A good experience with SMD! We just got back from Milan and had a wonderful time at San Siro. The only thing I would say is that the original flights we were booked onto really did not maximise the time we could spend in the city (a very late outbound flight on Saturday evening) and so I had to pay extra to change them. It did all end up being pretty expensive but hey ho. It wouldn’t put me off booking again, perhaps for a ‘sillier’, cheaper non-Top 4 weekend, as the general product is great and well produced.

First time Secret Matchday booking and this will take some beating. Absolutely unreal experience taking our godson away for his 21st birthday. First time to Poland too and while we had some reservations about Ryanair and Stansted the travel was all top-notch, no delays and quickly through. Poznan was beautiful, cheap and appealing - we opted to get our own accommodation which was one street away from the main square.

The whole process with SMD was perfect though and the documentation and info provided was spot-on. I was worried the match tickets might not be in the best area of the ground but how wrong could I be?! We were bang smack in the middle of the home end, second tier behind the goal. Some ultras even came down each row with tins collecting for their tifo funds! Got given massive flags to wave and the pyros got lit up around us as the team came out.

Poznan won 2-0, a solid performance, however we were surprised by the lacklustre celebrations when they scored - no limbs!

£3-4 pints around Poznan and a lively nightlife scene topped this perfect trip off and one we wouldn’t have made if it wasn’t for Secret Matchday, thank you!

We had a lovely weekend away to Lille to see Lille vs Lens. Unfortunately, we had some trouble with our return travel due to strikes in Belgium. However, Secret match day were very helpful with finding alternative routes and responded very quickly whenever we had any questions. Thank you!!

What an experience, great communication throughout and planning provided was over anything we expected, would highly recommend, and we will be going on many more based of our first experience.

SMD delivered on everything - we opted for a Big 4 package ex Dublin and ended up in Turin for Torino and Milan. Early & late flight times meant we had three days to spend in this great city. All the detail landed exactly as expected - will be delighted to use SMD again and recommend to friends. Well done folks, this is a great product.

So, my second booking with Secret Match Day and yet again they came up with the goods...this time in sunny Budapest.

Was there a great deal of thought given to our destination? - YES
Was the information sent useful, relevant and timely? - YES
Was the hotel up to scratch and sensibly located? - YES
Was the level of customer service excellent and prompt? - YES
Were Secret Matchday responsible for me choosing a dodgy backstreet Thai restaurant which gave me food poisoning? - NO (but I bet they would have helped mop my fevered brow had I asked)

Another great weekend, these guys know what they are doing and I will be booking again once I convince my wife that alcohol had no part to play in my illness whatsoever!

Had our second SMD trip. This time to Budapest - well organised and SMD offered us an extra night due to unfavourable flight times at no extra cost. Cannot recommend enough SMD. Great service, excellent choice of city, and atmosphere at the match was superb.

Cannot speak highly enough about the level of customer service provided by Secret Matchday. Due to awkward flight times we were offered an extra nights stay in Budapest at no extra cost. Obviously we took advantage of the offer and had a great time enjoying the city before making our way to the home of Újpest. The locals seemed delighted if slightly baffled as to why were there to see the Violets but we were made to feel welcome. One of the great things about this experince is watching how other fans behave when supporting their team and the Újpest ultras were fantastic for the whole game. We are already planning dates for our next secret matchday.

Our second trip with SMD to Budapest was just as great as out first. Our match was Ujpest v Puskas Academy. Bit of a drab 1-1 draw, but great atmosphere due to the fanatical Ultras who never stopped chanting. Budapest is a fantastic City and the weekend was perfect for us as a combo of football and great city. Also very impressed that they offered us an extra night at no extra cost. And also great customer service when we had a minor issue checking in for our flight home. We will be back! Thanks SMD.

We opted for The Obscurer package as we were excited by some of the unusual destinations/stadiums that others had posted about and the description of this experience as being for “football fans with a thirst for adventure … craving truly offbeat experiences.”
We were therefore somewhat disappointed when it was revealed that our secret matchday was in Dublin - a city we’d already visited a few times before - and that the match in question was being played at the national stadium rather than an obscure, quirky ground.
We still had a great time though and couldn’t fault the organisation of the trip. Our hotel was in an excellent location for the stadium and located near good transport links into the city. The seats in the stadium gave us a good view but were located in a neutral zone. Potentially a more exciting matchday experience could have been had if we had been in amongst the Bohemians fans.
We would give it another go though as we’d always look forward to the opportunity of watching a match and exploring a new location 👍

Highly recommend- will definitely plan another weekend! Great communication and organisation- destination guide very helpful in advance- the match itself was brilliant, tickets could not have been in a better spot!

Had a great trip to Monchengladbach in February with SMD and the top 4 leagues option. One adult and 2 kids aged 10 and 13, flights in and out of Dusseldorf, we booked our own accommodation a week in advance of the trip. Destination Guide provided great information on how to get to and from the match. Everything taken care of and always quick to respond to any queries I had in the build up to the trip. Would 100% use again as its a great way to see matches around Europe.

Our secret matchday was at Bayer 04 Leverkusen.

The trip was easy to book and the destination guide was very helpful to enable us to book places to visit including a ground tour of FC Koln.

Transport links were easy to get around where we wanted to go

This was our second secret matchday and we are already thinking about one for next year.

We had a great time in Bremen for their game against Borussia Monchengladbach. An early start but that gave us plenty of time to find our bearings around the city. The hotel was excellent, and very convenient. The seats in the stadium were good. The information pack emailed to us was very helpful. All in all a superb experience which I highly recommend.

Had a fantastic experience , My son and I done a Champions League game and was given Barcelona v Benfica .. Good flight times and great tickets ..

We ended up going to Copenhagen and had a great time. Booking the trip was seamless and the destination guide was very helpful in showing us things to do in the city. This was my second time booking and will definitely be going again.

Amazing experience in Poznan. using SMD makes the experience effortless as the flights, hotel and tickets are all sorted for you, only downside was the hotel room having 1 double bed and 1 fold out small bed, for two adult males unsure if that was a oversight by SMD or just the Hotel room availability. Overall will be using SMD again

Thanks to the team at secret match day for organising our trip last weekend. They could not have made it easier for us get our trip booked and we’re always on hand to answer any questions we had. The team handled 15 of us travelling altogether and even managed to coordinate flights to Krakow for us from 2 different countries.

Before we travelled, we were provided with an excellent information pack about our destination city with tips on how to get around, what to do on match day and what attractions to visit on our extra day in the city.

Everyone from our group is already looking forward to our next surprise destination and we’ll certainly be using secret match day again for future trips.

We booked our mysterty trip last September for 9 of us, and we have spoken about our trip for last 6 months, obviously alienateing our better halves🤣, we have just come back from Poznan, 🇵🇱 where we went to catch the Lech Poznan game , and did that deliver, a totally unique experience and incredible atmosphere, giant flags that covered the crowd, where we did the "Poznan" in Poznan with the Lech Ultras. The city was nice to walk around, old cobble stone streets, beautiful buildings , nice food, Beer and the sun 🌞 was out, could not had a better weekend, so thank you , the booking process was excellent, the customer service is second to none , my friends and I would definitely recommend the guys here to sort you out, we will definitely be booking against, thank you
