The seamless transport delicious food, and cozy lodges made the trip stress-free and enjoyable. Six weeks flew by too quickly, and I can't wait to explore with Tanzaniatribesafari!

Tanzania Tribe Safari were beyond brilliant! From our first contact with their Arusha based manager, Devina, everything went smoothly. We were personally escorted to and from pick up and drop off destinations. Met our incredible guides, Victor and Dan prior to hikes and the porters, cooks and 'waiters' were friendly, helpful, informative professional and dedicated to making our trip incredible.
As we had never done high altitude climbing before, we chose to do the 4 day Mt Meru trek prior to the 8 day Lemosho Route to Kili, which we could not recommend high enough! The scenery, landscape and wildlife were spectacular- the views of Kilimanjaro were unbeatable from many different view points along the hike. There was so much food as well on both hikes! Hot cooked breakfast, lunch and dinners- 2 courses and sometimes 3! Snacks for the hiking during the day as well. Our health and safety was their number one priority and going 'pole pole' ( slowly slowly) was a must to help acclimatise. The experience of the guides meant that not only did we summit successfully we timed it so we missed the crowds and had the summit to ourselves for incredible photos!
Then we went on a 10 day safari with yet another incredible guide Iddy! Once again we met Iddy the day before heading off to make sure all our questions were answered. Iddy asked us what our expectations were and our goals for the Safari, so he could help us achieve them; as best as nature would allow! We visited Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and travelled from South, East then North Serengeti. His experience showed as he chose routes to avoid huge crowds (high season), whilst still knowing where to find all the Big 5 plus more. Numerous times we were privy to the best views of leopard cubs, baby hippos, crocodiles, cheetah hidden in the shade of an acacia tree, a pride of lions eating their kill, elephants, hyenas and vultures and also spotting the rare black rhino. But the highlight was definitely being fortunate enough to see the migrating wildebeest cross the Mara River- literally right in front of the bonnet of our jeep!
