BOOX Arvostelua 

The device itself is wonderful. Feeling much calmer and more immersed than when I use my smart phone or my computer. Sharp clear text and easy navigation. The color brings things to life a little though obviously not to the same degree as on a smart phone or a tablet. My only criticism is having to sign for the USPS delivery, which required someone to be home all day waiting. I have received other electronic devices without having to sign. Something to think about. Otherwise a great experience so far.

First, I would buy this again. Now let’s get to the experience.

My package was a week delayed getting to the post. My first report of the delay I was told patience, thankfully the second time someone from customer service checked on it and 2 hours later it was being shipped. So 1.5 week delay in shipping.

A week later it arrived (yes, 2.5 weeks from ordering). It isn’t easy to set up and if you’re used to ecosystems where your face or print gets you into everything, you’re going to spend some time setting it up.

The color screen is dark and because the device is small this matters, I didn’t understand that impact since my e-ink screens are 7 and 13 inches. But, you can optimize the refresh, color and lights to make it pleasant to read in - again, it takes some set up time to make reading enjoyable.

Now, for the use and why I will absolutely continue to keep a Boox. I have the Palma 2 Pro and she is my travel companion! I am an avid reader and this lets me have: Libby, Kindle, Kobo, Hoopla and Audible in my pocket! It lasts for an entire day of travel (keeping in mind I am not using the browser) without needing a charger. It doesn’t annoy my seat companion with content or lights. This is strictly an e-book for me so I can’t speak to browser performance or app use outside of setting the device up for reading and that was sufficient. I can grab books off of Project Gutenberg’ website and have a quick link on my Home Screen that works well. It’s perfect if you’re going to put your 7 e-readers in your checked luggage and want access to all of your stories!

I received a faulty product that broke within 30 minutes of use. Took a bit to get a hold of customer service, only to be told that I would need to pay an additional $335 USD on top of the over $600 USD I already paid. Apparently, a lot of people are having problems, as a simple search will show. Really sad, because this was such a great idea and I had been excited about using my boox when I went to chemo with my husband. Now I own a very expensive paperweight.

Update: Customer service reached out to me and offered to help pay for the shipping to get my boox repaired. I would still have to pay an additional $300 for repairs on a product that I got 1/2 hour of worth out of.

I bought 10.3 II Lumi. Got first gen 10.3 2 years ago. I love these devices, they are the best. No silly subscriptions or paying for storage. You transfer files in seconds on computer, phone, e-ink. You read, mobi, pdf, EPUB.
There's amazing geenric TTS. Everything is amazing. I actually made a mistake and ordered first gen, instead of second and asked to cancel and it was no problem at all. I understand there might be issues with delivery, but that's on the couriers, not the device. Recommend, recommend, recommend.

My shipment came quickly, and the product works great. I'm very happy with the battery life, and adding apps. The ereader is exactly what I wanted.

I ordered a BOOX Note Air5 C on August 2 with high expectations of receiving my package between "2 and 7 days". A label was created in the early hours of the next day (1:04 AM) which encouraged me that my package would soon be sent. However, three days went by without my package being turned over to USPS for shipment. The company said I could cancel my order as long as the order had not been turned over to the carrier so I requested cancellation. I received a denial to cancel because the company claimed that my package had been turned over to USPS. I checked USPS and they show they are still "awaiting the item" for shipment.
This lessens my confidence in anything being said by the company as being truthful. My recommendation is to purchase directly from Amazon rather than the company because Amazon has a trustworthy shipping policy. Apparently their association with Amazon takes precedence over their direct relationship with their customers.

Easy website navigation. Option to compare devices is so helpful. Having different devices to meet specific needs is wonderful. Being able to sell used items in the website is good because it's trust worthy verses 3rd parties

The Boox Go 7 is a fantastic experience. Its biggest strength is file compatibility and customization — it handles pretty much any format you throw at it, and uploading content is incredibly easy: just scan the QR code with the “Send to BOOX” feature and your files transfer instantly, no cables or apps needed. On top of that, the battery lasts a long time, so you’re not constantly recharging. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a flexible, no-hassle reading experience.

There was some issue with my order and the color. Boox got right on it and got it fixed. First time order, first rate customer support.

I never received the Boox air notepad. I emailed customer service twice and never got a response. Horrible customer service

Straightforward process, had everything I was looking for. Came with extra I'll probably never even use.

The size of the device is excellent, and I love that it is backlit and runs on Android. I also like that the backlighting has an adjustable warmth setting that can be used to turn the screen redder, which really makes it easier on the eyes. I’ve been using the device for reading and, after downloading Google Docs and attaching a third party keyboard, for word processing and have been satisfied. I’ve removed a star because the stylus experience isn’t great. I bought the stylus but haven’t been using it because of the lag when writing. My ideal device would be the size of the Box Go 7 Color Gen 2 but have a stylus experience like the Boox Note Air5 C: a higher quality writing experience, and a stylus that attaches to the device magnetically
