Not waterproof, not suitable for straight to car, misleading
Market their swim parkas as having "Car Seat Protection: Crafted from high-quality treated, showerproof fabric, it keeps car seats dry after swimming, water sports, or outdoor adventures." it's not waterproof and seats get wet instantly. if you dig further you find in the FAQ that they say they're not waterproof and instead showerproof, "Our parkas are shower-proof, not fully waterproof.
Over time, normal wear, washing, or wearing the parka while heavily saturated (e.g., straight after swimming) can reduce the water resistance of the outer layer. In some cases, moisture may transfer through. This is considered normal wear and not a fault in the garment"
So my massive long 1km drive home my car seat gets wet. Useless.
