Less than a zero. They will not help you replace parts that are broken. They just want you to pay another $200-300 per garbage can. I have 5 of the newer metal cans and still have 3 of the old plastic styles as well. I have the mirror and the shower caddy’s. I will be throwing them all away and buying ANYTHING else. Hanging trash bags off a handle in my kitchen would be better than using this trash anymore. The customer service is atrocious! They literally won’t sell me the part o need and won’t help me without tracking my purchases from 5yrs ago. I’m sorry, but who keeps receipts from years ago?! Ridiculous non existent customer service. Won’t spend another dime on any of their garbage.

Really good after sale support. Got my cordless cosmetic mirror 8 months ago and had charging issue. I called their support and they sent me a new replacement on 2nd day delivery! Very happy about the service.

I bought two automatic soap dispensers (each 2 years apart) and they both broke... didn't even last two years!

In both cases, it is the non-field replecable battery that died (bad design... considering the device cost 70$ each, the cost of ownership is about 45$ per year without the soap refill + e-Waste).

Contacted customer service, complete loss of time. In the very end, they proposed a discount so I can buy the same device again for it to fail within 1.5 year.

After two shots and the complete careless attitude of the company, I had to switch to a different device which work amazingly since!

SimpleHuman is amazing in the smoke screen/marketing area, making very beautiful products, but with really bad design and engineering under the hood. Stay away if you care about your wallet. Thank you for your time.

Bought two sensor soap dispensers from them and both failed within a few months. Also bought a compost caddy and it came through clearly used but they refuse to allow returns. Absolutely disgusting company - avoid at all costs.

I had a defective mirror or, at least a defective battery as our mirror, while 2 years old, failed to charge. Simplehuman customer service was responsive and ultimately replaced the product. Good service on a two year old product.

I have purchased the soap dispenser approximately 4 times

bought trash bags at Amazon for one of their trash cans...too small...ordered directly from them...too small...just vspent 80 minutes "chatting" with their AI...so useless...asked for pictures...I sent them...they replied that it's not enough information...in fact they said to return their bags at my expense and they'll give me 15% off another purchase...they could care less about helping a customer with a problem they created

Simplehuman is a worthless product. I’ve been using their products for a few years now, and it’s a total scam. Their customer support also really needs proper training. I wonder why they discontinued their foam soap refill and replaced it with a foam tablet line, also you have to purchase the soap refill, perhaps too many complaints about foam dispenser? Malfunction? I’m done with this brand!

We have had many simplehuman products. They used to be awesome. But more and more they just don't last. Our last soap dispenser lasted just over a year. IT COST $50!!! So we tried to get a warranty replacement. They admitted (after making us jump through hoops) that it was their fault. They said they would give us a $50 credit on their site. But the comparable product now costs $70! So we would be paying them $20! We found knockoffs on Amazon for less than $20. Even if they don't work, we can't be much worse off.

I've had my kitchen trash can for 2-3 years. The first one came dented, but the company was quick to send me a new one. However, the new can is malfunctioning, and I have conducted all the options provided to fix the problem. The lid barely opens, and when it does, it closes faster than anyone can throw anything into it. I have a much cheaper can that is also a motion sensor can, and it is in the laundry room. It has lasted longer than the Simplehuman can. The laundry room trash can has not given us any issues. I know the old cliche is you get what you pay for...until you don't!

I've now had two hand soap dispensers and neither lasted through their warranty period. A very pleasant Customer line, but the dispensers are not worth the money! Buy elsewhere for a third of the price.

Looking at their quantity of 1 star reviews, and the fact they never reply online I should have realised when both bathroom mirrors stopped illuminating I would be disappointed with their response.
Good name, bad company.

I have purchased a couple of the kitchen bins, and they have been great. However, one started to lose the protective lacquer, contacted Simplehuman providing evidence of the issue and the serial number and we have a replacement being arranged. Such a friendly and simple process, I only wish other companies respected their customers as much.

Expensive, yes. But so far the step, motion, and smaller bathroom cans are awesome quality. And the bags that fit perfect without having a inside liner can that takes up space, works phenomenal. I also have the plunger set for the bathroom that works great, the wand and plunger are magnetic so it stays within and toilet water don’t spill. The only reason I see this company getting bad reviews is customer service in the price. I think it is worth it because of the quality in which the products are made, and I have not had one issue over the past three years or so. I also have the sensor pump for paper towels, and the paper towels they sell are not as thick as bounty but you get more for dollar buying the rolls with 250 sheets each.

I have been using Simple Human N series bags for three years, and my experience has been fabulous. These bags are SUPER human. I get 100 bags at a time, and they last for about 8 months. In three years, I've torn two bags. They hold an amazing amount of weighty trash, including an iron skillet.

When I purchased the can and starter bags, I had no idea what I was getting. When I needed replacement bags, I was surprised at the low price.

Simple Human is clearly a customer-focused company. Little things like a fold in the first bag so it's easier to pull the bag out, and a reminder sticker to let me know when I'm getting low, are little things that go a long way with me. Also, the price is reasonable, even for my tight budget.

Wonderful experience with customer service! I don't know what company people in these reviews are talking about - they answered my e-mail on a Saturday afternoon, they were helpful, personal and polite. And problem was resolved. I'll buy from them again.

Poor design, plastic dish drainer quickly gets worn and impossible to clean as stains are absorbed into the plastic. Cutlery holder impossible to be cleaned due to poor design.
Would not buy this make again.
