As a first time customer using Sure Thing! I have to say I enjoyed the experience of purchasing my new car insurance from them. The questions were clear and methodical and I didn't find any part of the process difficult. I would certainty recommend trying them.

The advisers I spoke to on the phone were very helpful, the ones who continued to email me threatening to cancel my car insurance, not so much!

Seem OK overall. I had my first non fault claim last year it happened about 3 weeks before my renewal and because it was an open claim at that point it put my new quote up about £140 i raised this with Sure Thing & the underwriter (Covea) and said will i get this back when its verified no fault on my part. They both agreed i should do. Got the letter confirming no fault accident but never got the extra cost of my insurance back. That said the claim was handled pretty well and i was paid out quickly for my written off car. That's insurance i suppose!!

Phoned in our final 2 months of policy (entire year paid in full) to change vehicles, customer service lady was rude but could not change vehicles. As cancelling would have incurred charges said to let it run out and not renew. Two months later, no renewal letters or emails and they’re taking money out of our account for a vehicle we no longer own. They’re changing names to policy expert, DO NOT insure with them. 1st central are cheaper and far better all round
