I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately my experience with Sparky4U has left me with little choice.
I contacted them to replace an old electric shower that had reached the end of its life. Their engineer attended, advised that the existing shower needed replacing, supplied a new shower, and installed it. The total cost was £599.
From the outset, the replacement shower never functioned properly. It would intermittently fail to provide hot water or go cold during use.
The most disappointing aspect of this experience has been the complete lack of aftercare and customer service. Over the following weeks, I repeatedly contacted the company to report the fault. By my count, I made more than 20 phone calls. On almost every occasion I was told that an engineer or manager would call me back shortly. Despite these assurances, no one ever called back to arrange an inspection or repair.
I also requested a copy of the invoice I had been promised and repeatedly asked for assistance in resolving the issue. Again, no meaningful response was received.
Eventually, after numerous calls and a formal written complaint, I was contacted by someone identifying himself as a manager, who said he would arrange for an engineer to review the shower. No appointment was arranged and no further contact followed despite additional calls from me.
I understand that faults can occur with any installation. What matters is how a company responds when things go wrong. In this case, the shower was never working correctly, and despite weeks of effort on my part, I was unable to get Sparky4You to investigate or resolve the problem.
As a result, I have now had to arrange and pay for another tradesperson to diagnose and rectify the issue.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Sparky4U.
