My Saviour
I had the misfortune to have my convertible roof fail on my BMW M4 F83 the part for the roof was unavailable globally and with no ETA, I had been waiting since May 22nd for the part and missed the whole of the summer, the car was under warranty and BMW themselves couldn’t get the part, I found Roof Motors online myself and ordered the part, it arrived in days and I hand delivered it to the BMW dealership for them to fit, to say I was relieved, impressed and overjoyed is an understatement.

my part was hold by customs due to circumstances and customs send it back to roofmotors and ok it cost money to send it back but the money left over I never had it back . easy way doing business when you get item back what was payed and sell it again . SO BE WARNED !!!!!!

Buyers beware !!!! More problems with new motor
Buyers beware !!!!!
Seller is really friendly when you ask questions before the purchase but once you ordered the product and you receive the product you are on your own.
The delivered motor was not good due to a broken temperature sensor.
I contacted the seller and he asked me to measure the wires of this temperature sensor but when I asked on which setting and if it needs to be on power or not I didn’t get any respond.
When I send a formal complaint about this the seller suddenly responded back but still no help at all.
I spend multiple hours diagnosing why my roof won’t open and I even bought a dice to find out that the problem is in the new motor.

At the end I spend a lot of money for a refurbished motor with 1 year warranty but that doesn’t matter you see.
Search for a professional company and not this one people.
These motors doesn’t solve problems, they just create new ones.

groupe hydraulique défectueux
J'ai reçu un groupe hydraulique de capote de BMW Z4 dont le moteur électrique avait un souci: il manquait le ventilateur.
J'ai demandé le remplacement ou le remboursement dans plusieurs mails qui sont tous restés sans réponse.
Curieusement, les demandes de renseignements étaient traitées très rapidement.
Pas très sérieux tout cela, à la limite de l'escroquerie ?
Quel dommage de ne pouvoir enlever l'étoile. Donner une réponse 21 mois après le litige et dire que l'affaire est trop ancienne est digne du bûcher.....
Au l'époque, votre "négligence" m'a couté plus de 250 €.....j'ai à votre disposition photos et mails du litige.

We would like to clarify several important points.
The BMW Z4 hydraulic unit supplied does not have a cooling fan as part of its design, therefore no component was missing from the item supplied.
We also strongly reject any suggestion of fraud. RoofMotors has supplied thousands of customers across the UK and internationally, and we always aim to resolve genuine product concerns through our warranty and returns procedures.
Whilst you state that multiple emails were sent, we have no record of receiving correspondence relating to this matter. If you still have copies of those emails, photographs, or any other documentation, please forward them to our Customer Support Team so that we can review the matter properly.
We also have no record of the unit being returned to us for inspection. Where a customer believes an item is faulty, our normal procedure is for the item to be returned so that it can be tested and, where appropriate, repaired, replaced or refunded.
Our previous response was not intended to suggest that the matter was too old to investigate. Rather, due to the time that has passed, we no longer have immediate access to all of the information required to fully review the circumstances surrounding the order.
As this matter cannot be properly investigated through Trustpilot comments, we would ask that any further information is sent directly to our Customer Support Team by email so that we can review the details in full.

The unit supplied was missing a part
The unit supplied was missing a part. The mechanic was able to take the missing part off the old unit and fit to the one supplied by this company but this resulted in extra labour time. I returned the old unit to the company for the cash back as advertised on their web page however so far over a month later have not received anything and have had radio silence to all emails sent chasing this. What started off as a positive declined so I would advise treat with caution

Replacement motor delivered quickly ..very pleased with service
We urgently required a new roof motor for a BMW Z4 which had just failed and was due to be collected by a customer the next day. Got in touch with RoofMotors who agreed to send it urgent delivery next day by 1.00pm at no extra cost. Motor arrived in time, fitted and one happy customer (who we had kept informed of the situation) collected car that afternoon. Sent old motor back and received rebate in seven days from posting. Great service and would have no hesitation in using again

Im Juli 2024 habe ich eine Pumpe für mein Verdeck gekauft. Nach dem Einbau durch eine Fachwerkstatt wurde festgestellt, dass die Pumpe nicht genügend Leistung hat. Trotz mehrfacher Anfrage gab es keine Rückmeldung zu meiner Anfrage und keinerlei Kontakt mehr.

had an issue with my roof motor, they kindly sent a replacement out straight away, we followed a fault finding procedure which led us to believe the motor was not fully operational, no problem at all, send it back for a full refund in line with the 12 month warranty as advertised on the ebay listing, thank you Roof Motors for sorting

Absolutely horrendous service
Absolutely horrendous service, I ordered a rebuilt roof pump for £399 with a 1 year warranty, it's been
fitted to my car just outside of 30 days (due to how busy my Mercedes Specialist is) and it is faulty, I have
contacted this company and they won't issue a refund and haven't even offered a replacement. I would prefer now to have my old pump repaired and
they state this is "suspicious', I have heard bad things about these people, I now realise I should have listened. I now have a £400 roof pump that doesn’t work and I can’t do anything with. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!!!

J'ai acheté une pompe de toit pour une opel tigra. La pompe ne fonctionne pas. Je l'ai fait tester chez un spécialiste, elle est défectueuse. Je demande son remplacement sous garantie ou son remboursement, je n'obtiens aucune réponse. Ce type est un escroc, je dépose une plainte à la police.

Versand für ein 500gr Päckchen aus GB viel zu teuer (über € 34.-!!!) - fällt unter Abzocke.....
Man wird nicht informiert, dass darüber hinaus noch weitere Kosten anfallen (Zoll, DHL etc.) in meinem Fall für ein 90 € Teil nochmal € 21.-
Selbst bei ebay ist bei jedem Kauf in GB Zollservice +Zoll + Mwst inclusive! Insgesamt also sehr schlechter und nicht transparenter Service.....
