased a 3 month subscription as a gift, for a friend that devours books. Best gift ever, she loved every pick that was sent and it was a wonderful recurring treat too.
After completing the order i found it was actually a recurring subscription and emailed for help. Problem was immediately solved. Highly recommend.

I have not had the chance to read the books yet, but they look very fun and very much my style. The package arrived very quickly, and neatly packed. The snacks and hot cocoa were great together. 10/10, would order again!

Excellent subscription service, great reads and well delivered/presented

This is my second box and I love it! Went with the best sellers option to give myself variety and both books have been incredible, not sure I would have 100% picked them up myself but so glad I read them.
It’s greatly priced for what you get as extras as well and they always deliver on time

A little disappointing having read such good reviews. I bought a monthly subscription for the rom com books for my daughters birthday however I am yet to receive a rom com book. This was always a risk what book you get but what I found more disappointing was the packaging of items. They were thrown together brown paper was ripped and the cookies crumbled. The last package also had the hard backed book damaged. I would like to cancel my subscription but it only allows me to pause it.
