Way way way way way overpriced
Way way way way way overpriced. My hand pump soap dispenser failed in warranty and I eventually threw it away rather than wait for another replacement part.
My “rechargeable” hand soap dispensers never held a charge and had only a two year warranty. So when it just quit, their response was get another one for a minuscule discount.
I will never buy another product from them. Just the worst.

Overpriced and defective
I have had several simple human soap dispensers. The ones with regular batteries are ok. Overpriced but they last for a while. The ones with rechargeable batterie’s are way overpriced and do not last. I have bought 6 of those. Big mistake. None of them lasted two years and some of them stopped charging after a few months. So Way overpriced and defective . Terrible customer service service
No technical support
No technical support, all calls are put on wait and then hung up without giving other options than chatting with a bot online. Once online, they make you file a warranty and answer a bunch of questions, and then says it will get back to you in 1-2 business days.... what kind of company sell high priced item with low quality and yet doesn't have a support team.

About 18 months I got a rechargeable soap dispenser, suddenly the dispenser stopped working, I did everything the technical support said to do and didn’t work, I contacted CS, and they ask for receipt, video serial number, I send all that, and then they said that the guarantee was over and send me a 20% discount code, for what I paid for the dispenser I don’t need a code I need a replacement! This simplehuman products are not worth the money, get something else out there that is similar and cheaper and most likely will last longer than this expensive product
Super service
Ik wil de ervaringen van anderen niet teniet doen, maar mijn ervaring met dit bedrijf is zeer positie. Heb met mijn eerste sensor can (afvalbak) 8 jaar gedaan. Daarbij is wel eens een motortje stuk gegaan, maar binnen de garantietermijn van 5 jaar werd dit zonder probleem vervangen. Geen verwijtende vragen of iets dergelijk maar gewoon direct een nieuwe motor toegestuurd. Na 8 jaar was dat dan ook de reden om weer een nieuwe sensor can van dit merk aan te schaffen. Ik vind het een geweldig gemak. Helaas trad er vorige week, na 2,5 jaar, een storing op. De klep ging niet helemaal meer open en viel soms gelijk dicht. Bericht en filmpje hierover naar Simple Human gestuurd en direct reactie. Het werd intern besproken. Een dag later bericht met verontschuldigingen voor het ontstane defect en dat een compleet nieuwe sensor can zou worden opgestuurd. Vandaag de nieuwe can mogen ontvangen. Vind het nog steeds een super apparaat. En dan nog misschien ten overvloede: in januari 2016 een elektrische zeepdispender aangeschaft, Doet nu bijna 9 jaar zijn werk. En ja de blanke laag laat hier en daar iets los, maar is niet heel erg storend. Dus ik weet niet of de andere veel pech hebben gehad of ik heel veel geluk met deze spullen, maar ben er heel erg blij mee en helemaal met de service van en het contact met dit bedrijf.
My voice activated trashcan stopped…
My voice activated trashcan stopped responding to voice. My warranty was accepted and a replacement lid assembly was sent. The replacement also didn't respond to voice. I tried again and was asked for my proof of purchase?! I complained (no humans to speak with) and was sent a notification that another replacement was in the mail. Why has it been 45 days in the mail?! I will never buy another expensive product from them.
Unresponsive customer service
Customer service is impossible to contact. No response to my request to return a product yet and we are now well past the 1-2 days they claim it will take to respond. Critical because you only have 30 days within which to complete a return. Never again.
Dissatisified Customer
After 2.5 yrs the sensor trash unit stopped working. Support is non existent -- was billed twice for replacement and provided with 10% they have a policy likely due to the few people that have actually been able to contact them!!

This is one of the worst company's with customer service, long, long delivery times and it seems to use customer service out of the country. I'd rather use Amazon, that I HATE, but at least they deliver fast.
Despicable simple human
I had bought the 58L Sensor rectangle trash can , full price, after less than a year , sensor stopped working . I called to get it fix or replacement. Their customer service wanted a video of the trash can lid , I did. I followed their instruction to clean and unplugged the electric connection to the trash can, I did. It was still malfunction. Their told to send back to them the old lid, before they would send me back a used lid! I had to waited for 4 weeks to get a USED lid , while my trash can was opened to the whole time. They sent me a used lid from someone else trash can, because when I sent the lid , I sent in the whole lid( top & back lid) . What I got back , was only the top lid. This company is disgusting!!
They have ZERO intention of honoring…
They have ZERO intention of honoring their warranty. They ask for videos, photos, & when they do ship the parts, they are not correct. so after a month of back & forth with this cs woman named Revine, i was told that i would have to pay for the parts (even though the item that i purchased was defective. By right, a whole new product should have been shipped to me. Instead they wasted my time only to finally tell me that they refuse to honor the warranty. Stay away from these grifters!
Disappointed with the short lifetime these products work as they should
I used to like the product and still like some of their products. The handwash dispensers often stop working after 1-2 years and usually after the warranty is over which makes this an expensive handwash system. I own 6 and gifted a few more for special occasions.
The trashcan is nice and I started to use regular bags as the bags are pretty expensive. Last week I contacted Simplehuman as the brand-new little bags for the countertop trashcan all come out of the new package, torn and can't be used. I made videos of 2 packages with all torn bags and was chatting with a person for the company. That person requested for me to email the videos which I did and then asked me for proof of purchase in the form of a receipt. We are talking about trashcan bags! Not the hardware. Who on earth saves receipts for trashcan bags? The packages show it is authentic Simplehuman trashcan bags. I wasted 2 full packages of the Z bags.
This company can now try to sell to anyone else than my family as my adult kids also do not want to spend more money on what they already spend on this brand as their service is ridiculous. In the past even under the warranty they gave me a hard time, when I had bought through their website and had proof of purchase, proof of serial numbers. My kids had their soap dispensers also stop working within 2 years. If you calculate how much regular soap dispensers you can buy for that amount of luxury item that you would expect to last much longer.
The travel and standing mirror with lights both had issues, and the lights keep going out and you have to keep waiving or resting the mirror by pushing on/off multiple times as the helpdesk has informed me off.
In the end almost all their products are fancy looking, priced to attract higher end customers with a certain lifestyle but the products keep disappointing at this price point, especially when their warranty is bad.
I bought a new Simplehuman white…
I bought a new Simplehuman white kitchen dripping rack (€100,-), the frame was already scratched within one month and the white coating receded at some spots. I contacted the Customer Service and there was no possibility for a return or exchange. The product is faulty. They offered a basic 20% discount code. So I’m stuck with a faulty product after only 1 month! Disappointing.

Zero stars for this company. There is no customer service at all. You cannot call them, text, chat or email. They simply do not respond. Worst company ever. Happy to take your money but not willing to provide service when there is an issue.
Company should be investigated for fraud.
Bought 2 soap dispensers in 2022 and both will not put out soap after 3 touches on a full charge. Zero customer service, no phone number. Sent a message and was told "thanks for writing" I was asking how to recycle their worthless garbage! DO NOT BUY any product from this company, they DO NOT support their products.
Good Products; Non-existent Customer Seervice
A sad discrepancy between this company’s products and their customer support. I have purchased many products but have never once been able to contact customer support. My latest purchase was a double dispenser of both hand and dish soap. The concept is excellent, but there are no instructions with this product for set up, and actually getting the soap out of the dispenser is hit or miss. I have tried calling the company. No phone number anywhere. Any attempt to contact by email was greeted with an error message. No chat available. Product without support is useless. I would not advising buying anything they sell until they get better support for what they make.

The soap dispenser I got worked great for a bit and then just stopped. I contacted them to help resolve this issue and was told to reset it, which i tried numerous times with only little success. It would stop working within hours again. I kept it because I was told I had 10 years on the warranty. THIS WAS FALSE. I just contacted them again to get a replacement because it never worked consistently again... well turns out its a 2 year warranty , and is now expired! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

After speaking with someone in the chat, which again, wasn't direct as they had to assess the request, the confirmed they only chat and SMS--what kind of customer service is this??
I'm very concerned about having to call in a warranty item now.
