Ik heb de gele 900 MM waterpas erg nauwkeurig en ik vind hem ook niet zo heel prijzig toch goed kwaliteit ook erg lichtgewicht aluminium

Purchased a Silverline 633821 SDS plus drill with rotostop from Burgess Industrial Supplies Limited Ebay store on 25th July (2024). Machine has only been used a handful of time, today 6th November the hammer function stopped working. Checked the switches and added grease to gearbox which made no difference.

Contacted Burgess Industrial Supplies Limited via Ebay explaining the situation, who have no regard for the consumer rights act 2015 and fobbed me off saying that because the item was not registered online at date of sale Silverline wont honor the warranty even though the drill is well under 6 months old and faulty. There was no warranty paperwork included with the purchase that says it must be registered online for warranty!!!

Will be taking this up with trading standards, since both the retailer and supplier think the laws dont apply to them.

Got a replaced pump after 2 years purchased. At least I can use it for another 2 years

Had maten nodig van een artikel en dat werd keurig uitgezocht en terug gemeld.

Purchased an 18V reciprocating saw and 115mm disc saw as price reasonable. Build of the units is ok for the price however clearly not as robust as more expensive products e.g. my Dewalt drills.

Biggest issue is I purchased the 18V Lithium Ion battery units for flexibility in use with the major flaw being the battery quality and capacity. They struggle to charge and have limited power and run time. Supplier replaced a battery FOC but it is marginally better than the originals. Frankly products are not fit for purpose as at best suitable for mild DIY very short duration use before recharge required. Would not recommend spend more for better quality products !

I bought a Silverline Pressure Sprayer last year and used it once and was not impressed. It didn't hold pressure for long and spray was very feeble. Just tried to use it again and now its completely defunct. It had been stored correctly over winter. No wonder its cheap as its poorly made and not up to the job.

Just purchased two Tungsten carbide grinding discs for removing grout on an exterior job, I may as well have used a butter knife for all the good they were, absolutely useless and not at all fit for purpose!.

Bought a jet wash , only used it four times before the internal motor sheared off two screws and is not not usable
Could not find the receipt do they washed their hands of the fault. I now have a jet wash that I can only throw away

Contacted customer support as I had broken the handle on a masonary saw & wanted to but a replacement handle as the saw is still very good, well it was!

What can I say, avoid just avoid. No correspondence to my emails about missing items from the packaging, no response what so ever!
This company is nothing better than dirt on the sole of my shoe!

Very bad for the environment, avoid if possible! The tools are packaged with clear plastic cover that is not recyclable. And they say on their website that they care about the environment and ethics - just a false claim, I am disgusted. But at the end of the day it will be their children and grandchildren that will also suffer as a result. How can you sleep at night, may I ask?

Poor backup service it would help if they read the emails instead of two ing and frow ing absolutely useless they basically didn't want to know.
I asked a simple question on what could be wrong with my vernier caliper that was 3 months out if warranty so that u could be possibly be doing something wrong, there advice was non existentjust telling me the obvious if what I has already done.
A telephone CONTAC NUMBER WOULl be VERY useful instead of ping ridiculous emails back and forth.
Conclusion RUBBISH!

These tools are cheap rubbish and a complete waste of anyone's money. Sash clamps look like they were made by children in a 1st year metal work project, quick clamps - all 6 broke on first use, rubber mallet - the end came flying off after 6 hits and caused me a head injury, pillar drill - zero accuracy and fell apart after a few uses, mesh style round sanding pads - fall apart and disintegrate in seconds. Electric sander - burnt out after a few days use. The list goes on and on so do yourself a favor and choose a better quality brand

Fantastic range of tools through the Gardening / DIY sectors, most come with Lifetime guarantee. Have used many Silverline tools over the years, some for light use and others more industrial use and wold certainly recommend, tools are excellent value for money, and match many higher priced tools out there in the market.

Purchased a Silverline 160 amp welder which I admit has been a good product but the problem is the main on off switch is now not working (it’s out of guarantee) I e mailed silverline to get a new switch and their reply was they do not supply spares to anyone and they have to do the repairs costing god knows how much when you have to take the postage back to them and the return to me ,anyway welder is now all repaired with a switch off eBay for £3.95 ,will not buy anymore silverline tools .

My friend were trying to loosen the bolt from hell. We used a number of sockets, Britool, Draper, Facom and we ended up damaging all of them to the point they wall split. In deperation from the local place we decided to go for the Silverline and were not hoping for much. It did the trick! Undamaged. However I purchased some spanners and a pressure sprayer/ Bleeder and it was awful so I am giving it 4 stars as thier sockets for the price was amazing. Sliverline one was £8. Mac tool was 6x the price.

Knapsack sprayer.
We kept being told we're in a 'climate crisis' - right? We should make less waste - right? So tell me, why is it that every time you buy a replacement product these days - it looks like it's ready for land-fill before it's even assembled? Silverline's 'knapsack sprayer'. What a piece of rubbish. The whole thing looks like it's been made for about $4. I've seen stronger plastic around fruit packaging! Total garbage. Won't last a month. Why don't they just recycle it before they ship it to you?

My Sander was just under the 3yr Warrantee when I purchased I'd forgot to register I contacted Sophie at Yeovil and explained the Issue the service that was given to me was 100% helpful, I'd like to thank Sophie for her help and the Silverline team in coming to a very helpful result, today I receive a new machine, that's a good result, again thank you.

Silverline tools are an absolute Con and waste of money.
They can't even get abrasive discs right!
None of their products are fit for purpose.
Stay away at all costs.

So having bought and used one of their belt sanders a couple times, writing a positive review etc recent events have completely changed my opinion. Upon using the tool for some light work it just stopped working, almost as if the plug socket had been turned off.....

Everything checked out ok and i ended up opening a warranty claim with the tool manufacturer since they were very local to my residential address, thats where the fun started!

1. I rang up and asked if i drop the unit into them for repair, was told yes, upon arrival was told no....
2. No contact made for 10 days, upon me contacting them again i was told they couldnt repair the unit (incompetant technicians) and would send me a replacement within 3-4 days
3. Over a week later, nothing arrived, i contacted them again and was told there was a delay in shipping my replacement and that it was going to be delivered the "next day"
4. 2 days later, no package, so i requested tracking details
5. 2 days later i get a response only to be told they dont actually have any stock to even send me a replacement!

Toolsream in yeovil (particulary "Laura") are completely and utterly useless
