They get you by just signing up!! I did not get a confirmation before they charged my card for $45!! Ask to refund my money, as I did not receive a confirmation, they will only refund $31!! Total scam! I learned my lesson, but every time I purchase anything online, I get a confirmation BEFORE they run my card! Always!! Not this company, they are total BS! Called the BBB and reported as a scam, they couldn’t even find this company, their email for support has a different address then what the website shows, but my bank stated, if they don’t refund the entire amount, they will look into this and file a report against them.

I only put a one star rating on this because it's the only Way I can leave a review actually it 0 - 0 they just got me for $45 I signed up I put my card in in the automatically charge me 45 in some change after doing this they told me there was a 3 month plan but you had to put money to it which is actually charging you more then if you just paid for the minutes the other way I have spent hours on the phone Trying to put money on my phone I have been stressed to the point of tears being sit back to service 5 times in a row only to be told that they wanted to charge me 6 or $9 to take care of it this is a scam They are literally using the legal system to scam people and still money this is ridiculous something needs to be done news something because I have never been through anything so crazy in my life

Oct 2, 2020.. They just got me too. i was so desperate to get better rates that i didnt readd the reviews..HUGE MISTAKE!! I called back immediarely and no answer.. Got in a chat with them three times but didnt seem a real person either.. I hate that they take advantage in moments when you are in need due to your loved one being incacerated.. I am so sad that people like this exist and so pissed!!.. I want my REFUND!

They are unscrupulous jerks , they claim to be trying to help you contact loved ones that are incarcerated. You think you're paying money for phone calls that your loved ones will call you and use it as an account to draw from but it is not it is fraud and I feel the attorney general should get involved and shut this down. Do not and I repeat do not give these jerks one cent.

On Sept 8th, I unknowingly processed a payment for what I thought was MINUTES adding to my phone for $45.98. It was a phone number, I do not need a phone # and I immediately requested a CREDIT and CANCELLATION of the account and the phone number immediately, The cancelation of the account was immediate and the charges were still taken out of my bank account. Now, I am calling into csr and they will refund, ONLY $31.00 a $14.00 non refundable charge (which is not stated anywhere and they admit that). I will forward this to The FTC and The BBB. Do not purchase from this company, the phone number is USELESS and you still pay seperate for the MINUTES on a seperate account and save NOTHING. Do not waste 50 bucks! My minutes are .21cents a minute, cheap Without this phone number SCAM!

This company goes by several names, Securtel, Jail talk services LLC, and so on. At this time they charge $45.98 and will only refund $31 if you can find a way to talk to the only lady (foreigner) that works there. It’s based out of Florida, not Texas, even though Texas is where they claim their office is. Anyway, I’m writing this review to explain how to her your full refund if you also made the mistake of trying to use their fraudulent service... the Better business bureau will handle the case for you, and after a couple of days you will get a full refund.

I thinking that I'm getting a deal with using securtel that I'm be talking to my boyfriend for 3 month unlimited I knew it was to good to be true. So the number they gave me I gave to my boyfriend he tired the number didnt work. So I requested a refund after not receiving my refund in 24 hr I called them trying to get an understanding of what I was paying for and why I havent received my refund. She telling me that the 45.98 was just for a number to use n that I will still have to pay Securustech. Such a RIP off. So I ask for a refund instead of giving me my 45.98 they charge me 14.98 for a number that I didnt use n refunded me $31 back. So either way they still get something out the deal. Stick to Securustech..

I setup an account on 8/5/2020. I was charged $45.98 that I wasn’t trying to pay. I emailed about a refund. Supposed to be in 48hrs. Nothing yet!! I set up correct account with SECURUS Tech- Advanced Connect. Please refund my money.

I never write reviews but I'm truly hurt...I thought I was signing up for securus only for them to charge $45 with no authorization. This is completely fraudulent and hope this mfs get caught. This is so wrong on so many levels...then they send me an email with the link to securustech only to find out I have zero, zich, nada in my account after paying $45. I'm so mad.... I can't even see the cancel account feature 🤬🤬🤬😡😡😡😡😡 I NEED MY REFUND

Scammers they charged $45.98 for a account that you don't need. Don't waste your time. You don't need this account. Go directly through Securus if you want to keep in touch with your loved ones, not SecurTel!!

I wish there were an option for no stars, this is the worst scam ever! Never agreed to the amount and will continue with trying to receive a refund just because of my pride. I see them taking advantage of people that are hurting for money and needing to speak to family behind bars which in my opinion is work for demons that are surrounding us all today!!

U think u are logging into or setting up an account and you are actually filling out info for being billed $45.98 for the 90 day BULL ssssheeet service they offer that doesn't affect the cost of phone calls fr jail at all.no matter what ur calls from jail will be the exact same cost per minute with or without this Secur tel.us!!! PLEASE DON'T GET RIPPED OFF LIKE SO mANY HAVE! I'm currently trying to get 45.98 refunded to my account but after reading all the negative reviews I highly doubt that's gonna happen!!!

So you know securus tech and securtel is the same company after setting up an account with securus tech securus tel took my information and charge $45 to my account when I spoke with customer service securus tech they claim they know nothing about that company they're not affiliated at all but that's a lie they took my information and they gave it to them that's how they were able to make the transaction I spoke with someone at the jail and I was told everybody that's been robbed by this company needs to go downtown and file a complaint so that their contract with that phone company can be canceled and they would have to find a new company to deal with in the middle of a pandemic covid-19 i can't believe these people have done this a lot of families are hurting laid off we are all struggling I can't believe these people would stoop so low to take money from us like this. I was advised to cancel my debit card and I did that and I hope you do the same as well.

This is the worst service ever the two phones calls i accepted through this site the first call its was all gravelly an could not hear the person she hangup an made a second call I talked four costed me 60.00 I highly don't recommend this site to anyone terrible service. This company preys on people who want to stay in contact with their loved ones who are offenders in TDCJ. What they do is have the website set up to where you're not even aware you're being charged you think you're setting an account up and they charge $45 and some change. You get no service from them you only get your money robbed from you. There's no customer service to speak of the only way they say you can contact them is via email. The email get you absolutely nowhere. So if you value your money stay away from this scamming ridiculous company.
