Excellent one off clean
We were given a fixed quote after a visit to assess what needed doing.
The team arrived promptly and did an amazing job with cleaning the home of a recently deceased relative ready for sale. The house was tired and grubby but was left looking good (including spectacular results with cleaning a badly stained carpet).
Communication was excellent throughout.

The cleaning was ok but rest of work very poor
The cleaning was ok but lots of problems , firstly the payments for the services was a nightmare I ended up paying 2.5 times the costs and had to get repayments of 1.5 costs , it was agreed before not to enter my bedroom as part of the cleaning for privacy reasons , I even spoke to one of the team the day before and they agreed then that they would not enter the bedroom . I even put a sign on the door and some tape . but they entered the room , unless they just took the tape of for some fun .
I was informed nothing would be put outside the house and that things would be in bags inside the property but bags were placed outside . I looked through the bags outside thoroughly and found 3 of my Books, my service record for my car and 2 Dyson Vacuum cleaning parts for my Dyson Hoover . The bags were filled with so much stuff I hurt my back lifting them ..And they left the back door to the conservatory unlocked ,that’s two locks .

Dear Julian ,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We take all comments seriously and would like to clarify a few points to ensure the situation is accurately understood.
Payment Process: The full payment for the service was received one day before the clean, as agreed. Two additional payments were later made from your side 1 days after the clean. These were not requested by us and were promptly refunded. There was no error or delay on our side regarding payments.
Bedroom Access & Privacy: Our team strictly followed the instructions not to enter your bedroom or any other private rooms. The tape and sign on the door were only removed to clean around the front door area, not to access any private room. No personal spaces were entered.
Rubbish and Personal Items: Before starting the job, it was clearly discussed and agreed that rubbish would be placed in bin bags outside, while any personal or non-rubbish items would be placed inside the property in bags for you to sort. This procedure was followed. If any personal items were accidentally mixed with rubbish, we sincerely apologise — that was certainly not intentional.
Conservatory Door: Our team did not enter the conservatory or unlock any doors. We only worked in the rooms specified by the social worker coordinator and ensured doors were left as found.
We always aim to carry out our work respectfully and according to the client’s and social worker’s instructions. We are sorry that you feel disappointed, but we wish to reassure you that our team acted professionally and followed the agreed plan at all times.
If you would like to discuss this further, we are more than happy to talk and resolve any concerns.
A Local Gem — Flexible, Friendly, and Flawless Results
After spending ages looking for cleaners, I’m so glad I went with Stella’s Cleaning Services. They’re a local team, not a big, rigid company — and that really shows in the care and flexibility they bring to their work. Their attention to detail is incredible; every surface is spotless and the stainless steel always sparkles! They’re also friendly, communicative, and genuinely take pride in what they do. It’s such a relief knowing I can rely on them to keep everything looking perfect. Highly recommend!
