Stove Installer Arvostelua

David did an amazing job fitting our log burner. He gave us several options to choose from, arrived promptly, and completed a clean and tidy installation with no dust left behind. We’re very happy with the result, and the log burner we chose looks perfect with our existing fireplace.

David absolutely never disappoints! He just installed a 4th stove for me (i seem to move house and require a stove a lot) and I wouldn’t dream of using anyone else.
David and John were immaculate from start to finish. Quote and pre install questions answered rapidly and fully informative. They arrived promptly each day, worked long days and were so respectful and protective of my house and furniture.
Most recently they also had to deal with other tradesmen on site and did so without a grumble.

The latest stove and tiled chamber look better than ever and have provided much needed joy in the chaos.

Thanks David and John, do not hesitate to use this team.

Excellent work by David and John to install a chimney liner for us. We would certainly recommend them.

I can't express how excellent my experience of west midland stove installers
Prompt easy experience did everything they promised and more
I would particularly like to mention Adam and chase the installers
Worked effectively in sweltering heat and couldn't do anything more to help
Happy friendly and the finished job was perfect Adam did some plaster work and it was far better than any plastering I've had done before
Chase was climbing on the roof as if it was nothing
I would recommend this company in a heartbeat and most down to the fitters work

We had our wood burner fitted by David back in March and we honestly couldn’t be happier with it.

We didn’t really know where to start, but David made the whole process so much easier. From the first visit he took the time to explain everything, answer all our questions (there were quite a few!) and gave us loads of helpful advice without ever making us feel pressured.

The quality of the work is brilliant. You can tell David really cares about doing a proper job and pay attention to all the little details. David and John turned up when they said they would, kept everything as tidy as possible, and the finished result looks fantastic.

If you’re thinking about getting a wood burner, here are a few things you may find helpful:

Where do you start?
Find someone who knows their stuff and is happy to talk you through the options. We were completely new to it all, and having someone explain things properly made all the difference.

Is it messy?
It is a bit messy, so you should expect to do some cleaning afterwards, but David and John took extra care to keep the dust and dirt contained to one room. That made a huge difference and meant the rest of the house stayed pretty much untouched.

Will you need to decorate afterwards?
Possibly a little, depending on your room, but we didn’t have anywhere near as much to do as we expected. David was also able to decorate behind the stove prior to the final fit, which was a great bonus. Because the work was done so neatly and the mess was kept so well contained, there wasn’t much to sort out afterwards.

Is it expensive?
It’s definitely an investment, but there are different stove options available, so David can help you find something that works with your budget. It’s not something you want cutting corners on, but you don’t necessarily have to go for the most expensive option either.

If you’re looking for someone to fit a wood burner, we’d happily recommend David. Great workmanship, really professional, friendly, and nothing was ever too much trouble. We’re so pleased with ours and wish we’d had it done years ago!

I recently had a new wood burner installed by David from The Stove Installer, and I’m absolutely delighted with the result.
David’s workmanship was excellent from start to finish. He worked very neatly and kept everything clean and tidy throughout the job, which made a big difference. The finished installation looks fantastic — it’s clear he takes real pride in what he does.
This is actually the third time I’ve used David over the years, and the quality of his work has been consistently outstanding every time. He’s reliable, professional, and always delivers a high standard.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a stove installer.

Ultimate professional! David and team were great communicators from start to finish, reasonable priced, but more importantly quality workers and cleaned up after themselves! If you want quality, David is your man!

David did a brilliant job replacing an existing fireplace with a stove including fitting an external chimney. Gave great advice at the start and all the way through for the best solution with the space. Also gave a detailed list of work needed and prices. Can't believe there's anyone out there who knows more about fireplaces than David and a great guy to deal with.

This is our second time working with David, his knowledge and experience really shines through and his attention to detail is exceptional. We went for quite a niche unique look for our stove and he went out of his way to accommodate our needs and also was really surprised how quickly he was able to book us in for the job. David and his teammate really work hard to execute a seamless finish. He is SO tidy too which is a bonus! Thanks so much David, hope we can work with you again!

Stove fitted in the back room. David a total professional, efficient, clean and above all top quality work done.
Allied to this, great communication and always on time. Would recommend to everyone.

David assessed the project, gave us invaluable advice at every stage, and provided a very detailed and itemised quotation. John did a really great job on the chimney stack. The job got more complex as the original brick fireplace and back boiler pipework were uncovered. David dealt with it all. We chose tiles for the hearth and his attention to detail was fantastic. The finished fireplace is above and beyond expectation. We highly recommend David and the team.

David came around and looked at the fireplace and gave us tones of different options to choose from. Allows us to keep the original brick in the fireplace, something no one else offered. The work was carried out over 3 days, David was professional throughout this period. Keep it clean and tidy. He took incredible care in all the small detail which show how brilliant of a craftsman he is. Highly recommended.

We approach David and his team following a recommendation from our builder. They have done an amazing job building our false chimney and installing a log burner. David went above and beyond to source the materials to create the look we were after. We can’t recommend him highly enough.

Excellent service would recommend this company to anyone thinking of installing a stove.Thank you Chris for your help and advice

David has done a fantastic job! His attention to detail is excellent, and nothing was too much trouble. On top of that, he’s a really nice guy - reliable, professional and a pleasure to have around. Highly recommend!

David is an absolute gent. Clear communication and really flexible with us being a young couple on our first property and getting jobs sorted.

David after the first fix cleaned the floor to a point in which it probably has never been so clean! Really a seasoned pro who knows his business and takes pride in his work.

David’s team were friendly, helpful and all great guys too.

Could not recommend David O’Brien more. We’re delighted with the finished result.

I would highly recommend David's expertise if you are considering having any work done fireplaces. David very kindly came out to look at the work a couple of times before finalising the details of the job. Once he started the work, with the help of his colleague John, they worked tirelessly and meticulously remodelling the opening, fitting the hearth and surround, lining the chimney and fitting the stove. The finished hearth/surround/stove exceeds our expectations and we are very grateful to David and John for finishing it to such a high level. We were extremely impressed by the methodical and organised way in which the work was carried out and can warmly recommend David's workmanship. Thanks very much and see you soon for the other fireplace. Chris

David was excellent from start to finish. Great work ethic, attention to detail and a wonderful job done. This is the second time we have used David and would not hesitate to recommend and use him in the future. If only all workmen were like this! Thank you very much.

David was great from start to finish.
Excellent communication, detailed quote and undertook all the work that was required.
He was prompt, neat and tidy and the finish is fantastic. He gave us all the information we wanted. We could not have been more pleased. Thank you!

David was recommended to me by a friend for installation of a wood burner. His quotation was very detailed giving us several options, separately priced.
He was very helpful in answering my queries prior to the installation. We had a wood burner installed, reopening and lining the fireplace ( previously an enclosed open fire), a new slate hearth and refitting the wooden oak mantelpiece and surround we already had. David was very thorough in preparation and protecting carpets etc and clearing up on completion. He was meticulous in his work and we are very pleased with the installation
I would thoroughly recommend David
