I ordered the Britax Max safe pro 2. Unfortunately it wasn't dispatched in the time I expected. I sent a message on the WhatsApp number attached to the Facebook group. I received a response promptly, explaining that she had been away and there had been an issue on the ETA of their Britax order. An alternative was offered at a discounted rate (a better seat) which I accepted. It was dispatched the next day, and delivered the next. Thank you so much!
Everyone faces issues now and then, it must be tough trying to navigate an issue like this during the summer holidays. I had originally worried when the Britax wasn't dispatched but my faith has been restored! Thank you again.

Really poor communication from Sarah.
I ordered a car seat on 05/07 from safe journey car seats which was out of stock everywhere other than here. Upon ordering the confirmation email stated 7-10 working day timeframe which was fine. On 08/07 I received an email from Sarah stating that they were due to receive the seat from the supplier the end of that week and that it would be dispatched immediately after that.
That time passed and I emailed twice, once on 16/07 and again on 21/07. Still no response from anyone.
I had no response from their Instagram DMs or live chat and only got a response on 23/07 once I had telephoned and then WhatsApped the number I found on their Facebook page.
Sarah stated that the seat hadn’t actually been delivered to them yet and hadn’t bothered to communicate this to me until I repeatedly hounded her for updates. She said it won’t be in for several months. She said she prides her company on her good communication. She denied receiving my emails until i sent her screenshots of these and she stated they must have gone to their outbox which she said is a known problem, yet doesn’t regularly check this? She said that she had communicated with me when she said the seat would be with her the end of the week (several weeks ago and untrue).
She then offered me a different seat at what she said was “heavily discounted” but it’s £15 less than she’s just put it on sale for?
Sarah was overall blunt and in my opinion quite rude to someone who’s now had to buy another seat from elsewhere whilst awaiting a refund from her.
Wouldn’t recommend at all.

Great communication and speedy delivery. Used 3 times now. Once face to face in Stourbridge and twice for delivery.

Website said next working day on most orders.

Emailed after 3 days to ask an E.T.A, no response

Emailed again after 5 days no response

Phoned multiple times no answer

Left voicemail no return call.

Asked my credit card to sort out a refund.

This company shouldn't be in business!!!

As a business owner myself I understand it's difficult to keep up at busy times but to completely ignore emails and phone calls is just unacceptable.

If an order isn't going to be delivered on time the customer should be made aware immediately and not left waiting in the dark.

Please buy products somewhere else where you will get proper customer service!!!!

Sarah is amazing! She guided us through options when I was overwhelmed. She really simplified it for us and for that I’m forever grateful. This isn’t about profit, she could I fb easily talked us into a more expensive seat, but didn’t. Instead she saved us money.

Fast send out and communication, was an issue in the beginning due to my wife not checking her junk folder when the seat we purchased wasn’t available in the colour we wanted but had an alternative sent out really quickly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent communication from start to finish with this business. I bought my chosen car seat which was delivered very quickly. A great price too, and cheaper than other retailers.
The car seat came with added extras too which was fantastic.

I also sent pictures of installation and fit check for peace of mind and was reassured.

Amazing experience, I have purchased multiple seats from this business and have always had great aftercare and help when needed. Communication is clear and within an acceptable timeframe considering this is a small business.
We discovered a fault with one of our seats over a year after purchase and were sent out a replacement with the seat while the business waited on a reply from the manufacturer. Amazing customer service.

Ordered a car seat, was told the colour i wanted is out of stock and that I had to wait for other colours to arrive from their suppliers. No time frame given. Haven't replied to any of my emails since. Oddly, the car seat in the colour I purchased which is apparently out of stock, is still available to purchase online. Going to request a refund now as I am sick of waiting and they have poor communication.

Ordered an item online - had an email to say it was taking longer than normal. I’ve emailed twice since asking for an update. This was 3 weeks ago and still no reply or item. Going to do request a payback through my credit card.

SCAMMING SARAH . Please avoid company at all cost! Stole £200 over a month no product or refund to show for it! I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Safe Journey Car Seats has been genuinely awful.

I ordered an expensive car seat for my daughter, with delivery originally expected within days. After weeks of waiting and hearing nothing, I contacted customer service and was told by Sarah that the item I ordered was apparently out of stock. Instead of simply processing a refund when requested, I was repeatedly pushed towards accepting a replacement product that I did not want.

I made it very clear that my partner specifically wanted the colour and model we originally ordered and politely requested a refund instead. After this, communication became almost non-existent. Multiple emails later and over a month has now passed with no meaningful response.
All in this time my child is without a car seat i have made this clear by email after initially replying within a day a month later and 3-4 emails from myself no reply. The have no accountability or understanding that a child is suffering due to incompetency of the company. We have enough money to fund another car seat in the mean time however this is not the point as there is some families that are tight on money and would hate for these fraudsters to hold the funds have they have ours!.
The whole experience has felt disorganised, frustrating, and honestly quite disrespectful as a paying customer. Waiting this long for an expensive item, only to be ignored when requesting a refund, is unacceptable.

I have now had to pursue recovering my money through my card provider, which should never have been necessary.

Customer service isn’t just about taking payments — it’s about communication and fixing problems when things go wrong. Unfortunately, this company failed badly on both.
Im actually baffled as to why the company employ incompetent employees furthermore the company is clearly a scam as even the contact number does not go through to anyone at any time of day . The only form of contact is email which they evidently choose to ignore when wanting to steal your funds and not provide you the refund.

I've purchased four seats from Safe Journey in the past 3.5 years - one infant carrier and 3 ERF seats. Each time the expert advice and customer service has been excellent, and any queries I've had (of which there were many!) have always been answered very quickly, even years after the purchase was made. When my children require HBBs I will definitely be purchasing them from Safe Journey.

I ordered after seeing she had put an offer on a seat i had been eyeing up.
Very good and then i installed myself.

After a few months i had some issues with the position of my seat and i did contact her and sent videos but was hard to explain.

I asked her if i could drive to her and she could show me how to fit properly and she did show me and was really helpful and showed me the nack how to do it properly.

Friendly helpful lady and sorted me a car belt safety clip thing.

Only constructive criticism is to work on communication skills because if i didn’t drive down i would of been stuck with a car seat that would of not been installed 100% correct.

But im a happy customer

Very helpful and accommodating even when we had to replace car seat through no fault of the company. They dealt with it all and sorted it! It was completely stress free for me. And we had a replacement within two days
