Spa World - Tullamarine Arvostelua 9

We bought a Spa from Spa World Braybrook & Doris was great to deal with. Unfortunately when it came time to get it delivered we had a deadline to meet with our builder & gave Spa World 2 weeks notice but when dealing with their transport dept it became a big struggle. I have done some homework and they use one transport supplier who is obviously a bit too comfortable having the Spa World contract & their customer service is very poor.

I then contacted Doris again who, due to our time requirements contracted Mayo at Spa Way to do the delivery. Like Doris they are a pleasure to deal with & I couldn't recommend either of them more highly!

We ordered and paid for replacement parts in advance then waited 4 months for their delivery. We also organized for their installation by Spa World in mid October.
We rang today to verify that the parts had arrived and were told the parts had arrived BUT Spa World had sold them to another customer. Rather than apologize and arrange for an express replacement delivery we were told to wait another 4 months.
I would strongly advise anyone against buying anything from Spa World - their incompetence and attitude is the worst I've ever experienced.

This issues I had were plentiful, from the state sales manager dissing me in an email to other staff when I asked too many questions, to various and very different instructions and notifications. Not one but three concierges. Plans of where to be placed to be handed to them to send to delivery hots not fine. List goes on. Sales I would never go through again. After sales handover was v poor with the guy not knowing the Spanet system at all and in fact seeing it incorrectly which cost me a lot of $ first elec bill. A year later, that is, a year and four months after delivery, a major issue where half the spa was suddenly not working and no one in my regional area to assist until they finally went with someone I’d recommended originally that ‘wasn’t on their books’. It is now working. What happened? It had somehow taken itself out of its actual interface to say it was a model 2 so was only doing model 2 things when it’s a model 3. It should never have been able to do that in the first place. Very strange! That was fixed and the new comms cord (probably unnecessarily) put in and it’s all good now except the guy tested the water and the chlorine is really really high. Like too too high. As in ‘follow their instructions at the spa company and stuff the spa up eventually’ high. This is the guy they didn’t want to use because he wasn’t on their books but they had no one else in bendigo so rang me and asked what his name was. He’s brilliant. He gave me some fantastic tips for the water and I will not follow the instructions of spa world Re that anymore and all should be well. They don’t treat you as an individual and were giving me instructions for a spa heated far higher than I personally like. And - It’s a very disturbing situation when they sell regionally but don’t have service people in the area for warranty work! It should be illegal! But all well and good now. I’ll check what’s under warranty for future reference but I know the person I trust. I thank R, service and warranties who is actually from NZ, for being funny and on top of things, and the guys at Spanet who were fantastic, Dean specially, they can talk you through a lot of stuff on the phone. Lovely guys! I did want SW to take the spa back but they wouldn’t and it IS v good; it’s just some people really don’t care. They really don’t. It’s just a job. But some, as mentioned above, are great! I thank SW for their comments below.

I have delt with Tom Whyte at the Braybrook showroom. Tom has been extremely helpful giving us good advice and allowing us time to think things through without any pressure. Unfortunately our new house hasn't been finished on the date we expected meaning we had to change our expected delivery date. Tom has worked through this issue with us without any fuss and in a very cooperative way. Very happy with Tom from our first contact to the purchase and after sales service

When in the Tullamarine store Ruby had multiple customers waiting but she was the only representative in there but we were constantly kept informed as to how long she expected to be.
Probably more important for us was that Ruby was highly knowledgeable on Spa World products. This led to our eventual purpose. All in all we left the store satisfied.

We purchased a Vortex Aqualap Pro Plus and are thrilled with our purchase. Tom at the Tullamarine showroom has been an absolute gentleman throughout the whole journey & arrival of our swim/spa. His customer service & people skills are amazing and especially his knowledge and way around the spa’S are second to none, he is a champion! At any time when we called him with a question or concern, he was always ready, happy & delightful to deal with. We highly recommend Tom at Spa World in Tullamarine. Ask for Tom and Buy a swim/spa, you won’t regret it!

We love our two person spa. We are in our 70s and use it every night and feel if not only in our mind it helps our aches and pains. If older people want a small spa please go to spa world. We have solar so costs us nothing to heat and only uses a 10amp plug.

We highly recommend Theo from the Tullamarine store for his excellent customer service and helpful advise . Theo was very helpful and efficient through many phone calls we made to him .
We also found once the swim spa arrived in Port we were keep updated on the spas movements by the delivery team . Overall great experience .
