The experience with Stay in Bed was exceptional from start to finish! After receiving the standard fabric samples and not finding one that was quite to my taste, I emailed Stay in Bed to ask about custom options, they were so helpful, they asked questions to really understand what I was looking for, they were happy to consult my 'inspo picks' and they sent me out a new batch of more than 15 fabric samples that could suit my request. Once I'd received the samples and chosen my fabric, I decided to take a trip to their office/display room, the service arranging the appointment was friendly and helpful, and once I arrived it was such a great experience, they gave me all the info I needed in such a relaxed, friendly and open way, I didn't feel any pressure to order, but came away very confident that I would be ordering! Once ordered, communication on order status and delivery was great, I was able to arrange a day to deliver that worked for me (around 8 weeks after ordering). The delivery team were polite and fast, and had the sofa assembled in the room in no time! And finally, the sofa is very comfortable! It is firmer, which is to be expected for a sofa bed, but it is very comfy, feels more like sitting on a good mattress rather than a squishy sofa. The mechanism to open up into a bed takes seconds, and the built in storage is perfect for the extra set of bedding. Very happy with the service and the sofa, would certainly recommend!

I bought a Hugo 3 seater sofa bed in February. The communication was excellent and the item arrived within the promised time. The sofa is quite firm to sit on, but it has been used twice by guests as a bed and both have praised the comfort.

Superb quality sofa-bed - very happy with the purchase. We bought the Bertie 4 seater sofa-bed in dark fuschia. It was one of the bigger (width and length) ones we could find - enough to be considered a proper double bed that’s can handle big people. The fold in and out mechanism couldn’t be easier - so much easier than other ones I’ve encountered in the past that fold in and out in stages with legs that need separate manipulation from the main bed itself and feels like you could lose a finger if you aren’t concentrating - I can’t believe there aren’t more sofa-beds using this mechanism. I fully trust my children to fold it in and out as there really is no danger/complexity there. And it looks like a very sturdy folding mechanism as well. The sofa itself is very comfortable, and the bed is about as comfortable as a sofa-bed is going to be (so maybe slightly firm). A big positive is there is no noise when you roll over when lying on it that you would get with others. The material is super soft and pleasing to the touch - an unexpected bonus. The colour is lovely. And the cushions all work nicely in fitting into the spaces created when then bed is opened out. It’s a very well thought through product.

Customer service was excellent, and delivery arrived on time, and the delivery company were nice and constructed on site. It was no bother to them that we got them to construct it on our fourth floor where the spare room is. The product was effectively made from the point of order, so takes a bit of time to be completed, but they tell you this, and it’s completely worth the wait.

Price-wise, I remember thinking I could find cheaper sofa-beds, but I didn’t feel it was overly expensive, and now my main impression is I’ve paid a decent price for a high quality product, so very pleasing.

In summary, a very pleasing high quality product that has surprised me and made me feel I made a very good purchase for the money I spent. And it’s the best sofa-bed I’ve ever interacted with.

I’m delighted with my new Oscar sofabed from Stay In Bed. I was initially a little apprehensive as I had only seen it online, but after purchasing it I travelled to Leicester for work and arranged to view it at the warehouse. The lighting wasn’t great and I was slightly disappointed with the Cashmere Cream colour I saw there. However, when it arrived at home, it looked beautiful — the colour was completely different in the natural light, and I’m very happy with my choice.

The customer service throughout was outstanding: helpful, responsive and professional. Delivery was prompt, and the delivery team were friendly, helpful and efficient.

The sofabed itself is excellent. The upholstery and workmanship are both high quality, and I find it genuinely comfortable as both a sofa and a bed. I’ve had guests stay and have slept on it myself, and it has been very comfortable. I also noticed some reviews describing the sofa as being too firm, but I actually really like the firmness. I find it comfortable and supportive, and I much prefer it to a sofa that you sink into.

It’s also incredibly easy to pull out and put away, which makes it very practical for everyday use.

I can’t comment on long-term durability yet, but so far I’m extremely happy with the quality, comfort and overall experience. I would highly recommend Stay In Bed.

Simple to order, great communication and a fantastic sofa bed! Delivery was on time and the guys worked well; putting the sofa together in minutes. I am so impressed with how comfortable the sofa and the bed is. It’s well made and looks fantastic. Perfect! The fitted sheet from Stay in Bed is also great quality.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Absolutely love this sofa bed! It was easy to assemble, looks stylish, and feels much more comfortable than I expected. It works perfectly as both a sofa and a bed, making it ideal for guests or smaller spaces. The quality is excellent for the price, and the fabric feels durable. I’ve had several compliments on it already. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a practical and great-looking sofa bed!

We were able to order the sofa bed easily, with a great website that showed exactly how the sofa bed would look. I really liked how you could change the colour of the sofa, on the web page so easily, rather than seeing a beige example and having to imagine it in the colour way you want. Signing up for the interest free payments was also incredibly easy.

I had a couple of questions before ordering which were replied to so quickly and then through out the waiting time (after I’d ordered) any queries were met with the same polite, quick response.

Our sofa bed arrived on Thursday. (About 8 weeks after ordering). It was delivered in sections (so easily came into the house) and then was assembled on site. It took about 10 minutes for this process.
The delivery people showed us how to convert the sofa bed.

The sofa is so comfortable, I read reviews saying it was too firm, but I think it’s perfect. It’s deep as well, so you can relax on it easily. We ordered a Grayson in deep amber velvet. The colour is rich and beautiful. The fabric is thick, high end and soft against skin. Changing from sofa to bed is so easy and there is so much storage under the chaise and seats that you can store bedding etc for guests incredibly easily. The sofa looks modern and luxurious. So pleased we ordered from Stay in Bed

Part of the sofa faulty, replaced after a long wait with even worst part. Still awaiting for a new replacement of the replacement. Customers service absolutely awful. Rang the number from email and person was on holidays. So unprofessional and it was so awkward as I felt I was bothering her while she should be off. Had a number of issues with DPD along they way that their did not dealt with it very well and by the end of it I was literally so exhausted and frustrated with the lack of trying to solve the problem that I had to distance myself from stay in bed. Oh and worth mentioning that after ordering sofa at the beginning of the year and receiving in April they told me in June that if I don’t like it they kindly can honour return for me even that it passed returned period. Absolutely joke. Still with faulty part and no word or update from customers service. Honestly don’t bother! Sofa seems great when everything is fine, any issues definitely in top 3 worst companies I’ve ever dealt with. Spend your money somewhere else.

Qualitative, minimalistic sofa bed
The design is simple, minimalistic, classic. The sofa bed is very good quality. We have guests sleeping on it who said is very comfortable. Delivery and installation prompt, very careful. We are content with the purchase.

Worth every £. This sofa is exactly what I needed, so simple to make up, incredibly comfortable for both sitting in and sleeping on and looks fabulous too! The service was fabulous both from StayInBed and the delivery company.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I am extremely pleased with my Stay In Bed French Rose Velvet 3-Seater Spencer Sofa and the overall purchasing experience. Customer service was excellent throughout the entire process. Responses were prompt during business hours, and the team was helpful and effective from before I placed my order right through to after delivery. The lead time was exactly as promised. I placed my order on 30 March and received the sofa on 28 May, well within the stated 9-week lead time. The delivery team was professional and efficient. The sofa arrived in perfect condition and was very well packaged. After unpacking, they removed all the plastic wrapping and packaging materials, leaving the area clean and tidy. I also appreciated that they asked to wash their hands after handling the packaging before installing the sofa, showing great attention to cleanliness and care. The one-touch opening mechanism is a standout feature. The gas-assisted system makes converting the sofa into a bed effortless, without requiring much strength. The French Rose velvet fabric is gorgeous and adds an elegant, luxurious feel to my living room. The deep pocket-sprung mattress is supportive and comfortable whether sitting or sleeping. I can barely feel any gaps between the sections, although a mattress topper would make it even more comfortable for overnight use. Overall, a beautiful, practical, and comfortable sofa bed, backed by excellent customer service and a professional delivery team. Highly recommended

My experience was good from the start! Free samples sent with so many colours to choose from. Delivery and set up was trouble free and the corner sofa I ordered is solid and great quality 10 out of 10!!

Super sofa bed
Bought for guests who say it is very comfortable. I use as a sofa and its extremely comfortable. Easy to put up as a bed xx delivery guys were great and assembled the sofa bed. Great buy would highly recommend

I did a lot of research about sofa beds before purchasing and I'm really pleased with my purchase from Stay in Bed. Ordering and delivery was very smooth. It's very comfortable and supportive as a sofa, and the bed option looks great, although we haven't had a chance to test it yet. It's of very good quality, and hoping that it lasts as long as our old one (20years+). There's also a great option to split payments across a few months, with no interest.

Service: Great, no complaints
Delivery: Great, love not needing to make it myself

As sofa beds go, I imagine this is a good quality one, particularly if you don't have cats.

I was taken in a bit by social media commentary that you could 'have it all' - a sofa bed that is both a great sofa and decent bed. In hindsight, it was my fault for believing this was possible. I feel like I paid >£2x the IKEA Vimle it replaced and got a less comfy, less robust sofa for it that serves as a good bed for the 3-4 occassions a year I have guests. If you genuinely need a sofa bed, don't let this review put you off. If like me you'd like the best of both worlds, I think that product doesn't exist. It is a good sofa - it is not a great one.

It also, within a couple of days, has evidence all over it of my cat's claws catchign the fabric from their stretching (they don't actively use it as a scratch post thank god, but it's already clear this fabric isn't going to last well).

Perfect sofabed.
Our Oscar sofabed is exactly what we wanted. Soft velvet in beige colour, king-size bed, so comfortable, lots of storage, all put together by the team and packaging removed. Perfect!

We love our Hugo cinema sofa/bed. It's both sturdy/well built AND super-comfy, it's the new go-to place for all our family to pile on and watch the TV. We were also impressed with the service - we had a few sizing and fabric sample queries pre-purchase which were answered promptly and fully and then we were kept up to date after ordering with delivery progress.

Really easy to order and once it was getting closer to the week I was due delivery they kept me informed of what sort of date I could expect delivery. The delivery company they use are also great and the guys who assembled it were lovely and did a great and quick job.

My husband and I recently purchased this bed for our daughter and son in law who had moved into a new home. My husband is 6-5 and regular sofabeds won’t accompany his frame. We did a lot of online research but could not lie on the bed to test it out. Based on stellar reviews and many sizes available, we decided on Stay in Bed. We have not yet slept on the bed but here’s a text I received from the first person who slept on it:

" Tell Ted that we loved his bed! That is the most comfortable foldaway bed that I’ve ever slept on, might have to get one for our new house!”

We can’t wait to experience it ourselves!

Sofa is firm to sit on but comfy & converting into a bed is quick, smooth & easy…plus additional storage area to pop cushions in or bedding. Our son has slept on it for the past couple of weeks & finds it spacious & comfortable…. It’s a good size dbl! I added a topper for extra softness. After a lot of research into sofabeds we are very happy with our purchase.
