Konzept wäre genial.
Ware bestellt, lange Lieferzeit und obwohl ich die Grössentabelle gut studiert habe und meine übliche grösse die bestens passt angegeben habe, pass ich kaum in die gelieferte Jacke.
Umtausch nicht möglich da in Chinaproduziert und wegen den Tariffstreit - so die Antwort von TAFTAC!
REFUND - Nein dafür ein Rabatt Code für eine neue Jacke.

Grundsätzlich ein tolles Produkt!
Nur:
Die grosse Tasche sollte links und rechts vorhanden sein da es sonst ein Ungleichgewicht gibt!
Für 0815 Kugelschreiber wird's schwierig!
Plus die Kabelführung scheint etwas willkürlich zu sein und vor allem kommt seit neustem das Kabel in der Rückwärtigen Tasche in den weg ich gehe davon aus das dies sich schon gelöst hat!
Auch schade das es nur schwarz und olive grün gibt, ein Navy blau wäre noch cool!
Für TAFTAC 3.0 wäre es cool NavyBlau zu bekommen, eine Tasche rechts wie links und was auch noch cool wäre wenn es zum Beispiel auf den Schulter Solar Panels gäbe würde zum Laden. Waschen kann man das Ding eh nicht in der Maschine, das wäre dann das Ultima Produkt!

Purchased Darkheat 2.0 bundle.
Let me break it down for you:
- Product is good in concept and so far looks good in quality.
- After sales service does not exist.

My experience:
- Purchased jacket following their size chart. Jacket arrived but the size did not fit me. My size didn’t change so the chart or the actual product might be off. This is inconvenient but it’s ok, things that can happen.
- Emailed company for return. First email was on 16th December 2024. Till today, 17th January 2025, I never received a reply. There were times when I sent them reminders every day but I still didn’t receive a reply till now. I tried sending follow-ups to my original email and also tried messaging them afresh from their website.
- Later I learned from Trustpilot that this experience is shared between a number of recent buyers.
- Website also has a countdown counter of 24 hours saying that company is going into liquidation. However when countdown reaches the end it just starts again. Someone be lured into rushing to buy anything.

I hope this helps anyone who is reading my post. It’s a pity because the concept and the product both seem great but it’s not acceptable to fork out over €500 or $500, receive a product you can’t wear and cannot exchange it as promised in their website and as is legally a right of the buyer.

They sent me a poor quality jacket that was not fitted according to their own measurement guide and then ignored all of my emails for a refund.

Never received jacket. Tracking shows item shipped in October, but no updates after that. No replies to my inquiries. Looks like I wasted a lot of money for the Darkwave2. Disappointing.

I received mine V2 jacket and need customer support because of the sizing.
However after weeks since initial contact ( or at least I try to)
Still no response! And I am not the only one who doesn't get any response about a size exchange

Very happy with their latest V2 Jacket. I started with their first V1, and while it was good, there were some things that needed improvement. And O did they improve on V2! The workmanship is a lot better. The added heating system works wonders and the new pocket system is amazing. The new magnet system is much more dependable and locks securely on its placements.

The product didn’t live up to expectations because of quality and delivery issues, and there’s no real info on the team behind it. This points to a need for better quality checks and clearer communication to make sure customers know what they’re getting. I truly believe this product is a scam. A very well thought out- and poorly executed scam. The fact that the lead “engineers, designers, etc” listed on the website behind this jacket, cannot be found on google raises red flags.

The jacket is plasticy in case you are thinking it will be a Fjallraven with a lot of pockets
But shoddy company as the extension was not lined up at all and they agreed it was faulty but stopped answering emails when I wanted a refund just for the extension
I'd prefer a refund for the whole jacket

The magnets on the front don't match with each other, so the front flip won't stay closed.
The zip for the extension are longer then the one on the jacket, so the don't fit.
I tried to write to their support, sending pictures and videos of the problems, but after a first quick response they never answered anymore.
Also the review on their site are fake, mine was never published.
Don't trust them!

This jacket exceeded my expectations in terms of stretchiness and comfort. When I wore it for the first time, I poured water on it to test its water resistance, and it rolled right off. What’s more, it allowed me to stretch in places that my other jackets would never stretch, and bend and reach in places that would have torn any other jacket. The freedom of motion that this jacket provides is unparalleled by any regular coats. I am impressed with the performance. I loved it so much that I tried to order a second one in olive from the website but they are out of stock.

Normally I refrain from commenting on anything, but the experience that Taftac gave me made it impossible to not comment on their amazing products and service. My initial jacket was delivered to the wrong address because I forgot to update it when I moved. I was one of the original kickstarter backers so there was quite a delay from when I completed my survey until I got the jacket. Mainly because of other backers that did not complete their survey in time and held up production for everybody. (I’ve seen tens of messages and updates from Taftac urging the backers to complete the survey so they could reach the minimum order quantity and place the jackets in production). Taftac was completely willing to send me another jacket, even if their website policy said otherwise. When it has arrived, the product lived up to everything the company said. It was stretchy, lightweight, waterproof, breathable, and overall, incredibly comfortable. Whenever I wear the jackets, I receive nothing but compliments from everybody, so I bought another jacket from the website for my wife. This second one arrived in about 6 days even though the website says ‘preorder’ and there are a lot of disclaimers about delivery time. It’s a good thing this jacket is stain proof because everybody keeps wanting to touch it when I wear it.

I recently purchased the DarkHeat Jacket [preorder from the website not Kickstarter] and it arrived in about 12 days. I must say that I am thoroughly impressed. The jacket fits perfectly out of the box like a well tailored suit, which is rare for me as I have a hard time finding a jacket that fits just right on my athletic body. I didn't even have to take it to a tailor for any adjustments. The quality of the fabric is top-notch and the fit is impeccable.

In addition to the Jacket, I also received a free pair of Alpha Touchscreen Gloves which have received multiple compliments whenever I wear them. My only complaint with the DarkHeat Jacket is that you can buy it in any color you want, as long as that color is black. I would also love to have some matching DarkHeat pants or even some water repellent shirts to complete the look. Overall, I highly recommend the DarkHeat Jacket to anyone in need of a high-quality, elegant and perfectly fitting waterproof jacket.

The jacket is amazing, fits perfectly and is insanely comfortable and very stretchy. It feels like the yoga pants of jackets. I recommended to all my friends and received multiple compliments about it.

I backed there project and waited a long long time ended up moving so I changed my address before they sent it and it got sent to my old place and customer support hasn't done or even tried to help as well as saying oh we made a mistake here buy more from us. Wasted 300$ on this product take my advice don't buy from here

This company is a scam. They’re the most unprofessional “company” I’ve ever had the displeasure of purchasing from. I bought my jacket a year ago, and still have not received it! They don’t respond to my multiple emails. If you check the comments on their kickstarter page, 99% of the people are either complaining that they have not received their products OR they have received them and they’re very low quality. There’s absolutely no way to contact anyone from the company, except for 1 email address and as I mentioned earlier, they don’t ever write back. What’s ever weirder about this brand is If you try to google the names of the “founders” you’ll see that they don’t even exist!! I also find it odd that the first 2 reviews on here gave them 5 stars- they are literally the first positive reviews I’ve seen about this company. Anyone who’s reading this - find their kickstarter page and read the comments. That will tell you all you need to know.

Backed their recent DarkHeat Tactical Instinct Outerview jacket. The jacket's front zipper (and bottom extension zipper) is made out of plastic and broke quickly, to say the least of the jacket. The gloves were also very low quality for the price.
This is happening to more backer, there are no exchanges/help offered nor updates yet. Very disappointed.

I have been a Moncler fan all my life but I must confess that this jacket feels somehow more premium, and it certainly turns more heads.

I received my DarkHeat jacket a while back and it is fantastic! The function, design, and craftsmanship are all top-notch. I was a backer in over 10 Kickstarter projects and this was by far the closest to "delivered as advertised" I ever got.
