I had a really great experience with SBK when moving from Hamburg, Germany, to Norrköping, Sweden. Moving your flat to another country can be quite a stressful experience, but SBK made the whole process remarkably smooth and easy.

What really stands out about SBK is the people. The teams at both the departure and arrival locations were great: professional, efficient, friendly, and genuinely pleasant to deal with. Their spirit and the way they handled everything made a big difference. I would especially like to mention Arvid, who managed the move out of Hamburg. He was incredibly positive, calm and solution-oriented throughout the whole process. Having someone like him taking care of things at such an important and stressful moment made the move feel so much easier.

Another fantastic thing about SBK is that they disassemble and reassemble major pieces of furniture. Arriving at your new home and having the team efficiently put your bed and other large pieces of furniture back together is honestly one of the best things that can happen after a long journey.

A big thank you to everyone at SBK, and especially to Arvid. I would wholeheartedly recommend SBK to anyone moving to or from Sweden.

I own a consumer device factory and online store and am soon moving back to Sweden and have about 24 pallets with very expensive *personal* lab/workshop equipment, tools and materials, approaching a quarter million EUR in value. Think electron microscope, CNC plasma cutter, industrial 3D printers and one of the best Electronics labs in the world. I paid everything myself - my company owns none of it.

When goods are moved into Sweden from an EU country, Swedish Customs wants to know whether or not the goods are of a commercial nature and whether they are indeed personal property. They will ask the owner for proof of purchase, invoices and bank transfers in case they have doubts. If the importer can prove they're personal goods, no VAT is due. If they belong to a company (my company, for ex.), VAT is due.

When I told Magnus Nyberg that I will provide them with a huge list of invoices as well as an inventory of the goods to prove VAT exemption, he said that was not required bec. Sweden is not allowed to check this or will never check this or will just believe me on my word etc. I've been doing our very complex corporate accounting and tax submissions as well as VAT administration for decades and have all the EU VAT rules pertaining cross-border moving of goods here and in spite of me explaining the need to be able to prove VAT-exempt status with cross-EU movement of goods, he kept claiming there is no such need and there will be no control whatsoever, no scanning, nothing. It's a total free-for-all, one can drive trucks full of stuff into Sweden and Sweden will never ask for documentation who owns it, where they came from, how new they are etc. They simply let all trucks and cars through that arrive via another EU country.

Afer many back-and-forth emails where he basically said I'm clueless about basic VAT rules and Swedish permissiveness, I told him I was happy I now know he's incompetent. I told him Sweden has VERY thorough Customs control and that I once was detained and my car thoroughly searched when entering Sweden via ferry (I'm Dutch and came from Denmark) he said that must have been "because of your bad attitude" and that he is glad he won't do business with "the kind of person like you"..

Jeezes Christ what an ego.. It's one thing to be ignorant of basic very important laws of your own country pertaining your core business but to then persist in claiming the customer is a complete idiot, even though part of my job as the owner of a trading/manufacturing company is to know the law, deal with import/export of large shipments into the EU and intra-EU all the time, do Customs clearance myself, used to do our VAT until it became too complex and now my business partner does it but still keeps me up-to-date as to the latest regulations, even though competitors of this company as well as Tullverket (Swedend Customs Tax Authorities) explain you really need to prove VAT-exemption status with purchase invoices, Mr. Nyberg turned it into an ego issue.

I qualify transpotation from a little village in Sweden, Timmernabben, to a big city, Madrid, in Spain with only one woord: Perfect!

We used SBK Moving for our relocation to Boston from Sweden in 2023, and again for our move back to Sweden this past summer. We cannot recommend this company, and especially our contact Magnus Nyberg, highly enough.
From start to finish, communication was efficient, clear, and responsive. Our contact understood our needs and preferences, and handled all the back-and-forth and uncertainties with professionalism and calm. During such a stressful life transition, that kind of support made a huge difference. We felt guided, understood, and safe throughout the entire process.
While the US partner companies did a decent job overall, communication on their end was lacking. Even then, Magnus stepped in immediately to ensure we got the information and support we needed.
The moving crew in Sweden did an excellent job on both occasions; professional, careful, and efficient.

We have used SBK two times now. The first time they arranged the move of our stuff from the UK to Sweden, including the packing. We then hired SBK again for a move within Sweden. Both times we have been very impressed by and pleased with the professional service and good communication. The moving guys helping us recently, Biser and Benjamin, were friendly and competent, and they made the move go smoothly. We would highly recommend this company!

Klockrent. Fick hjälp med att flytta bohaget från Barcelona till Skåne. Riktiga proffs, vet vad dom sysslar med. Trevlig bemötande vid beställningen -Felix, och även gubbarna som utförde uppdraget.Lämnade bara nycklar, dom tog hand om precis allt. Grejjerna kom fram på utsatt tid, välförpackade och inplastade. Blev verkligen imponerad. Ska jag flytta igen nångång så är det bara detta företaget som gäller

Totalt värdelöst bolag. Skickar två pulver utan bärselar,verktyg stegar mm. Kan ingenting utan man får hjälpa till med ditt å datt. Det var som "två snubbar" kom.(googla pat and mat)
Rekommenderas om man vill ha en revy i hemmet. Tydligen besvärar dom sig nu även att stoppa dålig kritik för att få bort det dåliga omdömet. En av Sveriges största auktionshus använde dom och dom skickade hit två pulver. Istället för att stoppa kritik kanske man borde se över sin egen verksamhet.

This company was responsible for the last leg of our move to Sweden. The crew was very professional and efficient. Everything was done per the original contract. Would recommend.

Transport of our car from Sweden to Spain. Contact with them worked like silk. Friendly and polite. Should I complain about anything, that would be that they planned about 2 weeks for the transport and the car arrived after just 6 days. But i need to say too that there were no problems when another relative took care of the reception.
I wish Post Nord would work as smooth as our transport...

A simple move from Malmö to Stockholm, very few boxes, where I packaged everything, they could not accommodate the day of the delivery, also still postponing one day on the allegation that I need to confirm. Took 1 week to finish it all

I had SBK move a few antiques from my mother’s estate. It went from Sweden to Northern California. The communication was clear and prompt. They used Logistics at the California end and the way these two companies cooperated in keeping me informed and delivering the goods has been remarkable. I would contact them again if I need help.
One painting has a cracked glass. When I notified SBK they sent a kind letter + insurance claim forms directly.

De kan inte säga vilken dag de kommer att leverera ditt flyttgods, vilket kan göra det besvärligt med parkeringstillstånd och liknande, eftersom sådana måste gälla för en viss tid. Detta är ett litet minus. Men på det hela taget är jag nöjd.
