StepsWeb Arvostelua 

My year group has been using stepsweb for about a year. Unfortunately, my experiences weren't great.

For a start, the activities are incredibly monotonous and boring with breaks few and far between. I don't really find enjoyment in these and more so frustration as the activities either require some tedious touchpad mechanic or some buggy or unforgiving spelling thing, this is especially time consuming primarily with the touchpad using exercises which can take like 7-8 minutes.

Also these sentence/word builder thingies can be very buggy and can have me restart the whole activity halfway through!
A good example of this would be having to spell 'kilometer' which I get wrong for some strange reason or having a sentence with multiple ways of writing it with the word choices available.
these stressful bugs annoyance is only amplified by the amount of time the tasks take and the 60+ tasks I haven't time to complete

(Also, I'm not sure if this is the teacher's fault or the programme's fault but the words are ridiculously easy, like cmon I know how to spell 'space' [and I really dislike the AI gen pics for that boat minigame.])

Anyways, as a final part on this review, some simple ways you could make this app way better is by making more engaging activities and, please! make some quality-of-life updates for us touchpad users so we don't get carpal tunnel from dragging and clicking so much.

I hope you can make the app better and that i didn't sound overly pessimistic.

Wasn't suited to my kids; arbitrary rules meant they both found it unfair.
May be better suited to NT kids.

So so bad i know is good unlike ixl but is so demanding it expects you to do 12 lessons a week i know that dosent sound like a lot but are quite hard (btw this one of my good reveiws if you want to see a bad one go to ixl and serch stay away from ixl)

It is super easy to buy more licences.

It’s great my step son has had some difficulties with grammar and it has helped him a lot. It is also improving his spelling, paired with the work book it’s easy for him to practice before applying what he’s learnt towards the workbook .I can wait to see his progress while he is doing the program .

Our school is enjoying using the steps web. The students are showing great improvement.
