Avoid if you do not wish for your child to starve
After my recent experience with their Brighton nursery, Blueberry, I feel like I need to warn others not to be tricked by their outstanding Ofsted rating as it was gained before the nursery was acquired by Storal.
The nursery lacks organisation with 0 processes in place for onboarding new families. Information scatted everywhere from verbal communication, calls, random pieces of paper and e-mails.
That is, when they bother to respond as some times it takes up to 4 days for a response. Which is actually better than their app where you'd be lucky to get a response at all.
One of their selling points when attending a viewing is that fact their are using an app and you can be updated about your child's activities etc.
Sadly, they once again failed to deliver as they have been extremely inconsistent.
The team lacks accountability and when challenged for my starving child's they were offended instead of being conncerned and try to investigate further.
The managerial in house team is ignorant and is no surprise as the Storal managers I talked to, seem to be very eager to protect their distressed as they described them staff.
At a ratio of 4 to 1, the cheapest app with the worst interface ever, underpaid staff not fit for purpose and questionable facilities I would point you away from them as they should not be running a nursery.
Last but not least, as we have just moved to Brighton and we are keen to meet more parents, when asked for the parent Whats App run group, they said they are not involved (fair enough) but most importantly that 'we don't like it due to people's opinions sometimes'.
A business that is afraid to build a community of their customers is a business that needs to be avoided.
