a total waste of money and time
It was a total waste of money and time. I purchased 2 park admission tickets and 2 all you can eat tickets. My husband and I only had 2 meals of chicken tenders, fries, a cold hard pizza and a drink. At 4:30 they made an announcement that the park was closing at 5 to get ready for Howl-O-Scream. Every restaurant and most rides were already preparing to close. We didn't get to see any animal shows, eat at other restaurants or enjoy more than 3 rides. What a waste, Do not get the all you can eat band. The food options are slim to none, (terrible). By the way, after paying 268.00 for 2 tickets, 59.00 each for the 2 all you can eat tickets, I had to pay 39.40 for parking. I wouldn't mind the cost if I had the experience I was expecting. Never again!!!!!
Amazing
SeaWorld is amazing I met SpongeBob yes I know it's a costume but I love it the ninja turtle rides are amazing definitely a 5 star
Totally ripped off
Very disappointed this time around. Came from UK with granddaughter and nephew. First of all our tickets that were printed at the "Express" windows - only 4 out of 9 worked printed the tickets wrong and the barcode overlapped. Tami in Voyager was a saint who read and typed every one of the ticket numbers in individually as we had the diner thing. No way though was I standing in the guest services queue to get new tickets so we managed one meal as well which wasn't the best! Thought I would buy a photokey and use lots of opportunities with the animals and rides. Managed the Penguin Trek, although way round was really weird this time. Took photos of the QR codes for the photos cause it was going to be $10 a photo to download. So got in the queue for Journey to Atlantis that said just 25 minutes - miracle. No, it was more 2 hours. We missed lots of characters on meet & greets. It was in the queue that I bought the PhotoKey thinking we could get more. Finally got on the ride, the one photo at the end. Then because of inclement weather and the fact we'd stood for 2 hours, nothing else was on. No-one explained to me that I had to register this at a booth so what I had on my phone wouldn't work. Again, I took a photo of the QR code. So spent over $80 for 4 photos that would have cost $40 - and I don't even have them, the album is empty. I have written, emailed, tweeted many times now and no-one is responding. All I was offered was another entry day with dining for the party. We still had all the other parks to do so that wasn't an option. Now no-one is answering me at all. Waste of money and a very very bad experience. Hopefully someone will pick it up here but I'm not holding my breath
Racism at the Dolphin Experience only the 2 white fed the dolphin out of 7 ppl, 5 black!!
We purchased 3 tix to the Dolphin Experience on 8/8 for the 3pm show. She had 7 people in her group. From the start she spoke only to one party of 2. Mind you there were 7 people in her group. Only those 2 got near his head and fed the dolphin, THE ENTIRE BUCKET!!! After my grandbaby cries because she didn't get to feed it or see it's face, the tour guide asked someone else to let the 5 black people feed the dolphin because she somehow forgot them.
I want a new experience or a refund.
Very disappointed in Sea World and Fun…
Very disappointed in Sea World and Fun Ex, we purchased 3 tickets through Fun Ex, my employer provides discount on tickets through them. It was suppose to be a fun experience taking our grandson before school started. Tickets were for two days, and our second day to use 7 days after. We took our grandson on Friday July 31, 2026 and have our $42. parking receipt stamped with the time 11:41 AM . Sea World had a power outage by 12PM, we had to leave the park soon after. We’re told to contact them by email to receive other new tickets, as power was out therefore computers down. Did both email and called Sea world on 8/1/ 2026 spoke to Iris who said call my third party Fun Ex and also summit on Sea Worlds support contact for the 3 tickets for another day. It is now 8/19/26 and both Fun Express and Sea World to make it right. Sea Worlds customer service is the worse! Not to mention the whole experience. I understand things happen under our control, but Sea World needs to make it right. I have emails and pictures taken from summiting on there website. Also telephone calls to success. We understand as adults, but try a young boy who all he wanted was the experience.
Disgusting attitude from staff ruined the experience!
Went to SeaWorld as part of our vacation to Florida for one of our parties’ birthday. Understandably we could not go on the rides for quite some time due to the weather. We went to the flame grill bar for shelter waiting the heavy rain; thunder & lightning to pass.
During their happy hour, my wife went to get a drink at the bar and was served. 20 mins later after going to get another round she was then asked for ID by a different member of staff. We didn’t carry our passports but I had my drivers licence on me which wasn’t acceptable because I didn’t order the drinks myself. My wife is 40 years old and I’m 38 so it made completely no sense why one individual decided to play sherif. They also refused to accept a photo of our passports and demanded physical copies.
This individual was so rude, passive aggressive and patronising and wasn’t prepared to listen so I asked for a manger. He want inside for 5 mins to tell me that their was no manager available which was a lie and I could tell they just couldn’t be bothered to confront me. I asked again to go find the manger because at this point the guy who refused to serve us told me “I’m not going to find my manger during happy hour”
My whole argument was that my wife had already been served so their policy of challenge 30 has already been broken by their own staff proving no consistency in their own rules.
When the manager finally came out to speak to me, there was no how can I help or what seems to be the issue: he had a jumper slung over his shoulder, shirt untucked and was completely unprofessional and didn’t even acknowledge what had happened. Having explained myself for what felt like the 20th time the manager ‘Carlos’ took zero accountability or responsibility was smiling and not looking me in the eye and just said “it’s not my job to check what the staff are doing and if I wasn’t happy about it I could go to guest services” which I find baffling because if he was the so called manager why are you not handling complaints.
I must of spent about half an hour arguing my point that if someone in the team had already served my wife alcohol and I myself had shown ID, why are they refusing to serve us. It ended by the manager just walking away from me mid conversation which again was so rude and unprofessional.
The whole time we were there as part of a large group my other family members were being served with some context were 10+ years younger than my wife and I so it just felt like they wanted to be funny with just certain people.
Around half an hour later I decided to order more drinks from another member of staff to save the headache of being spoken to by someone incompetent of providing any level of customer service. This other staff member ‘Chris’ decided to also get involved and refused to serve me because “I was being disrespectful to his boss” completely dumbfounded, I asked why he wouldn’t serve me and again was treated like I had said something about his mother the way he was going on. Aggressive in body language, tone and sarcastic behaviour all because I addressed a flaw in their own practice.
I know the park is about the rides and the experience but for me, the way I was treated was disappointing and disgusting and I would never step foot in that place again!
Horrendous Orlando experience. Cannot be compared to Abu Dhabi
Absolutely shocking theme park. I thought some of the UK parks were abit ropey but this one takes the prize. From the absolutely filthy toilets and restaurants, to the horrendous attitude of staff. The only way to ride if you have a fanny pack is by paying for a $7 locker. I even asked if I could stand with the bags and when the kids came off whether I could go on, and was told no. Another member of staff took a fast pass off me when there was no queue in the standard queue and when I said well surely I’m entitled to the pass back he said well you thought the queue was shorter when you entered so I can’t give it you. After much back and fourth he gave it me back to then tell me just as I was about to ride I couldn’t put my Fanny pack in the basket on the side of the ride and I’d need to walk all the way back through the entrance. When my wife pointed out multiple people with the same size fanny pack we’re about to board he shrugged and laughed with a colleague.
Honestly if this park is still under the same management and operation in a decade I’ll be shocked. It’s in such a terrible state of operational disorganisation and anti consumer compared to the likes of Disney. Plus the loud dj music at 5pm next to the animal conservation really optimisises how they truly treat the animals.
I’d encourage anyone from the uk considering wasting their hard earned cash to give it serious consideration and visit alternate parks.
Don’t waste your money on Seaworld
We decided to give Seaworld a try this year during a visit to Orlando in July.
What a disappointment. Overpriced tickets and food. Disinterested and quite frankly rude staff who have obviously never heard of the phrase customer service. Long queues at food outlets and the staff seemed to be on a go slow with no sense of urgency. Particularly poor experience at Captain Pete’s Hotdogs. Queued for 35 minutes, glum staff, then took ages for our food to come out. I complained to ‘Manageress’ Aaliyah who just laughed at me. I did consider complaining properly at Guest Services on way out but queue was too long (presumably with fellow complainers) and I couldn’t be bothered waiting. All outside rides and last (of 2) Orca shows cancelled after the ‘threat of thunder’. This resulted in a 80 minutes queue for only ride which operates during bad weather.
For a family of 6 this was an expensive day out.
But worst of all was how dirty the whole park area was. Litter everywhere, filthy toilets and no effort made to clean tables once guests have eaten. They should take a leaf out of Disney’s book where managers go round picking up litter. Seaworld should send all their staff to the Disney training school.
The poor animals are in enclosures far too small for them. It was sad to see and I wish I’d never gone.
Don’t waste your money on Seaworld. Go to Disney or Universal instead.
The customer service is trash over the…
The customer service is trash over the phone. They are sarcastic rude abd must be common practice for them to charge your card whenever they feel like it and can only offer an apology but no refund.
Used to be great, but now unfortunately not
We have visited Sea World every time we have been to Orlando, but won’t be going back again. Whilst the rollercoasters are great, the staffing is poor and worst of all. They now don’t allow you to take bags onto a ride and y out have to use lockers at $5 per locker or $14 for multi use locker. The locker also incurs a $14 fee if you go over the 2 hours. This is bad but the locker system doesn’t work, so you constantly have to wait for a member of staff to try to resolve the issue.
It just feels like they are trying to get as much money as they can out of you once you are in the park, $15 for a beer and $21 for two ice creams at the dolphin show. Such a shame that the owners have taken this path as the park could be great.
2 Hour Entry
Arrived at International exit to general SeaWorld Park area at 10AM actual park entrance at Noon. All traffic entryways to enter the park were overwhelmed. After finally making it to the parking lot booth we were told that as Annual Pass Holders (Silver) we would be required to pay $33 to park in the parking lot!? Whoever has made this executive decision has failed their customer base. Declined to pay, entered parking lot which still had plenty of spots open in general parking. This visit and the lack of customer support to just enter the park has helped me to determine I will no longer be the owner of any season pass to SeaWorld Orlando.
Would not recommend
My family and I traveled from Canada and visited SeaWorld Orlando on May 2, 2026, as a special experience for our four-year-old daughter before our cruise vacation.
Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. On our first visit, we spent a long time waiting for rides before the park was impacted by a tornado watch and heavy rain. We completely understand that weather is outside of SeaWorld’s control, but we were unable to experience most of the park or enjoy many rides. We requested a refund but were instead offered return tickets, which we appreciated, and the only day we could return was May 10.
Sadly, our second visit was also heavily impacted by weather delays and ride closures. After waiting approximately 75 minutes for one ride, operations stopped again due to a thunderstorm warning. The only rides we were really able to enjoy were in Sesame Street Land, and we even missed the Sea Lion show we had been looking forward to because of the delays. By the end of the day, our toddler was exhausted, and we left feeling frustrated and disappointed.
What made the experience even harder to accept was the overall cost. We paid around $800 for my husband, myself, and our 4-year-old, and in the end we only managed to go on two Sesame Street rides and eat there. Between tickets, add-ons, dining plans, and parking fees ($50 per visit) for both visits, the value simply wasn’t there. I completely understand that theme parks are businesses and need to make a profit, but there is a difference between making a profit and making guests feel taken advantage of. Charging nearly $70 for stroller rentals, overpriced food that was honestly disappointing, and requiring paid lockers just to go on rides really added to the frustration.
On top of that, many staff members throughout the park seemed unhappy and uninterested in helping guests. Customer service felt cold and unwelcoming, which made the overall experience even more disappointing.
I truly understand that weather cannot be controlled, and I appreciate that SeaWorld provided return tickets after our first visit. However, after two separate attempts where we were still unable to properly experience the park, it felt like very poor value for the amount spent.
This was supposed to be a memorable family experience during our vacation, but unfortunately it turned into a stressful and disappointing one.
Was such a disappointment
Was such a disappointment. Rude staff very overpriced food. Shows were poor and just a very bad atmosphere. Paid for the beluga whale experience for my daughter and it was terrible such a waste of money and a day of our holiday in orlando. WC.260317.06.950.00011
Letting Kids See These Animals Up Close Is Important!
We took a trip to San Diego last week with our preschooler and our day at SeaWorld was the highlight of the week! We did the Dine with Orcas lunch and I don't know why anyone would have lunch anywhere else in the park! It's barely more expensive than a normal amusement park lunch, but it's a buffet (at least in San Diego, other parks might be different) and the orcas are right there!
We also booked an up-close encounter with the beluga whales, which was delightful all around! Our daughter is real into Raffi's Baby Beluga right now. She LOVED the whole day!
Too many people have let themselves be emotionally manipulated by a documentary that's designed to be emotionally manipulating. Try talking to the actual trainers and see them work with the animals they love.
Most importantly, kids need to be able to go to these sorts of parks and see these amazing animals up close. They'll fall in love with them and people take care of the things they love. So, I'm glad that we went and kindled a love of marine life in our daughter's heart.
We'll be happy to check out the other SeaWorlds in Orlando and San Antonio too. :)
Fraudulent Transactions
I got multiple fraudulent debit card transaction on Oct 27th 2025 that I am still disputing with my bank. $369.17 from SeaWorld San Antonio and $349.95 from SeaWorld San Diego. SeaWorld is telling my bank this is a valid transaction because SeaWorld has my Name, phone, email, billing address, and card info. All of that is public info except my card info, which was stolen. I have since disabled my Debit Card, but SeaWorld insists this is a valid charge. I need help from someone at SeaWorld to make this right.
A $200 Nightmare; Tech Failures and Filthy Facilities!
We traveled all the way from Norway to visit SeaWorld Orlando, and it was the biggest disappointment of our Florida trip. We spent nearly $200 per person on tickets, All-Day Dining and Quick Queue, but the "premium" experience was a total disaster.
The SeaWorld app refused to recognize our tickets all day. It kept telling us to "buy tickets" just to see the map or wait times. I spent the entire day fighting with my phone, which drained my battery and left us wandering the park blindly.
We paid for All-Day Dining but only managed to eat once. We waited 60 minutes in line for a burger and fries that were cold and tasteless. Because of the long lines and the fact that the pass doesn't work at the Food Festival booths, we wasted hours of our vacation standing in food lines.
The Quick Queue system is poorly managed. Staff let lines get mixed, and worse, they sent out roller coasters with empty seats while the lines were huge. It was a total lack of efficiency.
The restrooms were a disaster—gross, wet paper everywhere, and overflowing trash. It was disgusting and clearly not being cleaned.
Mako and Pipeline are great rides, and the Sea Lion feeding was fun, though it is sad to see the collapsed dorsal fins on the orcas compared to how they would be in the wild.
As international tourists, we saved up for this trip for a long time. To have our time and money wasted by technical errors and poor management was a big disappointment and I'm never gonna spend our money here again or recommend it to anybody.
Save the money and stay at home.
1/1/26 I love sea world years ago .
1/1/26 I love sea world years ago. But now the getting worse. Last night the Dj. Was horrible don't know how to mix playing 80 music. Dj. Ira I think. Look like a kid was playing with the mixer .Restroom dirty no toilet paper. Bad smell too. Trash can fulls. Food very little for the price. Everything over priced. No that many decor look sad . Very little employee.
I purchased multiple individual four…
I purchased multiple individual four for $25 Animal Feeding Stations online. Yesterday I went to SeaWorld Orlando with only one printed copy for a four for $25 Animal Feeding Station. This should have only printed 4 individual tickets but I noticed she was printing more. She stopped printing once I said something but at this point she had already printed more tickets then I asked for.
She printed 24 tickets. I only used the four I was planning on using. The problem is they all expired yesterday and when I called to get this fixed, I was hung up on. I called back was told if I gave an order number, they would get me a manager but then just transferred me to a phone survey. I am now on hold waiting for manager and as of this moment with no resolution. Has this happened to anyone else? And what are my legal options?
