Our experience with Skyscanner was great but Booking.com was hopeless. Booking hotels was always worked really well but flights are dreadful. Please don't use them for your flights.

I booked a flight from Delhi to Perth…
I booked a flight from Delhi to Perth with a connection in Singapore. During the booking process, it showed the flights as a connected journey, so I expected my baggage to be checked through to my final destination.
However, after completing the booking, I received an email saying that I needed to collect my baggage in Singapore and check it in again. My journey was on IndiGo and Qantas under the same booking, so this was unexpected and very inconvenient.
This information should be made much clearer before customers complete their booking. Showing the flights as a single connection without clearly explaining the baggage transfer requirements can easily mislead travelers. Please improve the booking process so customers know exactly what to expect before they pay.

I am sorry to hear that you were not informed prior to booking that you would need to collect your luggage in Singapore and check it in again for your connecting flight. We understand how frustrating this can be.
To help clarify, Skyscanner does not handle bookings directly. As a search engine, Skyscanner can only show the data related to the flight itineraries that are shared with us by the airlines and travel agents. We include a disclaimer that advises our users to check the ticket details carefully on the travel provider's site before completing a booking. However, we understand that this information may not have been clearly displayed by the travel provider before the booking was completed.
It is also worth mentioning that some airports may require passengers to pick up and drop off their luggage for connecting flights, regardless of the airline or ticket type, as this can be linked to customs or other requirements.

I was about to make a payment and…
I was about to make the payment when I noticed that the ticket price had suddenly increased by $200. This feels unfair, as I did not realise the price was different from the one originally shown.

Very occasionally, there can also be a problem with the prices being passed through to us to show by a provider, or there are technical reasons why the price is not represented accurately. The company you recommended us to go…
The company you recommended us to go with.....Go ToGate could not be more incompetent even if they tried. We paid an extra $1431 for seat allocation and we never got them. I ncompetence, untrustworthy, full of excuses, frustration. The whole experience was a nightmare. We will be following up when we get back. And don't send me any replies telling me you're so sorry. If you or GO To Gate are going to be sorry send a reimbursement for all the trouble that was caused to us and that has to be on top of the money reimbursement of the money we paid for the seat allocation.
