Trabajo en investigación clínica y la plataforma SciSpace (PubGenius Inc.) se promociona como un asistente de Inteligencia Artificial diseñado para apoyar la preparación y mejora de manuscritos científicos. El 9 de febrero de 2026 accedí al dominio de scispace y solicité la revisión de un manuscrito que estaba preparando, específicamente para mejorar su calidad gramatical y para recibir ayuda con la generación precisa de la bibliografía para las citas en el texto—servicios que su empresa anuncia como de los mejores disponibles.

Tras enviar mi documento, la plataforma generó varios archivos de salida. Sin embargo, se me exigió contratar una suscripción anual para poder acceder a ellos. Decidí proceder con el pago, esperando no solo mejoras para el artículo actual, sino también apoyo para futuros proyectos de investigación a lo largo del año.

Una vez completado el pago, descargué los archivos generados. Tras una revisión cuidadosa, comprobé que prácticamente no se habían realizado mejoras significativas en la edición del manuscrito. La calidad general del texto permanecía sin cambios. Más preocupante aún, existen referencias proporcionadas que parecen ser inventadas. Varias citas no existen, los coautores indicados son incorrectos, una referencia parece haber sido generada bajo mi propio nombre y algunos títulos no aparecen en PubMed. Además, ciertas citas de revistas y rangos de páginas no corresponden a ninguna publicación existente y, en algunos casos, los números de página se sitúan entre dos artículos no relacionados.

El servicio prestado no se corresponde con lo anunciado en su página web, especialmente en lo relativo a la precisión y fiabilidad de la generación de bibliografía. Como investigador, la provisión de referencias inventadas o inexactas representa un problema grave.

Overall great product. Chose the Premium version. You can find good prompts on the internet. Very good literature research and well structured replies.

The best experience for me was the support tho. When i encountered some problems with my subscription status i reached out to them and the problem was solved within hours …on a sunday. Really friendly and helpful team.

Very irritating AI platform for many reasons, and way over priced for what you get. I have to run and rerun the same scripts over and over again because it does not follow directions properly. Also, its too liberal in its discourse which is not appropriate for scientific papers and the like. DO NOT RECOMEND AT ALL. Also, I hate the credit system they use, which is allocated each month. So if you run out in the middle of a run you need to wait for the next month to finish it. So $hite all around this platform.

I accidentally signed up for a year. I contacted the team and told them I wanted to sign up for a month. They corrected my subscription in their system and refunded me the difference. I was able to pay rent on time as a result of this change. Thanks all.

The agents are helpful and quick to respond. I have to admit, Scispace is one of the best AI tools I have used so far, the only issue I had is that it is a little bit pricey, especially for students without any funding.

I have used Scispace in early 2025 using a free platform. Its interesting to use Scispace as it made my academic works more enhanced. On November 2025 I decided to subscribe and paid the premium package.
Today, as I was in the midst of going for my presentation, suddenly I couldn't download my presentation. I thought that my subscription had lapsed, and there was a prompt for me to pay to continue downloading. I paid then, after the presentation, I noticed that mysubscription is still valid. I reported to Scispace and request for refund of the second payment, and they responded immediately. I thought my money is gone, but then refund it immediately. Whata great experience!

I love that sci space could help me read and analyze a lot of research papers in the same time.

scispace.com is improving in customer care and delivering the promised product. Despite the challenges of accessing a larger research database, it is still capable of producing a reliable output.
