Incorrect payment
Recently went on a spa day. The massage was great and I wanted to treat my daughter to one the following week. I pre paid at reception. The lady serving me was lovely & checked the price twice as it was coming up as £39.00 however travelZoo was showing us £29 so she checked with another colleague and said I’m going to charge you what it’s stated online,
The following day I received an email stating I owed a further £20 upon appointment.
I explained it had been pre paid and agreed however the person emailing said it was a mistake and needed to be paid.
I didn’t think this experience was great at all especially considering it was my second time back that week & the price error wasn’t my fault.
I won’t be going back here again.

I understand you were given the incorrect price for the Travelzoo offer by one of our Therapists at Schmoo in the city. I also am aware that Kirsty our Bookings Manager contacted you as soon as she was made aware of this to try and explain what had happened. The correct price for the Travelzoo offer is £39.00 - which is fantastic value for what is included - this can be checked on the Travelzoo website.
Our Therapists don't normally get involved with Bookings as this is now handled by our Bookings Team - so I do apologise for the confusion over the price...but it is a shame that you do not want to revisit as you had such lovely treatment in your previous visit to the spa.
