In a world of no information of law can be found, I just had to ask a question and just like that got a answer to my question. This site is the best at helping with law and such a breath of fresh air for me. thank you so much!

If you're thinking of using Solosuit, read this carefully first. Back in June, I used Solosuit to help me answer a lawsuit in my city's superior court. Solosuit took care of everything, including sending the check for $238 required to process the answer into the court. A little over 6 months later, on January 12th, I got a letter from the superior court that the check was no good because it had expired already and to issue them a new check so they can record the answer to the lawsuit.

Please understand... it took them nearly 7 month to even get to the letter solosuit sent them and the check had the disclaimer: VOID AFTER 90 DAYS. I guess Solo never figured there'd be a sloth-paced court out there that would take 7 months to open a letter!

Anyway, I immediately contacted solosuite and they gave me two options, 1, refund me the $238 so I can send in the payment personally, or option 2, they can re-issue a check again for the same amount and mail it again to the superior court in my city. I told them option 2, so they did. They simply reissued another check and mailed it.

It has been nearly 3 months since then and all of a sudden, a couple of days ago, I got a letter from my city's superior court stating that I was owing them for the filing fees on that case and that they haven't received anything from me, but now they had assessed a $49 collection fee to what I owed them. So now it's $287 instead of $238.

I contacted Solo immediately and they confirmed they had mailed a second check which hasn't been cashed either and I asked them to simply refund me that amount and I'll just personally go over and make that payment in person.

Solosuit suddenly told me, "we'll refund you $287 to help you cover that updated amount."

I mean... WOW!

This was not Solo's fault and they kindly went ahead and added the $49 collection fee that the court punished me with. And again, this is all the court's incompetence, yet making me pay for it... but Solosuit was kind enough to take that hit.

If that isn't customer service... I don't know what is!

Thank you Solosuit for going above and beyond, for taking a hit that you didn't need to take, and for restoring my faith in humanity (ok, maybe that's going a little far, but you get my drift). 😂

But seriously, I'm very happy and I can't thank you enough for this. You guys truly Rock!

I was transferred to solo through seeking help from FDCPA and FTC after an unidentified person sent me threatening emails saying that I had been reported to them.

Solo, has given VERY professional, clear, and helpful advice on how to handle it every step of the way.

Solo even typed out the exact responses that I was to send to these. I copy and paste their emails to solo, and solo gives me an exact message to copy and paste to the people sending the emails.

If you are like me and you know you have debts, making your email and regular mail scary to you when you start getting messages from people claiming to be pressing you for some debt, it can be very terrorizing.

The thought of being hit with arrest warrants and such.

Personally, it's not that I am trying to get out of paying my debts. It's that these people are hitting me at the wrong time. I am not at the moment capable of paying anything at all. I don't like being in this situation but it is the situation that I am in.

They are threatening arrests which solo advises me to remind them "civil debt collection does not result in arrest".

AND the people pressing me are not, as solos says, validating the debt. In my words, they are not making it clear to me exactly which debt they are pressing me for. They are not giving me details to why I owe exactly the amount that they say I do.

I may or may not legitimately owe money to these people, but solo definitely feels like it gave me an upper hand and fortification in dealing with these people.

I feel safe in my own house again. The days leading up to my initial communication with solo I was starting to feel like police may or may not be momentarily coming to my door to take me away in cuffs.

Paid the fee multiple emails I was asked to fill our appearance form did it sent multiple pdf multiple pics of documents email response was send again we can't open file i had to file appearance by Dec 16 missed that date due to solo incompetence asked for a refund on Dec 16 never received any type of response took my funds linked my bank account to this company and I didn't even receive a response after I paid for services I never received if u can save ur money do it all urself Crooks if u ask me

Fast reply and instructions were easy to understand

The online question and answer form was easy to understand. My Answer to the Court was filed within two days of receiving the email that it was sent. I would highly recommend Solo for debt legal situations.

The process was easy and if I had questions, I received responses quickly. The process was so much easier than trying to do it myself. Less stressful and I felt better once the case reached a settlement that was affordable for me.

This company did not have the correct courthouse in their database and that automatically changed my hand typed out information to a completely different court and county and then they mailed that to the incorrect place. When I emailed them about this error they insisted they did it correctly. When they discovered it was their fault they just changed the address and mailed it again instead of honoring my refund request. Haven't heard anything back from them since then
