It took over a month I had to constantly email with different people giving different answers when it would be in a very poor service I had explained we had a decorator waiting to finish off job just one excuse after another.

Spend your money elsewhere! Steer clear! Constant excuses, items missing from my order despite being notified it was in stock for local delivery within 2-6 days. Waited 2 months and now just being ignored despite sending 12 emails! Shame really as the furniture is fine but the customer care and service is an absolute joke!

Very pleased with the items purchased, they are good quality at reasonable price. Service was excellent from start to finish. The items were delivered on time and the delivery guys assembled the furniture. They did a good job and we are very pleased with their service and the whole experience with Taskers.

Staff always helpful and cheerful

Ordered and had delivered a sofa. Service in the store was good and the ordering process was easy. Delivery was within a week or so and they guys who delivered it set it up ok and took the packaging away.

Held onto our delivery until we were ready ,carried our things to dedicated rooms,no problems whatsoever

Excellent service

Staff are helpful and efficient, bought a sofa and while purchasing a couple of young children were jumping on it, not with feet or anything, just exited wanting their own parents to buy it. My partner was obviously concerned about how long the sofa would be out on display for and how many more people could be jumping on it as you inspect it and sign to say it is not damaged etc during the purchase process. We were told as soon as purchase is complete it will be bubble wrapped and put away for delivery. We went for a coffee ( coffee shop is excellent) walked back past where the sofa was ( have to as exit is that way) not because we did not believe it and sure enough already removed as we were told it would be. Love Taskers great for home idea's, I especially love it at Christmas, beautiful displays.

Purchased a garden parasol with 360 degree rotation. Great service and good value for money. The parasol includes the base which is an additional cost normally.

I spent nearly £5,000 on a 4m x 3m pergola with blinds from Taskers Aintree.

The pergola itself was delivered and assembled without issue, and I’m very pleased with the product. Unfortunately, one of the four blinds arrived damaged. I appreciate that faults can happen during manufacturing or transit – it’s how they’re resolved that really matters.

What has disappointed me is the after-sales support. My emails were not responded to promptly, and after waiting over a week and a half, I was finally informed that a replacement blind is not available.

I’ve repeatedly asked for a resolution and feel the matter should have been handled much more quickly. Had the issue been addressed sooner, a replacement may have been available. At the very least, I would expect Taskers to work with the manufacturer to find a suitable solution.

The pergola itself is excellent, which makes the customer service experience all the more frustrating. I’m still hopeful that Taskers will resolve the issue, as I’d rather not have to consider returning a £5,000 purchase because of a faulty blind and poor communication.

I have been a big shopper at Taskers for many many years and have spent lots of money too but unfortunately based on my last 2 visits i will not be returning
We visited the store on 12th May and purchased £540 of garden lights and were told 2 weeks max and we will receive an email.At the same time we enquired about a nice living room Rug and were told the one we wanted was not in stock and coldly told possibly be in stock within a few weeks (no contact details asked).We left and went to Next and purchased a Rug
Anyway no contact about our light order and our Spark is due tomorrow so i called the Taskers contact number at 9.58am today then again at 10.35 again at 15.09 when i eventually got through and promised a call back and surprisingly no call back and i finally called again at 15.58 and was on hold for 31 mins(a total of an hour trying to get through )so decided to leave work early and visit the store bear in mind i work in Ellesmere Port
I got to Tankers at 17.22 just before closing and was immediately told they close for orders at 4pm,i told her i spoke to someone at the shop and they never called back and she said go to see Rob in lighting
THANK GOD ROB WAS THERE
He apologised for not calling back and was amazing
Unfortunately it was now just after 5.30pm and i ran to the til to be met by a stone faced long blonde hair woman with a north east accent who was horrible as i was now causing her to stay a few minutes after closure
She stomped around making the situation really awkward and only for ROB turning up again at the till i think i would have lost the plot
I said I didn’t receive a code and she said that’s because one was never sent so i had to run to my car to get my laptop to get the code causing another few minute delay and more face pulling from the staff member
Really appalling attitude especially As i was the one who had been inconvenienced all day
I would have left a zero star review only for ROB
Mr Tasker you need more ROBS and less of the staff who really do not care if you make money or lose money and have no customer service skills
I rarely leave reviews but needed to share my experience as i own my own business and need good honest feedback

Purchased garden furniture in store, brilliant helpful staff. Easy to order and super fast delivery with great communication. Furniture arrived as expected, great quality. Highly recommended.

I recently purchased a king size mattress. There were a couple in stock to choose from (others had a 6 week lead time) which were of good quality at a reasonable price. The guy in store was very knowledgeable. Had it delivered by the next weekend. The 2 delivery men were really efficient. Upstairs and on the bed in about 5 mins. Would definitely recommend.
