**Avoid SelfShip: no service, no support, no response**

Since SelfShip separated from Desertcart, it has become a completely different company, and an unethical one. The service is extremely poor and customer support has disappeared.

I contacted them and warned that I would file a complaint under US consumer protection law. More than 10 days later, I still have no reply.

I strongly advise anyone considering SelfShip not to use it. If you find out who owns the company now, I'd suggest avoiding anything else they run as well. A business that treats customers this way doesn't deserve them.

This scamming company must be seriously dealt with, keeping our packages and stealing our money without fulfilling our orders.

They received my package, got paid to ship. But they are not shipping, nor replying, and not even returning the package to the seller, and now I am stock with these scammers.

The ownership company name is Online World Ras Al khaima ARE.
CALL YOUR BANK AND RAISE A DISPUTE FOR FAILURE TO DELIVER.

First, if located in UAE raise a complain against them to Consumer Rights for frauds or misleading.

Second, report all their accounts in social media.

Third, give a one star review to DesertCart for transferring the ownership to such scammers after pulling us to their service, taking our details and information, trusting them with our packagesand money, then losing our packages and getting our money stolen.

And never trust them or deal with them.

They cannot even improve, they should just close down their operation! Been waiting for a month for my package and no response from their side.

I’ve ordered over 300 packages from SelfShip when it was owned by DesertCart.

Now that it’s under new ownership - my packages are stuck with them for over a week. Website is broken, customer support is non existent.

Don't order through this scam, it was working good while with desercart but they told they have separated but not sure if its true or not. I have been paying customer for long time. Its a scam someone please raise a fruadlent complain if you are in UAE against both desercart and selfship please. I have emailed them 7 times no reply at all and my valuable parcel is with them

Something is not right with current situation with this company.... No response from customer care team...no reply of emails also chat service is down... Website has been refresh look... Somebody please update what's going on.

Selfship got disassociated from Desert Cart and bought by this guy called Adil. These guys have no clue where their customers parcels are and they will keep coming up with excuses saying that the order has been delivered to the Desertcart address and that they will tag the desert cart team on an email but never end up doing it. There is a dude called Naved there who has no idea what is happening. He will respond when he feels like. Basically there is no face to this company and seems like Adil who owns it doesnt care. Their dubai address is fake and upon local investigation in dubai its owned by some random LLC or something. Basically the whole company is a scam and you will not get your parcel so do not order!

My shipment is still stranded with them, even though I paid for shipping a week ago. The portal still hasn't provided a tracking number, and 3 packages are still stranded. No one replies to my support emails, and the chat function seems disabled. They were so good in the past, and not sure what has gone wrong.

I have over 500 USD of packages stranded because neither the APP or website are working. A few days ago I requested via the help chat on the website for them to be released and shipped to me. They said they couldn't tweak any of my settings on the site. I told them their site wasn't working and I couldn't do it myself. Now not only is nothing working, the don't answer customer help emails, and the help center chat is no longer working. I WANT MY PACKAGES THAT ARE STRANDED IN THE DUBAI WAREHOUSE!

Was using selfship.com for a few years, mostly as a paid member. Not a perfect service, but had very good shipping rates from USA. Now that it has moved away from Desertcart (or so their support claims) the website platform is dead and my current packages are stranded with them. The Selfship.com website help chat was disabled as of earlier this week (30th Aug 2026) and zero response from the support email for the last 10 days. Even Desertcart support says they can't do anything to help get my packages to me. Stay Away!

Foolishly decided to use this service despite the plethora of negative reviews on here, won’t make that mistake ever again.

“Please allow 24-48 hours for packages to be registered in your account.” Is what is stated by SelfShip on their own website.

FedEx marked my package as delivered to the SelfShip US warehouse on the 30th of June, and to this day (16th of July) it hasn’t shown up in the website's warehouse. It is impossible to get into contact with anyone working directly in the warehouse.

Customer service is as horrible as it gets; I’ve contacted 4-5 different customer service workers (some of which are: Rejan & Shruti Verma) since my package was delivered, all of which have asked me to wait 24-72 hours for a response, which I would never end up getting.

Absolutely terrible experience. SelfShip received my two parcels in January 2026, and months later I am still waiting. Endless emails, endless excuses, and no resolution. Customer service has been completely ineffective. I deeply regret trusting this company with my shipments. Just awful !!!!!! Stay away from this company

Items missing from the first delivery and the 2nd delivery just not arriving. Absolutely terrible service. No phone contact. Bad communication. Staff who don't care.

If you insist on using this company you should consider it only for low value items that you don't mind being 'lost'.

I ordered a pair of shoes from this site and after 45 days they still have not arrived despite the tracking service stating they have been delivered?
Original advert indicating they were JD sports on line services and they provide cserviceatself-shopping.com as their customer services who are actually useless. It appears it obviously a scam and have now reported company to my bank.

This company takes no accountability for missing packages! Tracking will show that it arrived, but will say they don’t have it with zero resolution! Even though the website says they have liability up to $100! Don’t trust and don’t use selfship or desertcart!
