Using smartseal products for a number of years and have never been disappointed . Good products.Excellent company.

Firstly I spoke with technical support, based my purchase upon advice, I needed 'Natural Stone Sealer - DRY FINISH'.
Secondly, the product arrived quickly, well packaged and undamaged.
Thirdly, upon applying and after the first rain since, I'm pleased with product performance. Maybe not the cheapest but certainly works.

Excellent package, all I needed the seal, brush, anti slip powder, goggles and gloves, quick delivery and thanks to the delivery driver for carrying the sealant to my back gate.

The personal customer service has been exceptional. I needed some guidance on what would be best on my two imprinted concrete areas in relation to treating cracks, sealing it and colour matching and Ricky has been super helpful in talking me through it all and providing fabulous customer service on recommendations. I can’t praise him enough on going above and beyond in helping me. Very high standards one rarely gets these days.

Zero stars. Fair warning.
By now I am fairly convinced that most positive reviews came from either bots, or have been paid for.
After installing approximately 60m2 of natural limestone patio I have used their Color Enhancer sealer.
The decission was made consciously after confirming with Smartseal which sealer would be the most suitable.
Patio sat drying in the sun for some time before applying the product. It was not grouted to avoid any contamination. It was cleaned with damp only cloth to avoid soaking. The stone is not porous so it dried swiftly.
After a few more days the whole patio was sealed STRICTLY according to instructions.
Once the sealer was applied and any excess wiped off it was left to dry.
Next day it appeared to be pale white instead of natural textured beige. We have assumed that since all precautions were taken and all instructions were followed the patio sealer needs some time to settle.
Few days later we have had the patio grouted.
Ever since the patio remained dusty white, unless it was made wet and only then the magnificent colours would be back for a little while until it dried again. It remianed in that state over the winter.
Less than a year after application of so-called „Colour Enhancer” I have contacted SmartSeal for explanations.
George responded with some delay and requested pictures to „speak to his team”.
I have provided pictures.
Geaorge requested more pictures.
I have provided plenty.
Since then I was asked some more questions, as „Have you done anything to try stripping it currently” to which I truthfully replied „God forbid”. It is not my intention to make the damage worst.
That last conversation took place on the 7th of May.
Geaorge stopped responding.
I am now left with thousands out of pocket and the splendid natural limestone slab patio we dreamed about looks like it’s covered in flour.
I am determined to involve our company lawyers in attempts to establish my legal stance due to financial loss and no real support from SmartSeal.

I bought two 20L drums of tarmaseal, a great product that stops your tarmac deteriorating and is ridiculously easy to apply with a broom, and as it is a water based emulsion you can clean the broom with a hose (be quick though). Ricky gave good advice
