I used to spend a lot of money at Screwfix the staff at Salisbury branch are fantastic. The problem is that nearly everything that I need on the day is out of stock. Luckily the Toolstation across the road had everything in stock. Screwfix is losing a lot of business due to lack of items being available on the day

Hello everyone
My experience was not great-
I had No Eye contact with the person at checkout, on twice-
Was not happy mentioned it to the person, but also to the Brilliant Manager James who help load my purchases .
Who pressed that they are making changes to improve All of the outlook .

On my next visit surprisingly I was treated with the warmest smile by the same person at checkout - and that was genuine smile - I issue was dealt as James said he would follow through and he did … the difference was outstanding .

Visited Saint Neots branch helped by Spencer who was extremely helpful, professional and efficient. Great service.

With so much bad customer service around it was a joy to be served by the ladies of my local bishop auckland store.
Nothing was too much trouble for them and I heard them advising and assisting those ahead of me in the same way.
Small orders were given the same attention as the big ones. Give them a try and I know you won’t be disappointed.

Screwfix Wallington - miserable staff member. Two customers in the store, Two staff at the counter. Probably about 2 more staff in the back. I showed my text message to the first staff member. First staff member says "thank you - one of my colleagues will get it for you". 5 minutes later, I am now getting impatient. The second staff member then finishes off with her customer. Then she goes to the back of the store and collect my single item. It took 15 seconds. Why couldn’t the first (miserable) staff member have got it, instead of sitting there waiting for another customer to arrive - bone lazy! Awful customer service.

Buying from the store is fine. Do not order for delivery 5 working days they state , just not true , been told it's being delivered on two separate days ,time off to be home. Now told it won't be for another ;6 days , more time off

Fantastic customer service from Screwfix and the shop staff in Whiteladies Rd Bristol. The bifold shower door I bought online through Screwfix four years ago developed a fault. The manufacturers who gave a lifetime guarantee have since ceased trading. I returned the faulty item to the shop and they refunded the full purchase price. Brilliant service. Thanks Screwfix.

Screwfix Loughborough what a joke, I thought when they opened it stated that it would never NOT have the item you asked for as long as it was in their catalogue?
Well I looked hard and everywhere for the 225mm Mesh Sanding discs, everywhere I had to wait days for it but I thought 💭, I know I’ll go Screwfix, looked on line, they had what I was after, not the same brand name I was looking for but they will do . Anyway I bought them, almost £100 as it clearly stated NEXT DAY COLLECTION IN STORE 👍Brilliant as I’m on a rush job and needed em asap . So I thought ! Got home to a text message , “ Your items will be coming from our distribution centre, we will let you know once ready to collect “ 😡Fuming !
They do it all the bloody time ! They take your money the always throw that at ya , What a joke they are , time for a change I think someone a bit more reliable!

Went in for a door latch yesterday, out of stock but can get it in "after 12 O'clock tomorrow".

If I was happy with that I'd have ordered them online myself rather than drive a 20 mile round trip!
If you don't keep items in stock then don't be a retail outlet.

weird product, almost unusable, radius concealed chain door closer it is so tight and hard that the door cant be even opened

Ordered three items 9:45 today, still waiting for SMS to collect. Get no answer to phoning. 18:14 still waiting .

Nor the first time either as we now use Toolstation ,however I needed three of some thing and they only had two.

Not acceptable service .

Why do you put your valuable business in the hands of these useless clowns? You might has just as well tie it to a stray dog.

I won't buy anything else from you online as there's a 90% chance it wont turn up.

The staff in the Spennymoor branch are a really helpful friendly bunch of staff it’s a pleasure to shop there to see their happy faces I have used Screwfix for nearly 30 years and was very happy when they opened this store in my hometown

As it was Sunday, I wanted to click and collect an item from Screwfix Carlisle Kingston on my way home from the Solway firth to Teesside. I followed the directions on the sat nav and parked next to the Screwfix sign as per the pin on the map. However I found that the actual entrance is quite a hike from where the sign is. You have to walk 200 yards along the front of the building, past about 5 other businesses and at the corner, where Greggs is, turn right. Then walk another hundred yards. Turn right again and walk another 2 hundred yards to the end of the building, where the Screwfix entrance is along with ample parking. When I brought this up with the guy behind the counter(who was very helpful and efficient) he said this has been brought up numerous times with management, but they weren't interested as the landlords of the building won't let them move the signage. I am 73 years old and could have done without the long walk, there and back

Was looking for a heater that wasn't in stock at my local branch, placed the order on the Screwfix website on Friday evening and the heater was ready for collection from my local branch on Saturday morning. Great level of customer service, the staff in the branch are also very helpful. Would recommend.

I would never buy from a company that spams me endlessly. How do you expect to get business when you are sending crap spam emails? There are laws against you for this don’t you know that?

local store never opens on time and online just steal the money and you have to battle for weeks to get it back from the crooks. Nothing like the old screwfix, as the reviews here prove.

Screwfix is definitely the best name or screw over because that’s twice now I’ve used their useless app and when it goes to payment and it goes out your bank the app crashes. So they take your money but doesn’t show up on the order. Went on to the shop and the guy said yes it’s a common occurrence loads of people have been screwed over . Now got to wait weeks to try and get my money back . The app is completely useless and I’m not going to use this company again…
