I spoke this morning with Chi Cameron, as I had made an error on moving funds, via my mobile phone, from my Bank to Saffron Building society. I had made an error on my Saffron account number. Chi was extremely helpful, noted down the issue, and contacted the payment team. Within a few minutes, the issued had been resolved. I was impressed with her attention to detail and her ability to resolve my error.

They have offices that are open with pleasant and knowledgeable staff. We don't have to "Do it. On line" and the face to face interaction is why we use Saffron Walden Building Society.
We also completed our wills and power of attorney which were recommended by the investment staff whilst arranging our Isa's.

I phoned Saffron because I received a text to say I had requested to withdraw money from an account I hold with them. I had not made any request and I wanted to make sure my money was safe.
