Terrible delivery service
Terrible delivery service. Ordered a bed from ‘stay in bed’ - the delivery company they use only deliver to my post code once per week on a Monday (does not tell you this when you make the order) do not work weekends and do not work bank holidays, plus only give a time slot of 7am to 4pm. I couldn’t do the first Monday slot they had due to work commitments and the second was a bank holiday, which they do not work. The third Monday they offered I could do but as this was 2 weeks later than the initial date they had available I had to pay an extra £180 in storage costs, even though the second Monday was a bank holiday and so no fault of mine that they couldn’t do that date. Buyers beware, the delivery company are awful !!!!

Hi Sarah,
Thank you for your review. We're genuinely sorry to hear you were disappointed with the delivery process and have left your review before receiving your sofabed.
We contacted our delivery partners for further information on the issues you've rasied.
We’d like to clarify that your order arrived into stock on the 6th of May, and from that point, our delivery partners made several attempts to contact you—via text, voicemail, and email—to arrange a suitable delivery date (they sent screenshots of the attempts for emails and text messages) Unfortunately, they did not receive a response until a message was sent regarding storage charges.
After contact was made, delivery was offered for both the 19th and 28th of May (which is the Wednesday after the bank holiday), and your current delivery is now scheduled for the earliest available date after that—Monday, 2nd June.
As the order arrived within our stated lead times, we would have expected delivery to be anticipated around this period. That said, we understand that limited delivery windows can be frustrating in certain postcodes. The day before your scheduled delivery, our delivery partners will send you a message with a delivery time window and can also call before arrival if required.
We usually get fantastic feedback about our delivery partners and the service they offer, it has been mentioned in most of our reviews, and we are sorry to hear that this has not been the case for you.
Excellent quality sofa
Excellent quality sofa, very comfortable to use. Fabric is nice although is a bit of a dust magnet so requires constant hoovering with handheld Hoover. Would have preferred more dark colour options in the same fabric. Mechanism easy to use & loads of storage. Would be great if they did a fitted sheet to match sofa when using as a bed. All in all I would highly recommend it's a fantastic sofa.

Easy to order and quality product
Easy to order, great that they send all fabric swatches for free. Sofa is slightly more tall and firmer than expected, so it may seem that when you're laid back your feet might not touch the ground. But overall an incredbile quality, i have never seen such a superb finish to to all stitches. and the velvet material is amazingly soft. One downside is you cannot control much when it gets delivered, you do get the option to speak with the delivery company, but I am lucky that I work from home and am available, but not sure otherwise how it would work.

Beautiful and comfortable sofa
Beautiful and comfortable sofa!
The burnt orange velvet is stunning, and has withstood crumbs and kids very well over the last couple of months. Whilst a bit more on the sturdy side, it's very comfortable nonetheless and the sofa bed is a dream. Delivery was friendly and swift, and the assembly service was great.
The team were also very accommodating when we asked to go and have a look at one of the sofas in their warehouse in Leicestershire, as I didn't feel comfortable spending this amount on a sofa without having seen and tested it. I can confirm that these sofas are definitely worth the money!

Wonderful service. Fab customer service. Admittedly took a risk buying a sofa online and without seeing it or sitting on it but it's truly wonderful! We went for the Greyson in beige and it's great! Would recommend and buy from again.

I absolutely love my Bertie 3-seater sofa bed! I took a chance ordering it without trying it first, and I’m so glad I did. It’s incredibly comfortable, and transforming it into a bed is so smooth and easy. Delivery was brilliant!!
It’s a bit on the firm side, but still incredibly comfortable. I have ongoing back issues and often struggle with pain, but I find this sofa bed really supportive. I’m planning to get a mattress topper as well, just to protect it and add an extra layer of comfort.

Bought my bed before Christmas. I have a sore back since. Very hard. Nothing like what you read on here. All lies!

I have tried topper but still no good. It’s not a bed you want to stay in at all.

Hello Antony,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing discomfort with your bed. We understand that comfort is very subjective, and what works for one person may not work for another. That's why we offer a 30-day return policy, which gives our customers the opportunity to return the bed if it doesn’t meet their expectations. We communicated this through our initial interactions after you took delivery and via social media some weeks later, therefore we are somewhat perplexed as to why you chose to keep the sofa when we had given you the opportunity to return it on more than one occasion.
Unfortunately, we did need to block you on social media due to comments where you accused our other customers of being dishonest about their positive experiences with the bed. We strive to create a positive and respectful environment for everyone, and we take such matters seriously.
StayinBed sofabed
I came across StayinBed on Google. It looked very nice but I was unsure and worried to take the risk ordering it without testing. But my gut was right, this is the best sofa bed I could ask for. It is absolutely fantastic.
It's solid, firm, very comfortable, and the velvet material is a dream for a clamsy person like me because it's anti-stain and washable without loosing on a luxury look.
Also the delivery was super smooth, the guys came and fit it without 10 mins. I highly recommend it.
Thank you StayinBed, you have a very happy customer 😀

Gorgeous sofa, super comfortable, efficient service
Came across stayinbed on IG and after a bit of research, decided to risk ordering without having tested it and best decision ever! We were looking specifically for a L-sofabed, we got the Grayson in midnight ivy. The sofa itself is really comfortable (it’s our main living room sofa) and the sofabed is really easy to pull out. The
service was excellent - exactly on time, the guys came and assembled it where we wanted it. Super happy with our purchase and would recommend!!

Perfect corner sofa bed
I spent a long time looking for the ideal corner sofa bed that can actually be used as a bed and doesn’t have one of those flimsy folding mattresses on a metal frame. In the end it was between this one from Stay in Bed, and two others, but overall this one seemed the most comfortable and practical, given the available storage. We live in a small house so space is quite scarce. So when I saw that this sofa is relatively compact when closed and it keeps within a small footprint when open, all while offering the same space as a king sized bed, I was sold!
Delivery was perfect and we got to test the sofa as a bed a few times afterwards. Every guest we had was pleased with the comfort it offered and needless to say it was better than the airbeds we were previously using. We’re very happy with it!

They have been fantastic from the order, to an enquiry I had, through to delivery. They booked a delivery slot which worked around the school runs!
The quality and mechanism of the bed as well as communication is first class!
Also the sofa bed is large and king size vs most being doubles! We went with the 4 seater. So pleasant to deal with a professional company- a rare experience these days! Thanks so much!!
