The cleaning was not done, a aprt from the cleaning of the fridge, not the pavements, not deduting, nothing. The apartment remained as It was.

I give 4 stars exclusively for the lady who had come for cleaning. Inspite of few issue she did an amazing job. There was an issue with transfer of requirements. I had requested for cleaning solvents and vacuum cleaner to be brought for that appointment. But she was not given any info regarding that. though she immediately called her employer and informed. The company had been infromed but it would have definetly taken sometime to start the work. She suggested to work with the available resources. But in the end she did an amazing job.

It was fantastic. Worth it!!

Le seul point d’amélioration serait que l’entreprise fournisse des chaussures d’intérieur aux dames qui travaillent. Ce serait plus hygiénique. Ou au moins des sur-chaussures. Sinon c’est parfait elles étaient très professionnelles.

I specifically indicated about the limescale removal but it was not catered. They should have told me that they can’t do it. They have indicated they speak English but it was not actually. I think the cleaner is not aware of the request or they just send them off directly without informing her what to do. Although the cleaner seems to be nice.

I have been using Spic and Span for couple of months. The standards of the cleaners aren’t high. Recently I have had very bad experience with a woman who came to clean. Her hygiene standard were very poor and so was her work. I don’t believe she was a professionally trained in the field or knew how to clean. She couldn’t even work out how the Hoover works. I have asked her to leave as for me this was just waste of time. Soon after I let her go I have bumped into her in a shop and she was harassing me with her fiends. Followed me from isle to isle and spitting every time when passing me and swearing. They even followed me to a check out and give me no space to empty my basket… I contacted spic and span about the harassment. They said they are sorry for inconvenience. When I requested the cleaners name and details it came to clear they have no idea whom are they sending to our homes. Apparently there is a 3rd company hiring the cleaners but they refused to share more Information just a private email and phone number due to a privacy of the 3rd company.. and that they are just for marketing.. I never had a situation when agency advertising cleaning services is actually not knowing about people sending to people homes. I when email to a person who is employing the cleaners and have no answer..

On time, efficient and did a great job. Would book again.

as a service provider. The address of this provider is 389km away from my home. Their office is a drink shop in a French countryside, which seems fake to me.The work was not done, my house was left full of dust, the floors in most rooms were cleaned very poorly, the sink in the guest WC was not cleaned at all. The toilets were not cleaned properly.I had to clean everything myself. But on top of that, these employees broke several things in my house. They smeared black streaks on the white wall in several places, made several holes in the wall of my bedroom and broke a drawer in the kitchen. They do not admit fault, Spic & Span does not take responsibility for broken things, because it is written so in the rules 🤣.
There is no way to meet representatives from either Spic & Span or the service provider. I also offered to come to my house and see what was done, but no one wants to do it. The only good thing I can say is that Spic & Span very quickly and promptly accepted my complaint, after looking at the photos, returned my money full amount and overall the communication with them was very good and respectable. But what seems unacceptable to me is that they take absolutely no responsibility for the damaged items and offer to solve the problem myself with the service provider. So why do I choose a cleaning company, if no one takes responsibility for the damage afterwards?

Your website says: We work with background-checked, experienced cleaners.

So how do you check these cleaners? Just because they got their linence somehow, doesn't mean they're professionals. Two men who came to my house didn't look like professional cleaners. They were working in their outwear and barefoot. No professional works like that.

Not to mention the quality of the cleaning....you saw the photo's of my house after work. How do you verify that these people know how to clean and handle someone else's property if you've never seen them? And we don't have the opportunity to meet together 3 parties- customer- spic&span - provider in case of a dispute?

If you offer to connect service providers with customers, where is your responsibility for the quality? I was not looking for any company in France, I was looking for a cleaning company in Luxembourg and your website operates in Luxembourg. It is not my responsibility to write a report to the police so that they investigate a company located in France if I booked cleaning throught website operating in Luxembourg.

If you do not take any responsibility for the damage caused, then write it on your website in red bold letters... that in case of damage customer will have to contact the service provider or police and that you have never met the employees and cannot take responsibility, if the cleaners are professionals.
The information on your website is very beautiful, but misleading. When I see other reviews with 1 or 2 stars, I see that other people also experienced an unprofessional cleaning, doubts whether the cleaners are trained at all and causing damage to them property.

I will contact The Luxembourg Consumer Protection Association (Union luxembourgeoise des consommateurs - ULC) to find out their opinion on this situation.
