The worst customer service and experience. Avoid this Terrible company and their awful customer service.

I purchased the Emelie ankle boots in December 2023. Wore these a couple times a week through from December through maybe early March. (These were not worn much at all since they’re not very comfortable.) I pull them out of my closet a few weeks ago (Jan 2025) and notice the rubber on the heel is peeling off. I have Ugg boots that are over 10 years old and the rubber looks brand new. Sorel has a 1 year warranty so these were not covered, however, I called anyway and sent pictures because this shouldn’t have happened after just 13 months with very limited use. They still wouldn’t offer to get them repaired. Poor quality. I don’t recommend their boots.

I purchase some boots for a winter trip to Spain on Sorel.com. I received the wrong item and they will only offer a “FREE” Shipping label like if they were doing me a favor, when they were the ones who sent the wrong order. They will not honor my purchase by re sending the boots i order but the only option was a “FREE” Shipping label and a refund. A refund that will take up to 30 days since I use Klarna as a method of payment. For which by the time the wrong shoes were delivered i had already paid 75% of the cost. So a refund was not the best option for me due to timing. Bottom line dont buy from them as they dont honor your purchase nor solve their mistakes and you end up getting frustrated. I am sure there are other brands out there better than Sorel.

I paid 30 dollars for rush delivery which says the order will arrive in 1-2 days and their website says will ship within the day but it didn’t actually ship until 4 days later which means the item won’t arrive until after I need it. It’s not like it’s the busy season or anything. Their practices are just deceptive

Their customer service is lousy and they won’t let you cancel the order even if they don’t ship it until almost a week after the order is placed.

Return Process Appalling. Received a pair of boots for Christmas, wore them once and the heal separated from the boot. Because the purchase was over 30 days the only option is to send back the boots (at my cost) and have the defective boots repaired. If they can't repair you get a gift card to buy more bad quality product. Spent over 2 hours getting the same run around from customer service. Will never order again!

We have previously purchased Sorel womens walking boots and had no issues.

Purchased Mens Sorel boots, loved the look of them, went out for a walk and within half a mile they were cutting into my foot.

We walk around 10 - 12 miles across both countryside and road, these boots are not in anyway designed as walking books.

Returned the items, after calling and advisor stating they were not fit for purpose.

5 weeks later and still no refund, calling Sorel you are told to wait for email updates.

I purchased through PayPal so will be able to raise a refund through supplier failure.

I would not recommend this company, it's disgraceful that they are part of the Colombia group, a company that historically made fantastic outdoor wear.

If you are an avid walker, runner, into outdoor activities, this brand is not for you.

Have a pair of cracking Sorel Waterproof Boots. I hadn't used them in two years - they were fine when I took them out of the box and put them on. When I came back in from shoveling snow (about 20 minutes), I took them off and saw that they had cracked all over and some of the rubber fell even had fallen off (I can't find all of the pieces since they are buried in the snow outside). My wife has two pair (both are older since they both say they were made in Canada - mine says Vietnan and according to customer service at Sorel, when Columbia bought Sorel approx. 20 years ago, they stopped making their boots in Canada. My wife's boots are perfectly fine and both still look brand new. Sad that when a company buys another company, quality goes downhill. They are not covered by warranty and now I have to use flex seal or something to do my best to fix them. I'm starting a woodworking / furniture restoration channel on YouTube....I might have to start with seeing if I can repair my Sorel boots especially since I have seen that other people have had the same complaint. I wish I could add photos....they are pretty bad.

Je suis extrêmement déçue de cette marque. Je me suis offerte une paire d'après-ski Sorel pour partir en Laponie une semaine en pensant contre le design très sympa, cette marque était du haut de gamme, et au bout de quelques jours les semelles se sont entièrement décollées à l'avant et je me suis retrouvé avec les pieds mouillés et congelés tous les jours.

De retour en France j'essaie de les recoller et je constate que tout est décousu à l'intérieur et que les matériaux utilisés sont de piètre qualité. Bref à plus de 200 € elles vont pouvoir partir à la poubelle après avoir rempli leur fonction pendant 2 ou 3 jours.

Ce sont des chaussures bas de gamme vendues à prix d'or. La prochaine fois je ne me ferai pas avoir et je prendrai des chaussures avec de réelles coutures solides qui maintiennent le cuir à la semelle.

Je reçois une chaussure lec8 décembre, l enfile dans ma maison pour constater qu elles sont trop petite, les remballe et les renvoies le lendemain
Aucun remboursement ce 7 janvier soit 40 jours après la réception/ renvoi reçu le 12 décembre
Ils refusent de rembourser au motif que l article a ete porté - oui comme cela peut l etre dans une boutique ! C est à dire quelques pas à l intérieur
C est de la pure arnaque / escroquerie

Nul stjerner her. De er meget hurtige til at tage penge men de svarer aldrig, man ved ikke om ordren kommer og hvornår. Snyd, hold jer væk fra det.

Le daim, (extérieur), est de bonne qualité mais à l'intérieur et c'est bien cela qui compte mauvaise qualité à peine un an, achat onéreux, 100 euros et je vais devoir les changer l'intérieur n'étant plus chaud du tout.
Je ne recommande pas.

Mauvaise qualité et charge 7$ pour les retours

J'ai commandé des chaussures chez eux. Elles ont été envoyées chez une autre personne, à une autre adresse et ils ne veulent pas m'envoyer mon achat. Mais l'argent, ils veulent bien le garder sans problème.
Ils ne répondent plus au mail, évidemment... Alors que c'est eux qui sont en tort

Jeg har skrevet til dem 2 gange, de svarer ikke og man kan ikke ringe til dem!

I returned some boots over 4 weeks ago with the intention of a refund and was only told that the box was received empty how can they be sure it was my order - I try calling customer service and get very bad service, someone needs to contact me and explain when I will receive my refund.

I have been buying outdoor boots from this brand for several years now and have always been so happy with the quality, boots always comfortable, sturdy, lightweight and either highly water resistant or waterproof. Extremely disappointed recently to have bought a pair of women's Out N About IV Classic waterproof boots and not only are they not waterproof (despite this being included in the product name and embossed on the least waterproof part of the boot) but they are heavy, clunky and very uncomfortable. After an hour or so of walking in these boots on normal terrain (footpaths etc) I have to take them off despite having gone up as half size to my actual shoe size (I have always done this with boots from this brand to allow for thick socks. The returns process for faulty goods is not in favour of the customer either as I have to return the boots for an 'investigation' before I might or might not get a refund.
I had always looked forward to my new sorel boots in the past but this disappointment will prevent me from buying in the future. The quality is not what I would expect from this brand and to falsely advertise the boots are waterproof has just put me off for buying from this brand again. A huge shame.

Their shoe sizing makes no sense. And if you want an exchange you have to pay return shipping and also print the packing slip and shipping label yourself. This company needs to move beyond the stone age. Do not buy from them.

Helas j'aimais bien les chaussures sorel mais je dois dire que je suis assez déçue après deux paires fendues. Vous est-il arrivé la même chose qu'à mon ami et à moi ? J'aurais mis les photos mais le site ne propose pas.

I have been chasing for a refund for 4 months now. My package was never delivered to my address as it was delivered so late due to Black Friday backlogs. Instead, it was delivered to a UPS collection point. I was advised by Sorel that the package had been collected and returned to Sorel, but they were having issues tracing it. After weeks of chasing, I went to the collection point myself, and the package was still there. Complete dishonesty from Sorel regarding the whereabouts of the package. I returned the package to Sorel myself using a prepaid label, but have now been advised that the return address is an ‘intermediary’ location and the package must be shipped onwards to France before I can receive my refund…will they get there? Maybe by 2030. Avoid this company, it becomes a part time job trying to process a refund.
