Bad option and Very high price .
You have to wait many days if you request a repair or delivery of a new bicycle to your home. Many times I go to the store for a new bike and the one they give me already has defects or damage. And it's very expensive, 25 euros for these bikes that are already getting old.

Bike picked up was unsafe
I was quite excited to pick up the bike. Half way on my home with the bike from the store on the day I picked up the bike, the handlebars became very loose where I could not ride the bike. The handlebars were tending to drop downwards where the handles were facing down towards the ground. I nearly crashed into a set of bikes as the handlebars were loose. It became unsafe to ride the bike. I had to walk back home with the bike. I asked to cancel the subscription the same very day as I had a very bad experience and felt unsafe on the bike. I also attached a picture of the handlebars. I was given only two options. First option was to walk the bike back to the store and be charged the full subscription fee for cancelling the subscription even though I received the bike with loose handlebars which made the bike unsafe to begin with. The second choice was to get another bike and return it within 14 days if not happy (and be charged the full subscription fee and pro rata for the days I have the new bike). I chose the second option because I will return the new bike by riding it back to the store before the 14 day period as I have no other means of getting the bike to the store as I do not live close to the store. I will be charged now for all of this but I found this very inconvenient for an unsafe bike that was given to me to begin with (and now being charged for it). Once I return the bike, I will not be taking another swapfiets again.

Toch maar geen swapfiets voor mij
Zo'n slechte ervaring dat ik na een week van afgezegde afspraken, een fiets met mankementen, er maar helemaal van af heb gezien. Geen swapfiets voor mij. Wel complimenten aan de vriendelijkheid en servicegerichtheid van de bezorger en de klantenservice in whatsapp.

Very poor service. My bicycle keeps breaking down, and I have to travel 40 km by train every week just to replace it. I pay for a service, but I’m the one constantly dealing with the problems.

This is the second year in a row that I’ve rented a bike from Swapfiets. After my nearly perfect experience last year—quick, easy service and a really good bike—I had high expectations this time around.

Zeer slechte service
Wij hebben een abonnement bij Swapfiets en betalen hiervoor €60,00 per maand. De fiets is inmiddels al meer dan vier weken niet bruikbaar. In deze periode zijn er maar liefst zes afspraken gemaakt om de fiets te repareren of te vervangen, maar iedere afspraak is op het laatste moment door Swapfiets geannuleerd.
Wanneer we hierover contact opnemen, krijgen we alleen te horen: “Ja, excuses, we kunnen er helaas niks aan doen. We kunnen alleen een nieuwe afspraak inplannen, maar we kunnen niet toezeggen dat die wel doorgaat.”
Echt ontzettend slechte service. Je betaalt €60 per maand voor een fiets waar je vervolgens al meer dan vier weken geen gebruik van kunt maken, terwijl afspraken steeds worden geannuleerd. Dit is absoluut niet de service die je van een betaald abonnement mag verwachten.

Ik heb me fiets heel makkelijk…
Ik heb me fiets heel makkelijk gekregen. Maar reparatie aanvragen is echt een drama. Ze komen niet aan huis voor reparatie en moet ik zelf uitzoeken hoe ik mijn fiets breng naar een verre plek. Ook als ik mijn abonnement wil beindigen moet ik de fiets zelf brengen naar de winkel. Voor mij is dat geen goede ervaring met swapfiets en zal ik ook nooit meer een fiets huren.

Bedankt voor je review. Jammer om te horen dat het aanvragen van een reparatie en het opzeggen van je abonnement niet aan je verwachtingen hebben voldaan.
Onze reparaties aan huis zijn alleen beschikbaar binnen ons vastgestelde servicegebied. Daarnaast kijken we per type reparatie of we dit op locatie kunnen uitvoeren, omdat we deze service op locatie moeten reserveren voor fietsen die echt niet meer kunnen rijden. Voor overige zaken of wanneer je buiten de zone woont, vragen we klanten inderdaad om naar een winkel te komen. Ook voor het definitief beëindigen van een abonnement is het ons beleid dat de fiets in de winkel wordt ingeleverd.
We nemen je ervaring intern mee om onze dienstverlening te evalueren. Mocht je hier in de toekomst nog vragen over hebben, dan kun je altijd contact opnemen met onze klantenservice.
