SheCodes was such a great experience! The workshops were easy to follow and super practical, which helped me feel more confident in my coding. I’ve learned so much that I can apply to real projects now. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to grow their skills!

They wouldn't accept me because I am a man, despite the fact that in their code of conduct it states:

"SheCodes is dedicated to providing a hospitable, friendly environment that will result in a good experience for all. At SheCodes, we have an expectation of inclusion - all individuals should be treated with respect. Everyone of all races, sexual orientations, genders, gender identities, backgrounds, disabilities, ages, ethnicities, religions, etc. should be accepted by one another. "

And there's nothing in their TOS stating explicitly that they refuse service to men.

It felt bad to be discriminated against, and I'm also a staunch support of gay rights, a feminist and ally.

But nevertheless I came back a few weeks later with a different e-mail address, I just put on a wig and some makeup and no problems whatsoever! The course is pretty good.

the courses are very well structured, i do enjoy practicing them a lot.

of course, some modules are pretty tough to understand, but on whole, I do think SheCodes offers a good course for those who wish to work in the IT field.

The lessons were short and just enough information to keep you engaged and not over whelmed. The cahlenges were a good opportunity to get some hands on experience.

Honestly, I was quite nervous about beginning the course, but the course's explanations and structured approach put my mind at ease. I not only learned about the coding structure but also gained the confidence to see all the opportunities that coding can offer. This course was an excellent foundation for my journey into the world of coding!

Non ho ancora finito il percorso, ci tengo a specificarlo, ma mi sta piacendo molto. Costa praticamente 1/5 di qualunque altro corso o bootcamp in italiano. Le lezioni sono in inglese molto seplice e risultano facilmente comprensibili. Sinceramente mi sta piacendo moltissimo e sento che sto imparando bene javascript, un passo alla volta. Sto anche migliorando sul fronte css ed è una bellissima cosa. Non mi è ancora mai successo di chiedere aiuto su slack, ma ho visto che le resposte sono celeri.

I had always thought that coding was hard and involved a lot of mathematics. However, when I came across SheCodes, I took a leap of faith and decided to learn how to code. My experience throughout Basics made me fall in love with coding, the lessons were amazing and made easy by Matt's great teaching, the challenges put me to test and improved my skills. Overall, it was a great experience and I look forward to the next level. Shecodes really is the best place to learn how to code!

The course is interactive and yo learn by doing.

The whole thing is a scam from the very first free "LIVE" seminar all the way to the certifications. The live seminar can be found on vimeo at any time...so you having to wait in a fake queue is just ridiculous and laughable at best. And ladies, this site has tracking pixels and tons of 3rd party cookies. It was built to track your every move online. They are tracking 3rd party cookies giving them session variables for google,microsoft, bing, tiktok, stripe, snapchat, facebook, cloudflare and others... While they do disclose it in their cookie policy, it shouldn't matter because i opted to not be tracked and only accepted "necessary" cookies, but apparently to them, everything you do online is their business. Why would this company need so much information about us if they are only offering coding workshops. Why would they need snapchat and tiktok and facebook trackers. They are even using tracking pixels which are 1px by 1px images that are tied to a script that tracks your internet goings-on. And guess what they are even tracking trustpilot.com sessions...Anyone can see this by going to the SheCodes site and logging in then just hit a few of the sites i mentioned, and go back to SheCodes, then open your devtools in Chrome or Edge (Ctrl+Shift+I) or F12, click the Application tab and check out your Session storage and Cookies. It is a pretty long list of cookies and session variables probably one of the longest lists of tracked sessions I have seen on a website in a while...and I have been a software engineer for 17 years. Trust me this site is crooked. I havent even begun to dig in to what their bugsnag-3.js and universal-script.js is capturing, but for now, Im just going to say if a company lies to you and says they are teaching a LIVE session and pretends to answer LIVE questions when the video is literally sitting on vimeo and can be watched at any time... well, thats not really being very truthful and doesnt give me much confidence to go any further with good ol' Matt. I want my hour back PLUS the 39 minutes I waited in the queue while watching the LIVE video on vimeo in another tab! and spoiler alert the FREE GIFT Matt promises you is Matt himself pretends to automate an email that will send you a 15% off coupon...but its really just triggered by watching the video in his video player.

I had so much fun learning how to code through the SheCodes foundation, I woke up every day excited about what I would learn. The content is set up in such a way that makes it easy to understand and it is practical from the beginning till the end, I learned by doing which I think is the best way. I highly recommend the workshops, they're fantastic!
